- KATE (10/5): Wonderful in Winton! - Loved Olive Grove! Close to town and fully catered for this place is wonderful!
We loved the kitchen, had the best coffee machine, outdoor fire and bath, washing machine and overall beautiful styling inside. Everything was catered for! Beds were so comfy too, beautiful linen and amazing shower! We loved it all! 10/10! Having kids we weren’t a fan of the white linen couch we were scared of staining the indoor and outdoor couches but they were super lovely and comfy. Otherwise there was nothing we didn’t like!
- Constance (10/5): We loved it! - We loved our stay here. The outside bathtub and firepit made this place unforgettable. The house was clean and well stocked with cooking equipment. The location is perfect as it is close to everything yet still private and quiet.

It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into making it feel welcoming, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cosy living spaces. The location was ideal for exploring Winton and coming back to unwind at the end of the day. We especially enjoyed sitting outside in the afternoon and evenings and taking in the quiet surroundings. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We loved everything!

Beautiful decor and very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Everything we needed to have a wonderful relaxing and enjoying stay. Nothing- it was perfect.
- Chris (10/5): Excellent though a power outage in the area the morning we left made organising our departure more d -
- Debbie (8/5): Very good - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olive Grove and when we return to Winton we will definitely book again. It was a magical break right in the middle of our 4000klm road trip.
- Anthony (9/5): Top class accommodation for two couples - The comfort Only one bathroom
- Yuri (10/5): Unexpectedly delightful. - The welcome basket of fruit cheese biscuits and quince paste was marvellous!! Smell of the water, but realised it was all that was available.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crystal (10/5): Exceptional - Oh my goodness what a gem in the outback this property is! The lights were on for our arrival, and it instantly felt like a home away from home.
The outdoor bath was a treat, the beds are comfortable, the outdoor eating and entertaining space with a fire a delight. And I was very grateful for the coffee machine.
The smallest details have been considered when staying at this place, and after a long drive or days of sightseeing it was very appreciated.
- Samantha (9/5): Superb -
- Maggie (10/5): Exceptional - Olive Grove is a spectacular stay. Beautifully decorated with a touch of luxury. Our stay in Winton was fantastic, and coming home each day to Olive Grove made it perfect. We loved the outdoor bath and fire pit or relaxing with a wine on the front deck, nibbling the special treats in the generous welcome basket.
- Jenny (10/5): Probably the best house I have ever stayed. - Olive Grove in Winton is a gem of a place. Beautifully decorated, really well supplied kitchen, comfortable space to sit outside. and listen and watch the birdlife. Really comfortable beds. The host could not have been more obliging.
- Gary (10/5): we loved Olive Grove, it is a great property finished with quality furnishings and appliances. - location was great, central to Winton yet quiet. this has nothing to do with the property, but the town reticulated water supply (bore water) does smell rather strongly of hydrogen sulphide when having a shower and takes a bit of getting used to, so be warned when visiting Winton!
- Nigel (8/5): A very lovely stay in a house where the owners had done the best to make it a little special - The bath in the back yard, the front verandah, the little touches. The bedrooms were a little small for the size of the beds
- Stephanie (10/5): Amazing little house, we will definitely stay here again next time rather than in a motel it was perfect to have the ext - Such a warm and welcoming feeling Nothing
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - This place was an oasis and everything was thought of for our stay right down to the recommendation of the Tattersalls Pub for dinner (was great by the way). Loved Olive Grove and was amazing, comfortable and beautiful.
- Rhez (9/5): Amazing place to stay - Olive Grove is amazing place to stay in Winton. We love everything about it specially the Nespresso coffee. Definitely coming back and stay here if we go back to Winton.
- Cheyenne (10/5): Exceptional - The Olive grove has a warm welcoming feel to it, with lots of attention to the finer details. Would absolutely recommend!!
- Jane (10/5): Olive Grove was the perfect retreat. We loved every moment of our stay here. Highly recommended! - We loved everything about this property. Beautifully designed and finished. Exceptional facilities and guest guides to take advantage of everything the property has to offer. Loved it! Oh, and the welcome hamper was delicious!
- Paul (10/5): Extremely comfortable luxury stay in the outback! Will definitely be back! - We loved pretty much everything about this stunning home. From the exceptionally comfortable furnishings including couch and beds, linen and towelling.
The home is beautifully styled, and we loved all the high end touches including Smeg appliances, incredible bathroom and the thoughtful and generous gift hamper left by our friendly hosts! Would have liked somewhere to put our clothing, needed a tall boy in each bedroom so guests don’t have to live out of a suitcase.
Beautiful and comfortable large couch however two smaller couches may be more conducive to two couples sharing this incredible property.
- Peita (10/5): Surprising sophisticated retreat to relax and unwind. - Loved having a coffee machine and spacious kitchen. Comfortable beds and lounge sofa. Lovely thoughtful decor made our stay very relaxing. Would have used the lovely bath but didn’t take togs and not really screened for privacy. Lovely range of personal care products. Linen bedding looked lovely but I prefer cotton or bamboo - not so scratchy on my skin.
