Guest Reviews
- Hernandez (10/5): - Beautiful experience the tranquility the sceneary is priceless. The house was just so comfy and had everything you needed to feel at home. There is nothing i didnt like
- William (10/5): -
- Lee (10/5): -
- Ashley (9/5): A beautiful relaxing stay and a wonderful fire pit for stargazing. - A stunning view from high up on the mountain. Very sweet well looked after cottage and large outdoor area. No bath per description, two neighbouring properties close-by compared to photos, not completely secluded.
- Nilakshi (10/5): - Beautiful location. Very friendly and responsive hosts.
- Katrina (10/5): Luxurious home away from home. - This place absolutely magic! Very clean and tidy with every effort made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Attention to detail was immaculate!
- Sebastian (8/5): - The remote location and the facilities
- Phoebe (10/5): -
- Sim and Ash (7/5): - Breathtaking views all around. A bit too small, tv didn't work, ex tremely rough driving path for non 4wd or ute
- Cheryl (8/5): Gorgeous escape - Charming cottage with everything you could require. Coffee machine, tea and milk provided as well as some staples. Heating works well and the water is hot and has great water pressure. The road into the property is a long and winding dirt and gravel road which is challenging in the dark and wet for us city folk.
The second bedroom only has single beds and there is no bedside lamp. There is no full length mirror in the property and the lighting is dim in the bathroom.
- Brian (9/5): - Beautiful location. Comfortable accommodation. Bbq needed a clean.
- Patricia (10/5): A magical Australian destination. - The situation of this magnificent place. The road to the property was difficult, but I got used to it after the first day.
- Samantha (10/5): Like a warm hug - On the first evening I saw a wombat and two wallabies which is a real treat for me being from WA! The owner was so helpful for us and the house was immaculate, beds very comfortable and we loved the indoor fire. Best of all, the views and feeling like I was in a piece of rural heaven paradise - please come here and stay - you will absolutely love it - this place feeds the soul
- Anna (9/5): Beautiful, cozy, and relaxing – an ideal retreat! - The cottage is cosy, warm, and full of character. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are super comfy, and there’s so much attention to detail throughout, which made our stay extra special. We loved unwinding by the fireplace, playing Monopoly, and dancing to old vinyl tunes. The absolute highlight was a visit from Mr. Wombat, who lives underneath the house and comes out at night making funny noises. It was such a memorable and relaxing getaway – we couldn’t have asked for more! Nothing
- Liam (10/5): 10/10 views and beautiful cottage stay in Bilpin - We loved the location, cottage and property. Beautiful bathroom and kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans, cutlery and essentials. Amazing views everywhere from cottage master bedroom to the fireplace area. Our only critique was the fireplace fan makes an intense noise and the range hood light didn’t work.
- NASRIN (10/5): -
- Dylon (7/5): Good -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful cottage, excellent for kids with a fence and chickens, cows, goats on the property.
Loved every minute of the stay. Fire pit, heating and coffee machine just a few comforts that made the stay extra specia. Nothing, it was fantastic
- Cassie (10/5): Calm and perfect for small families. - Location. Family friendly. Beautifully styled. Nothing
- Nina (9/5): Lovely, relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney - Location was perfect, nestled amongst nature, peaceful, Trish and Jon were friendly, kind and responsive to our questions, had a visit from their friendly dog and chicken which was exciting. Went fruit picking which was a great experience
- James (10/5): Fantastic/10/10 would recommend. - This place is phenomenal, all the little details; we head away on weekend getaways a few times a year and has taken the chocolates as crowd (family) favourite. It will set hard to beat expectations.
- Anastasiya (10/5): Charming relaxation - The view was exceptional in the morning and charming in the fireplace at night. The place is organised with love and a lot of details to spend a good time there. We arrived later than planned and was not sure about correct navigation - probably it would be better to add description of the road for late arrivals.
- Twiggy24 (9/5): Superb -
- Eleanor (9/5): Stunning views for a birthday getaway in the mountains! - Beautiful views!! It was a little dated but understandable for the cabin in the woods vibe.
- Cheltsea-maye (10/5): AMAZING STAY AT WOOLWAY - My partner, myself and our 2 kiddos stayed at woolway for 2 night and loved every minute of our stay! Couldn’t fault a single thing about our stay.
My daughter loved that there were cows and chicken around in the mornings and evenings.
The property is fenced so young kids can play outside without fear of them wandering off anywhere.
The fire place was a hit as well as the fire pit which we roasted some marshmallows over
Would love to come back to this property again, hopefully for a longer stay next time as 2 nights just didn’t feel long enough Absolutely nothing to note, couldn’t fault the property at all
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Twiggy24 (9/5): Superb - We loved our stay at Woolway. The views and wildlife were beautiful and we loved hanging out with the chickens! We loved everything.
- Rowena (9/5): It was a lovely stay. The place is clean and comfy and we pantry staples as well. ❤️ - Very clean and comfy No signs along the road
- Rosemary (10/5): Beautiful homey spot - It was so lovely and homey, it was just nice to get away from the city and have a cosy fire as a family. A bit of a trek to get to the house - would recommend UTE/SUV/ 4 wheel drive ect type car. Would be a bit bumpy in a sedan / hatch Nothing such a wonderful spot jn Bilpin
- Saher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heidi (7/5): Cute little cottage and very well stocked kitchen. - Beautiful little cottage, and a gorgeous view. It was very peaceful and quiet and away from hustle and bustle. The drive out to the property was quite long and bumpy, the asphalt was all cracked and made it difficult to drive on with a lower clearance vehicle. Also the photos don’t show that you’re right next to a little bunch of houses, even though you don’t see them when you’re inside the cottage, you can hear them every now and then and it doesn’t really advertise that well. Also, the departure instructions are almost rude written up on the wall with all the ‘do this…or else…’.
