• Lisa (8/5): Well, appointed good Location - The location is good Magnetic Island turned on the weather. Ray the caretaker is amazing. The properties are well appointed and great for larger families. We found out the hard way there are two completely seperate buildings called Dacha. So there are effectively four apartments available 9A& 9B 11 A and 11B. Make sure you find out which one you’re in as the advertising of “the whole house” means 1/2 of the building. Having stayed there previously, we thought we were renting the whole Dacha house … is it turned out we had only booked half of one.

• Annette (9/5): Besides those little things .. we all enjoyed our stay - Great for a gathering… Had 11 people and everyone had their own room Need an extra separate toilet and shower for upstairs.. need hooks in bathrooms to hang your towels and clothes etc … Toilet roll holder would be good in all the toilets. Maybe solar heater for pool for winter 😊

• Nanette (9/5): A very enjoyable stay, all communication very good. - We loved the location, close to terminal, shops and restaurants/cafes. The accommodation suited us perfectly there were 7 of us, so we each had a room, although the bunk room was a little overcrowded. The facilities were great and provided us with practically all utensils for cooking (perhaps a pair of kitchen scissors were missing). Important to read instructions that were provided by Ekaterina, especially for opening front door, good to have one person reading and another following the directions. Once we worked it out, easy to do it next time.

• Francine (10/5): Beautiful, large, modern house with amazing views! - Beautiful house with plenty of space, modern furnishings, fixtures, fittings and appliances and spectacular views. The pool was lovely, although not heated like we're used to in South Australia, so we only took a quick dip. The beds and couches/chairs were comfortable and the air-conditioning and fans throughout kept us comfortable. The location was close to a convenience store, chemist and bottle shop - easy walking distance to get provisions for our stay. It was a bit difficult to find takeaway food options nearby, but the full kitchen meant we could have cooked if we wanted to. We didn't dine out while we were there, but there seemed to be several options available for in-restaurant dining. Instructions for opening the door were hidden in a document (attached to the welcome email instead of in the email itself), which made it a bit hard to get into the house at first. The house was overall clean and well appointed, but the teatowels didn't smell fresh enough to use and there was no liquid dishwashing detergent. We had detergent and paper towel with us, so we managed. For a larger group, there would be enough dishes to load the dishwasher. The floors were freshly mopped, but still a bit dusty (noting the back doors had been left open, which probably allowed dirt/dust to blow in). Sinks in two of the bathrooms had clogged drains, which meant they didn't drain well (they need a proper clean). Some of the fan remote controllers were a bit temperamental (the "dining" controller seemed to control the lounge fan, and the "lounge" controller didn't seem to work at all).
