• Bruce (8/5): Very good - Very clean and well laid out house. Overall was a good stay. Burnt out car next door home , police also paid them a vist lol. And sniffer dogs . # petty complaint lol. The corners of the beds foots posts too hard on our knees and thighs , kept bumping into them , when walk around beds. Adult daughter had two bruises out side of thigh . Didnt realise , house wasnt on street , had to go right down end of block to find it.

• Sharyn (9/5): We had a lovely time away. - The location was great - walking distance to the beach and to the local Ocean's Bar & Restaurant where you could go to for drinks, afternoon entertainment and if you felt so inclined, for meals as well. It was also close to the airport and the city centre. I was trying to cook up some sausages on the induction stove the one night we cooked at home, but the frypan didn't appear to be suitable or something wasn't working properly, so we had to use the weber instead which was fine. It would also have been nice if we could have been forewarned that gardeners were coming at 6.30am on the Monday morning.

If we need to return to Mackay and need a larger property , we would stay again. - Had all we needed to make our stay with other family very comfortable and property was very clean. Property was very central to town and lovely to have the beach so close so grandchildren could have a run around.

Plenty of fridge space Location was good for our needs. Quiet area. We would love to stay here again. Thanks While my review rates the property as 8/10, I would actually give it 9/10. Only minor issues - Didn't see any instructions for operation of cooktop and security lighting, which kept coming on through the night affecting master bedroom. Needed potato masher and microwave cookware, baking dish for oven. Some pots not suitable for the cooktop.

• Laraine (7/5): We had a lovely time in and around Mackay. - the house was clean, the area quiet and close to the beach where we walked daily. it was great having a coffee pod machine! ceiling fans were fabulous! a couple of things needed repair which have been relayed to the owner. We felt that the place could have been more prepared for holiday renters, simple things such as ensuring bbq gas bottle was full - not almost empty, and a dishwasher tablet for each day we had booked could have been provided rather than just a few.
• Hayden (10/5): Exceptional - If you are travelling with a pet and need to leave them outside, it is a good idea to take something with you to prevent them digging their way out under the gate which has a large gap and sandy base for easy digging. Just FYI. Otherwise everything else was great!
