• David (2/5): Far from luxury as advertised. - Great views and area. Not much else. Not a well maintained property at all. For the price, you’re better finding a more luxurious property. This is far from luxury as advertised, except for the views which are great. Very small bedrooms except for the main one. Dirty. There was dirty underwear and kids toys left under the sofa. It was extremely dusty which one guest struggled with due to their allergies. Glass left over the balcony (this is the second review about glass being left around). The bins have never been cleaned and had a horrendous smell on arrival. Laundry drying area looks like it has never been cleaned and had towels left from previous guests. They even had the cheek to ask for an extra $55 cleaning fee (pictures attached of what was left and fee charges for - pathetic excuse and effectively stole money from us). Cutlery and resources needed for your stay. We had 6 guests and 2 kids, yet only 5 plates. You have had multiple reviews around this same issue and still haven’t done anything to fix this. Tells the story of how little this property has been maintained over the years, hence its extremely poor condition.

• Peter (8/5): BEAUTIFUL VIEWS - The locations was excellent, stunning view - was lovely to see all the different boats passing by. Great to have a coffee machine (need to buy your own coffee pods). Apartment was well furnished and comfortable. Garage cover for car was a bonus. Window furnishings should be darker in the bedrooms, there was a lot of light coming through - waking up at 5:30am is not ideal. Crockery was chipped. No microwavable containers or can opener. Access to the beach via the path at the front was overgrown and not really assessible - would have been nice to walk to the beach this way, although there was access a short distance down the hill. No beach towels.
• Stacy (9/5): Wonderful place to relax, soak up gorgeous views and enjoy the beach. - We loved the gorgeous views and location was nice! The bed was very comfortable. We were promised a bottle of wine if we completely paperwork—CC and pics of drivers license in a timely was which we did. No wine was given. No trash can liners in the main trash or coffee pods or washing machine pods. No beach towels—bring your own but not possible for us traveling from USA. We are still glad we stayed here!
• Murray (10/5): The house was exactly what we were looking for. - Location was great and the views were breathtaking. We were very comfortable and cozy during our anniversary getaway. So much better than staying in a hotel. We will be back. The deck needs to be replaced. It has been painted and was still usable but is obviously falling apart and footings are sinking. It would have been nice to have access to the stairway leading down to the beach.
• Mikaela (7/5): Beautiful place but a little disappointing for the cost! - Amazing location, beautiful views The property wasn’t cleaned throughly, there was broken glass under the lounge, dishwasher wasn’t unpacked from previous guest usage, the air conditioner in the main room wasn’t working and neither was the spa bath that also didn’t work. For the price of the apartment it was a little run down. Having to unpack the previous guest load of a lot of dishes and the broken glass that my children found wasn’t very good!

The view is breathtaking and occasionally you can spot local dauphine from the terrace. The rental application form and photo upload of our credit detail was excessive given the information was already provided via booking.com

• Kelvin (10/5): Views to die for in a modern apartment close to everything - Beautiful view, cleanliness and amenities. Perfect for family vacation. Nice big bathrooms and comfy beds. Staff were super helpful and promptly notified that I left something at the property. Nothing. Highly recommend

• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - We have been staying at some of the 'better places' at Nelson Bay for over 20 years and quite frankly non have been up to standard. We have often looked at this property wishing it was available for rent. Now we have stayed there, we certainly were not disappointed. Riviera was a breath of fresh air, being beautifully presented with high end finishes. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional to the extent that all of the windows and glass balustrade were spotless. Your cleaning crew should be commended! (Quite often in the past we have had to clean the outdoor areas before we could even use them). Information and check in procedure was very efficient. Only fault with the property was not being able to keep doors/windows open due to lack of screens (noting that with the double glazing it would be extremely hard to provision screens). Would have been great to get fresh air rather than relying on the AC

• Oriole (10/5): relaxing and memorable - amazing views, exactly as pictured. the property really captures the best view of beautiful Nelson Bay. great facilities and spacious rooms. lots of storage and everything we can think of was provided. This really is a fantastic place to stay! the only suggestion I would give is to maybe rethink the storage in the garage. we have a large SUV that couldn’t fit in the garage or the small space between the garage and the front door so we ended having to leave the garage door open. views, location and facilities
