Guest Reviews
- Annette (10/5): - Beautiful little cottage, very comfortable
- Sharon (10/5): -
- Kerry (8/5): We loved the accommodation, would recommend it to others. - The accommodation was beautiful. The smell of baked bread on arrival was wonderful, e we ate it straight away. A beautiful home, decorated beautifully, very quaint and the outdoor area was also lovely to relax on the sunshine. Sorry we weren’t there longer. The tv in the sunroom seems to be on its way out, worked but covered with vertical lines across it. The shower drain needs clearing, struggled to drain properly and the shower gels, shampoos etc we’re mostly empty. But those were not big deals, or a complaint, just an FYI for you.
- Rob (9/5): Great location and accessible - Location and cleanliness All great
- Mel (10/5): We had a fantastic stay! The Cottage was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and in a perfect location. Zak was incred - We had a fantastic stay! The Cottage was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and in a perfect location. Zak was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations. The kitchen was well-equipped the smell of the fresh baked bread was incredible tasted so dam good and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome basket. Would definitely stay here again Na

- Helen (9/5): Great spot, cutesy cottage, perfect for a Dubbo explore. - Lovely cottage and beautiful decorated. Spotless, generously stocked in supplies, crockery and cookware, wood, etc. had a very welcoming air to it. Easy walk to the shops and dinner. Nothing at all. If I could add one thing it would be a throw blanket for the couch in the winter
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (10/5): Excellent - Everything Nothing
- Noelene (10/5): Amazingly charming and wonderfully comfortable! - The breakfast supplied was absolutely wonderful. There was ample supply and very nutritious choices. The smell of freshly cooking bread on arrival was magnificent and homely! The little plunge pool out the back and the very intimate backyard were lovely and relaxing for myself and my little dog after a long day of travelling. An amazing little cottage that was lovely and well stocked with some amazing local produce to use and/or purchase. There is very little parking available and with so many trees (with very large protruding roots) it is not ideal if you have a large vehicle or a trailer, however the cottage more than made up for this shortfall. Prepare to park a little away from the dwelling which is a little concerning when you can't keep an eye on your valuables but saying that everything was safe and sound in this seemingly quiet area.
- Dawn (9/5): Great place to stay! - The sunroom was lovely! Loved the big comfy white chair! Great kitchen but we hadn’t realised there was no oven! Otherwise it was all good. Appreciated the laundry! No oven!
- Katrina (8/5): Very good - Was very well appointed with well thought luxury items Unfortunately we arrived on a very hot day and the air conditioning was inadequate, the pool was refreshing but could have done with a clean before we came
- Browne (7/5): Beautiful home and great breakfast, rooms need air conditioning. - Great location, beautiful home, nice pool area, well equipped kitchen and quality food included Rooms were very hot as air conditioning was in the lounge rooms, tv was located in the brightest hottest part of the house.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - The complimentary breakfast was fabulous especially the freshly baked bread. The backyard was perfect for my dog and the plunge pool was beautiful.
- Elena (10/5): Amazing! - The property is exceptional, the host has thought of everything. I can't wait to go back!
- Harriet (10/5): Beautiful stay, highly recommend! - Truly exceeded our expectations.. the house was beautiful, comfortable, the pool and outdoor space was amazing. I turned 30 here and it was the perfect place to have a special birthday!
- Megan (10/5): 11/10 - It was all the little details that made it feel like coming home Didn’t want to leave
- Kate (8/5): Very cute cottage, we enjoyed our stay. Very thoughtful touches throughout and beautifully decorated - The homemade bread and amazing provisions provided. Plus the plunge pool! Perfect on the 40 + degree day we arrived No air conditioning in bedroom - only an issue on particularly hot days though.
- Leah (10/5): Worth the money!! - Really enjoyable overnight stay at the cottage. Appreciated how organised and well thought out everything was, from all of the lovely products in the kitchen, to the toiletries and even having additional items for dogs making it super pet friendly. Nothing - everything was perfect and well thought about.
- Robyn (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay. The added touches were really appreciated. the artwork was very special - The breakfast was exceptional made special by yummy home made bread Nothing
- Susie (10/5): Exceptional - Very pet friendly. Private garden and beautiful plunge pool. Great breaky and bar amenities. We didn't use the bikes but awesome they're available...maybe next time 😀
- Clara (10/5): A beautiful hidden oasis in the outskirts of Dubbo! This is THE place to stay if you’re wanting a quiet, relaxing and be - The property was in a great location and it felt like an oasis away from Dubbo! The house was absolutely beautiful and spotless and accommodated our two larger dogs on our travel from Broken Hill to Sydney. When we first arrived to were welcomed to the smell of a fresh loaf of bread the host made for us alongside local jams, honey, fruit, milk and eggs. The host went above and beyond what we would normally expect from an Air Bnb! I cannot wait to stay here again! Simply divine x
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks for a wonderful weekend couldn’t be happier
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect - We loved everything!
The house is absolutely beautiful and comfortable, with carefully chosen furniture—it’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully planned.
We loved the included breakfast (they provide a generous portion of fruits, eggs, yogurt, etc.), and the experience of baking our own bread was so enjoyable—the bread is delicious!
The beds are spacious and very comfortable, and the sheets were perfectly clean.
We couldn’t be happier with our stay! N/A
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): Lovely comfortable stay. - Comfortable, great location, clean. A few cockroaches made their appearance at night.
- Barbara (9/5): Superb - Wow factor when you walk in.

