Guest Reviews
- Michael J A Stevens (10/5): - Location, staff, and facilities.
- BEATA (10/5): Overall our stay was relaxing, peaceful, friendly place surrounded with beautiful birds and animals. We enjoyed our stay - Very spacious, comfortable , feels homely. Location perfect far from the main road, nice and quiet. Just need a little update for this price.
- Lynn (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable accommodation in Halls Gap with wonderful amenities and special touches - Beautiful accommodation situated close to Halls Gap. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable (especially the bed!), great communication with Louise, and special touches such as champagne and chocolate on arrival.
The setting was lovely, with kookaburras, wallabies and gang gang cockatoos on the doorstep. Absolutely nothing
- Mitch (9/5): -
- Kirsty (10/5): A lovely stay among beautiful gumtrees. Spa and fire are lux comfort. Tastefully decorated and much loved cabin - Gorgeous setting and well designed with comfortable furnishings. Nice walk into town. Generous with the wood provision
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Meg (8/5): Relaxing and romantic - The bed was super comfortable, the spa was devine and huge and the location was a big plus. Would recommend to many people. The TV was old and small and the wifi slow. And the view out the spa wasn't as secluded or private as suggested, but was fine if the curtains were down.
- Julie (6/5): Pleasant - It was warm, bed was very comfortable and bathroom clean. The never ending rules in frames on the walls. Kills the vibe. States, private, however can see houses and people from each window. States luxury but rug on floor so old most of the print has worn off. Undesirable BBQ. Stained spa bath head rests. Was told from cleaning but not a nice look. Wouldn't call luxury, small long-life milk, shared bottles of shampoo and conditioner, not even in dispensers. Very Underwhelming.
- Stuart (10/5): The amenities were great, beautiful scenery and wildlife right outside the door. - The place was the perfect location for halls gap, far enough away to feel the tranquillity of the place, but close enough to be able to easily walk into town.
- Brendon (8/5): Very good -
- Zali (10/5): Heavenly is the right word for this beautiful cabin retreat. Spa bath, log burner and surroundings make this an ideal st - Ideal romantic retreat. Happily rebook for next visit. Very poor wi-fi reception. Best reception in valley shops
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (8/5): Great location and beautiful house for two. -
- Leeanne (8/5): Very good -
- Eva (10/5): A comfy relaxing place to stay for my partner and I, truly romantic experience for our anniversary 🥂 - This place was amazing! Such a lovely and cozy vibe with the fireplace and spa. A truly relaxing place to spend during the cold winter months!
- Philippa (8/5): A lovely place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. - Beautiful peaceful setting amongst the gum trees. We had kangaroos and emus wander past the window in the mornings. There was no oven, but the microwave was able to handle most things.
- Danni (9/5): Superb -
- Winda (10/5): 10/10 - Everthing was amazing. None
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional - Waking up to see kangaroos, parrots and rosellas right outside the window. The property had everything we needed. Great location
- Janette (10/5): very relaxing. Host very helpful and pleasant. - quiet bush setting close to village
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Phoebe-lee (9/5): Great Place to Stay! - This place was amazing to stay at. The bath and balcony were definitely the best parts about the room!
I loved staying here and would definitely stay again. The only thing that I didn't like was that I didn't realise there was no oven, which was a bit of a downer.
- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gill (9/5): Superb -
- Denis (9/5): Comfortable and cosy property, well located and ideal for a short or long stays . - The property was very comfortable, peaceful and well equipped with king bed, spa bath, separate shower, TV/Video, kitchen utensils, dishwasher, BBQ (electric) and heating/air conditioning. A deck at the back overlooks bush and adjacent properties - great for a sun-downer or dinner.
Location was ideal - walking distance to town centre but not too close so as to be quiet.
Access was very straightforward - has undercover parking.
Extras such as bathrobes, toiletries, champagne and chocolate, and food/dining vouchers add to the experience. The WiFi can be slow on occasion, but this may reflect the general area rather than the property (it is fine for most email and web access).
- Sculac (10/5): Great location and hosts - Location was excellent, not too far from town and quiet, accommodation was clean and in great condition. Nothing, all was perfect for our stay.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lena (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): Would love to return. - Cottage cosy with character. Features such as comfortable king bed, spa bath and cast iron fire were much appreciated. Extras such as bathrobes, champagne and chocolate, and food/dining vouchers added to the experience. Sticking front door. Limited dining Monday and Tuesday locally.
- Hutchinson (9/5): Heaven 🥰 - Loved the layout, wood fire, spa bath, super comfy bed and natural surrounds
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Nice quiet location, convenient to town and attractions.
- C. (10/5): Exceptional - My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend away at Heavenly Retreat Halls Gap. The cabin is clean and inviting with everything you need, even champagne and chocolates waiting for us in the fridge. We especially loved the inside fire place, it kept the cabin cosy and warm. The spa is big enough for 2 people and overlooks the trees, such a relaxing way to end the day. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful Australian bush and native birds, and is walking distance to town, with so many nice cafes, restaurants and pubs.
I highly recommend Heavenly Retreat for a weekend away. We had to pay a $100 bond which took 9 days to be refunded. I did receive an email stating it would be returned within 7-10 days but I feel this should be done as soon as the room has been inspected which was the day we left.
- Tymica (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, halls gap is beautiful and heavenly retreat was a beautiful place to stay.
Good restaurant (fire brothers was a must)
Amazing sightseeing of nature
- Sarah (10/5): we had a lovely night together, just some quiet music and no tv - nice and romantic, quiet and comfortable a bit costly
- Cameron (9/5): Great - wildlife No semi blockout binds