A little more flexibility or even just humanness to the words would be nice! Makes you feel like you’re just a nuisance, not a welcome guest.
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely historic-style cottage with a beautiful garden and fantastic views of the Blue Mountains. Lots of basics and treats provided for self-catering. Good 4G connectivity and cosy furnishings. Highly recommended.
- Yvonne (9/5): Loved staying here. - If you want serenity and scenery you must stay here. To wake up in the morning with a view over the valley and across to the mountains is amazing. The cottage is a cosy little nook.
- Asith (9/5): Nice stay not far from Sydney - Hosts were very friendly and supportive during our stay. Woolway is having nice sceneries , the walk down the road towards the farm is very exciting
- Hen (9/5): Superb - Woolway is a lovely place with beautiful views. The place was very clean and has everything we needed for a great weekend with the kids. Would highly recommend it!
- Jen (10/5): a wonderful and relaxing getaway - A gorgeous cottage in a gorgeous setting. It is a great place to unwind and sit and read or chat. The kitchen was very well stocked which is amazing as we didn't realise that the closest supermarket was about 20km away. I would have liked to be able to use a washing machine but it's not that important and the beauty of the place and other facilities is outstanding.
- Eileen (10/5): Amazing - We enjoyed every single bit that Woolway provided us, the cottage was fully equipped like a home and the stay brought me so much childhood memories.
Kids enjoyed the firepit for roasting marshmallows, corns and sweet potatoes, and they loved the company of Freddy-owner's dog( Thank you Trish for trusting my kids being around Freddy) It was a nice retreat for myself to embrace nature, clear mind 😉 and prepare myself for more challenges :0 Can't think of any
- Jessica (10/5): Cosy cottage for the whole family - This property is beautiful. Very cosy, clean and in taste with the surrounding area. Owners have gone above and beyond with inclusions of pantry staples, toiletries, books, games, fire wood, everything you need to cook with. You can comfortably walk around the property and get so close to the sunset, feels like you could touch it. Sat around the fire pit for hours with the kids toasting marshmallows. They enjoyed collecting sticks from around the property & chasing some run away chickens around the fenced yard. We loved everything!
- Casey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandr (9/5): Relaxing stay away from city noise. - A nice spacious cabin away from the crowd, yet only 2 hour drive from Sydney CBD. I feel like the hosts went out of their way to stock the cabin with everything they could possibly think of, including emergency food & snacks. Enjoyed BBQ and firepit, as well as the indoor fireplace to the fullest. Plenty of books and some games inside for nice family evenings. Comfy beds, quiet aircon, and well sealed windows to provide for warm nights in the middle of winter. Nice views with Sydney lights far on the horizon. I don't really want to write anything negative here; even if there are things I could think of improving, I just don't have a heart to complain given the attention to detail which the hosts demonstrated.
- Abraxasau (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, we cannot fault a single thing about this accommodation. The hosts are lovely, accommodating and literally think of everthing down to the smallest of details. 100% will be coming back! Nothing! Great views, comfortable facilities and had everything we could need for the whole weekend made available
- Yvette (9/5): Really lovely, well thought out property with wonderful hosts - The hosts were very helpful and approachable. It was clear a lot of thought had been put into the property and hosts were very generous with what was provided. It was very comfortable and perfect for our girls weekend. Bonus having the animals (dogs, cows and chickens) visiting! Nothing. It was all great.
- Murphy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): If you want a place where you can feel miles away from everything but only a short drive to town, this is the place!! - Private, stunning views all around. The local cows watching us prepare food thru the kitchen window and the resident friendly chickens that even came into the house to see what we were up to! What a wonderful way to relax and unwind. Plenty of firewood to collect around the property. Wish we could have stayed longer. we will be back! Nothing
- Maylyn (10/5): Exceptional - Complete amenities, quaint vibe, relaxing atmosphere, and terrific views. None.
- Colleen (9/5): Superb - Location was secluded, quiet and excellent. Record player a bonus :)
- Catherine (10/5): Beautiful cottage stay, amazing views, close to Bilpin - So beautiful - felt really remote (in a good way), even though it was close enough to town. absolutely stunning views. There’s no wifi - but that’s not necessarily a bad thing!
- David (8/5): We loved it. - Beautiful location, deeply refreshing scenery. The road in was quite worn, it was ok but you needed to take your time with it.
- Sharntel (10/5): Highly recommend this property! Simply stunning - This property is simply stunning! beautiful views, romantic cottage set up with everything you’ll need.
- Oscar (8/5): Very good -
- Doris (8/5): Relaxing. - We really loved the outdoor fire pit where we could cook our dinner, enjoy our drinks and chat. The owners left us some staples like eggs, milk and even chocolates! Everything was so neat and clean, you could tell the owners really made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The dirt road leading in had some pot holes that we weren’t prepared for, but once you’re used to it, it was fine.
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fouad (10/5): Exceptional -