- Cheryl (9/5): Has everything you need ! - Everything ! Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): Superb. It was a real pleasure to be able to spend the weekend at your delightful cottage. - Excellent breakfast selection and generous serves with good quality ingredients and personal touch. Small bowls needed and more bench space/table in kitchen would help. But this is a minor concern.
- Larry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kyla (10/5): Exceptional -

Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone visiting Dubbo. Nothing - it was perfect!
- Brian (9/5): Home from home - The host has put a lot of thought to the needs of guests. This would be one of the best B&B type accommodation we have ever experienced.
Warm, comfortable and accommodating. Dogs next door barking when you were out the back. No off street parking would be difficult for larger vehicles

- Louise (10/5): Splendid - Loved the smell of freshly baked bread and chilled music playing. Breakfast selection was excellent.
- Skipworth (10/5): Fresh bread and great communication - Beautiful property with everything we needed, including fresh bread braking on arrival, very special.
Beds we very comfy.
The host was very thoughtful and considerate, especially when the plan didn't go to plan. Communication was excellent. Lino needs securing. Coukd use a few more hanging point for dresses/suits.
- Kylie (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely and quaint piece of paradise. - The whole beautiful thing. Such a warm and comforting home with every bit of detail covered. Beautiful warm bread cooking on arrival, such lovely décor and comfortable beds. The plunge pool was even used and appreciated on the brisk Dubbo morning. The food available for us was very much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
- Ann (10/5): Magnificent - Everything. This has to be the best accomodation I ever stayed. Zero
- Emily (10/5): Welcoming, warm and didn't want to leave. - What a gorgeous little spot. On arrival we were greeted with the smell of bread cooking in the bread cooker. The host had left a few lights on and pre warmed the cottage which made it feel welcoming and homely. The breakfast was sensational, there was even fresh milk and juice in the fridge.
The place was super clean and the bed super comfy.
Susan has thought of everything you may need and more.
Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. Nothing at all!
- Peter (7/5): Good - Fresh bread was nice, host was very helpful. Kitchen is very small, no bench space.
Plunge pool is too small to be of any use.
- John (10/5): This little cottage is second to none, loved our stay. - This little cottage was absolutely stunning. From the moment you set foot inside you can’t go past the smell of fresh cooked bread waiting for you. The cottage was definitely a 5 star plus rating as the owner went that extra mile. With the most comfortable bedding and everything possible creature comforts of home plus more.
The backyard was delightful and very private with a practical plunge pool to cool off. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a holiday home away from home.
A huge special thanks to Susan for going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable as possible. Nothing not to like it was perfect as described on bookings.com
- Celeste (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous and stunning property. Everything about it is 5 star!
- Ian (9/5): Very enjoyable and beutiful house with caring Host. - Having a house to ourselves, and a yard for the dogd to run in. Getting key code was a bit of a problem
- Sonia (10/5): Absolutely stunning property with everything thought of. - What a welcome! Opening the door to the property was a pleasure to the senses! The smell of freshly baked bread, the subtle sounds of a symphony and an incredible view through the light-filled sunroom towards the back garden and pool. Topped off with a stocked wine fridge, fresh fruit and home made jams. Didn’t have to leave for anything!
Also loved that I could have my dogs with me :) The tap wear in the bathroom took a little getting used to but that really wasn’t an issue.
- Iris (7/5): Good -
- Linda (10/5): Excellent location staying in a stylish cottage. - The location, the beautiful decor. The host was kind and had eggs, fresh bread, fruit, juice & yogurt on arrival. The doors to the bedrooms didn’t lock properly.
- Dana (8/5): Very good -
- Valenzuela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mitchell (9/5): Great place close to centre of the city - Great location near the centre of the city. Comfortable rooms. Because it is an older build the power points are in odd places, so extension cords or power boards with leads are helpful.
- Susan (9/5): Absolutely delightful wished we had more time to enjoy the property - It was clean, beautiful styled & decorated with the age of the property in mind.
The host is so thoughtful in providing all your wants & needs, beautiful breakfast & and honesty bar it was just amazing. As 2 ladies travelling together we could have done with a few more coat hangers & hanging space in the main bedroom also a table top of some sort to put items on instead of having to bend down to the suitcase each time. Also we wished there had been a hand held shower spray also as lovely as the shower & indeed bathroom is we would have liked to not always get the hair wet.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gundi (8/5): A relaxing and comfortable stay - Location was excellent - close to town but very quiet. Breakfast was very well considered, plenty of options for all members of the family.

- Justine (10/5): Loved it! Would love to come and stay again! - Loved it! lovely and spacious! Great pool. Beautiful food left for us. Air conditioning didn't go into the bedrooms (despite having the door open) so we were hot overnight. No doubt this is only a problem when it is super-hot.

- Lindagb (10/5): Exceptional - Walking in to hear music playing and the smell of freshly baked bread, this is a property where every little detail (and big) has been thought of. Use of local artisans wares throughout the property, comfortable beds, fabulous breakfast provisions, this is truly a home away from home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Trip to the zoo, local restaurants and bars (Royal Indian Restobar was great), and Saddler & Co were highlights.
We look forward to a return visit. No easy access to off-street parking ... but ample street parking.