- Claire (10/5): So very beautiful - What a beautiful property! Everything is thought of. It's stunning. I think it would have to be the most beautiful house/property in Winton. The attention to detail is exquisite. Bed was sooooo dreamy and comfortable, coffee machine made delicious coffees, rain shower is divine. Only things we would suggest would perhaps be face washers added to the supplied linen and bathrobes to get to/from the house to the stunning outdoor bath. And a warning to not wear silver jewellery while bathing/showering as the town water turns this tarnished (but all fixed with some Silvo purchased from the local supermarket) 😀
- Damien (10/5): Great place to stay -
- Noel (9/5): Great property well located and very comfortable. - Very comfortable well presented property that accommodates two couples easily. It’s located within a 10/15 minute walk from the CBD shops, pubs & supermarket. A/c in each room which we needed during a very warm August stay. Nice front balcony for afternoon snacks in the fresh air. Beds were very comfortable. Maybe a BBQ?
- Shelly (10/5): Clean, quiet, cosy and comfortable. - The location was excellent. We found the Olive Grove very clean, lovely and homely.
Beautiful kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and living room.
The outdoor bathtub was a real treat, and we were sorry we didn't get a chance to light the outside fire pit. Next time. We loved the cottage - no complaints here.
- Anthony (9/5): An oasis in a quaint QLD town - Clean, well supplied Nothing
- Kerrie (7/5): Good - The outdoor area with fire pit and bath was a great inclusion which we all enjoyed. The decor and functionality of the kitchen, dining and living areas were exceptional. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The decor of the bathroom was modern however the water from the shower was not contained within the shower area and tracked around the shower wall. The floor beside the shower remained wet. The linen bath towels provided were attractive but not great to use. The switch for the beautiful bedside lighting in one bedroom was not adjacent to the bed.
- Garry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Maree (10/5): Excellent -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Olive Grove was fabulous. It exceeded my expectations. The house provided a wonderful base for exploring the Winton area.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was first class. A real gem in the outback
- Stephen (10/5): Perfect - The house was excellent, Winton was very cold at night so we hit the hot outdoor bath after the opera, it was fantastic, sitting with the garden lights off and star gazing. House and bedrooms were warm and cozy. All of the kitchen items and supplies were great. Well done guys. Nothing to write here.
- Kinmar (9/5): Fantastic family stay - Comfy beds, sparkling clean, well appointed. So many lovely touches. Lovley kitchen and bathroom products, nespresso machine, smart TV. It really felt like a touch of big city luxury in Winton. We wish it hadn't been 41C, so we could have tried the outdoor bath and fire pit! Wasn't a huge fan of linen bath towels. But they did look nice! And the only thing missing for this mama of a birthday boy was a cake tin. But that's a pretty specific thing ( and my bad to forget to bring one)!
- Jonathan (10/5): A real gem of a property. Outback luxury. -
- Bronwyn (9/5): fabulous and highly recommended - we loved just about everything! it was a fabulous home away from home and really close to everything.
- Leanne (10/5): An oasis in the country. - This was a beautiful home. So relaxing. I loved the linen sheets on the luxurious bed. The bathtub out the back was a real treat. I loved the way the home had been decorated. The whole house was of a very high standard. So peaceful. Loved the Mediterranean feel especially the bathroom. It was a sheer joy to stay. Just sad we couldn’t have stayed longer.
- Tracie (10/5): A little piece of luxury in Winton -
- Shahrzad (9/5): Superb -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wood (10/5): Olive Grove is a perfect place to stay for a visit to Winton, in season (winter). - Very well decorated and maintained, Olive Grove provided all the amenities you could want. Exceptionally clean, with access to local personnel if a problem arises (which none did). Still managed to fill up time with the Waltzing Matilda Center (amazing), a guided tour of the Rangeland Rifts and the Age of Dinosaurs. You must eat at Tattersalls. Not Olive Grove’s fault, but Winton is one sleepy town outside of tourist season. People around town, however, were friendly and accommodating.
- Kerry (9/5): Best stay in Winton - A lovely boutique style 2 bedroom little house with fully equiped kitchen with excellent oven and cooktop.Decor is excellent. Only thing missing is covered parking
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - clean and very comfortable and the bed was great able to get good nights sleep.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gail (10/5): what an amazing find, we loved staying there and will definitely book again. thank you - the owners have thought of everything. it’s an exceptional property and so well kitted out.
we felt at home immediately. nothing
- Smith (10/5): Exceptional - the outdoor bath was amazing. the coffee machine was wonderful. the beds were very comfortable. it was a very nice clean and comfortable place to stay while we explored the area. nothing about the property itself. just the address on Booking.com showed 19 cork st but the house was around the corner in Nesbit st which caused a bit of confusion when we arrived.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): Fabulous, welcoming and relaxing - Quiet street away from the highway, fabulous house to stay in, very very clean and loved the full kitchen facilities and able to prepare meals for the family at accom after a busy day sightseeing N/a
- Andrew (10/5): Just loved being in this wonderful holiday house. Serendipitous bliss! - This property is outstanding. What an oasis, a wonderful oasis. We have stayed in a lot of properties around the world, and this is one of the best. Decor - should be in Home and Garden! Outdoor bath - brilliant. Fire pit - such a great idea. Nespresso coffee - I love that touch. The kitchen - so stylish. Big Frame TV - wow! The water has a sulphur smell - it is water from the artesian basin - it is not so bad if you are expecting it and know that it is common in these areas.
