The kitchen was stocked up and had everything you needed to cook with which we appreciated. A very nice place for a quick getaway The cleanliness of the bedding, we found some little insects that were dead on the pillows, the insects seemed to come from the cactus plant that was in the room 😅

• Michelle (8/5): A great little stay in a quiet location and so close to the beach. - Easy walk to the beach. Indoor and outdoor fireplace was cosy for a winter’s evening. Great wood fire pizza oven. Excellent shower. Responsive hosts. Seating for lounging wasn’t great. The bedrooms other than the master were on the small side. Dish scourer was too small.

• K (10/5): Absolute heaven - We loved it all. We have 2 toddlers and the play equipment, books, toys etc was just perfect. For us adults, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the entire place was immaculate. The design and thought that has gone into making this place so incredible is second to none. There’s nothing to dislike!!

• Greg (10/5): The Hideaway is a beautiful, tranquil property and a delight from the moment you open the front gate. - The Hideaway is the most well appointed property we have ever stayed at! The owners have taken great care to create a beautiful retreat and were also very accommodating at meeting our request for a slightly earlier check in. It’s only a minor issue but the bed in the main bedroom is a little low and we found it a bit difficult (we’re not super young any more!).
