• Rhiannon (9/5): Fantastic location, beautiful house. - Gorgeous little house! Loved being able to open up the doors. The water pressure in the shower is excellent and the beds were really comfy. The path from the gate to the house lights up at night on a sensor that is very handy. Tyrone was super helpful with check in and allowing us to use the driveway to park as there was a cycling event on and streets were blocked. Close to restaurants and can walk across the road to watch the sunrise on the beach. We stayed on a Saturday night and didn’t have the best sleep because of the music and screaming coming from Pepe’s until early hours of the morning. I live on a farm and am not used to loud noises at night. The good far outweighs the bad though!

• simon (10/5): Absolutely brilliant - Absolutely brilliant’ location can not be beaten, directly across from the beach’ surf club bars cafes walking tracks swimming pools you name it it’s there, house itself has everything required from Air con, outside seating, just a great stay! Only minor, however couch/ sofa not comfortable but lucky we barely spent time inside so this place still gets a ten. Parking can be an issue however host let me park on the side of the driveway so huge kudos to the host!

• Mashalah (5/5): It was a lovely home however, very loud outside and aircon did not work and no windows, I felt like - Left in the door It would have been helpful to know how close the property is to a loud nightclub, and that the owner would be staying right next door. The home itself was lovely, but the outside noise was very loud, the air-conditioning didn’t work, and there were no windows or security screens. We also found sand in one of the made beds and on the floor when we arrived.

• kim, (10/5): We only stayed one night here as we went to see a concert really handy. You got an Uber there and back great location. C - Properties close to everything great location Because of the occasion, it can be a little bit noisy in the morning.
• Trawlo (10/5): Location, guest house was really comfortable. Walking distance to beach, dinner and brekkie! - Keys were where they had advised. Knowing the time you were to arrive made that a bit easier.

Would be great in summer when up later. Plus the running festival was on with volunteers screaming with encouragement ahhaha Would have liked a spare blanket for the colder stay. And handy for a mirror in the living space. We were getting ready for an event and 3 people sharing the same mirror between showers tested my patience hahah

• Jane (5/5): Nth Wollongong - It was very clean, and the beds were comfy. Very pretty location. Well, euiped kitchen. I know it was Saturday night, but it was so noisy, we didn't get much sleep. There was no hair-dryer, which I thought was strange. Parking is atrocious.

• Russell (9/5): Nice short break. Good facilities inside and surrounds. Proximity to everything you need. - Great location. Close to beach and eateries with plenty of open space nearby. NIce and quiet for a winter break for a few days. A small dining table would have been nice but we made do.

• Jeni (9/5): Superb - great location and very easy self check in. parking was ok too and house was lovely. very noisey in the early morning due to it being next to the NOVETEL and beach so there were multiple garbage trucks and laundry trucks etc at 5am and lots of dogs barking.
• Tara (1/5): Not worth the money at all. - Location The property is advertised as two bedroom whereas it’s a one bedroom with second bed in lounge. Where second bed is placed there is no privacy nor a door so how is it classified a bedroom? During this time of winter we weren’t even given blankets but asked by owner to use the aircon for heating which is a nightmare to switch on and off to control temperature

Since I travelled for work, I did not get all that much time to enjoy the beach feel of the property, But beautiful place to stay if you had the time. Close to beach and coffee shops There is a night club close by - A little noisy. Locals doing burn outs in the street. But then I am from the bush and not used to "city" life and sounds. Still had a great stay.

It’s a one bedroom with a dividing wall where a lounge room should be and a bed is placed there No side tables next to the bed no where for phones, drinks or laptops Dirty old kettle Stove dirty and range dusty Outdoor furniture chipping and looking old No privacy it’s very open to the street Construction across the road is now obstructing the water view Some of the above should be in the description and price should reflect. I feel like I defiantly overpaid for what I received. Nearly $700 for one night is very regretful I’ll make sure to do more research next time

• Teresa (3/5): Disappointing place - The house smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom was perpetually wet. There were no nightstands in the bedroom—nowhere to put a phone or book or drink. The waste bin in the bathroom was rusted and didn’t function. The host contacted us in advance for photos of our credit card and ids, which seemed weird.

• Anonymous (7/5): we had a problem with the hot water however one message to Tyrone and it was sorted promptly and efficiently. - location, location, location and a quaint and very cozy layout.🌅 we had a two night stay and I assumed we would have fresh towels daily, change of bin liner and removal of rubbish etc and change of bath mat because the one we had was absolutely soaking after one shower. Our stay would have been absolutely perfect if these details were changed 😊

• Melissa (7/5): Great location - Location of the property was amazing. Yard was great for our toddler to run around. Outdoor shower was perfect for sand wash offs after coming back from the beach. Host was quick to respond to messages. Complimentary water and shower products were nice. The online pictures are deceiving of how close the host actually lives. He certainly didn't bother us at all but there was a sense of not being fully comfortable as he is able to see everything you are doing. Parking was a little difficult as due to the hot weather everyone was at the beach. The restaurant/bar next door is noisy which didn't bother us too much it was more the yelling, screaming and fighting of people leaving there late at night.
• Leanne (10/5): A beach house stay for Australia Day - Location to beach, sunnlounges outside, ability to open doors up for a totally indoor / outdoor space Didn't realise it wasn't a stand alone property - however there was no one in the main property so it was fine. Bedside tables in the separate bedroom and/or a luggage stand would have been good, as we just had everything sitting on the floor.

• Anonymous (6/5): great location but, on balance, probably won’t stay again. - location is great - close to beach, cafes, walks open indoor/outdoor layout bedding was comfy owner friendly could not access wifi damp smell, no fan in bathroom, strong cleaning smell on arrival organised early check in but cleaner still finishing up when we arrived at 30 mins after expected checkin time no written info about checking out or local recommendations 3 sheets of paper towel left, no foil/cling wrap batteries for AC failing. intrusive mynah birds hanging around and entered residence at one point. also saw a rat in the garden. understand this is hard for host to control but still unpleasant. parking v limited during busy weekend periods construction across the road limits the view at the moment as others have mentioned, not private from main house.

• Andrea (7/5): Great Location. Easy access. Would be lovely for 1 couple not 2, only 1 bathroom. - The location was fabulous and easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Nicely decorated. Good communication with owner. Loved the auto blinds. Very quaint and sad that they will replace with a big development. We travelled with another couple and not easy with 1 bathroom- not their fault my research wasn't good enough. The 2nd bedroom was exposed so no privacy. No exhaust in bathroom. No normal tea.
• Judith (10/5): Exceptional - the property was clean and super handy to coffee and food as well as the beach, The tiles in the shower were very slippery and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. the bedding was all feathers, in future I would request hypoallergenic bedding as I am allergic to feathers.
