- Stephen (9/5): Cant wait to visit again - Lovely quite rural Location Good facility the Studio and outdoor shower was great. Exceptional fire pit area and plenty of wood. Nice coffee machine and comfortable spacious rooms Nothing
- Cassidy (9/5): Comfortable, big house in a beautiful area. So convenient for everything on the peninsula - The house has brilliant facilities, including a fire pit, cinema room, hammock and really beautiful surroundings.
- Barbara (10/5): Welcome home to comfort fresh air and superb water! - As an ex Peninsula resident I needed a return, a little Peninsula restoration and The Caretakers Cottage was the perfect antidote to the yearning! The Cottage is embracing and comfortable, the setting divine and the unwind real.
- Shannon (9/5): Hosts were fantastic to deal with, we loved our stay - Great size, very puppy friendly, awesome layout and location
- Jarrod (9/5): -

Very private in a rural setting.

- Catherine (9/5): A perfect relaxing cottage to rest and recuperate or to explore the surrounds. - We loved the size of the cottage and its quiet surrounds. The large deck and veranda were fantastic. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. We really liked the large trees providing shade around the property and the birdlife. The bedrooms were a good size and the kitchen had all the crockery and cookware we needed for our stay. There are lots of wineries, olive groves and beaches in the surrounding areas if you want to explore the area. It was perfect for a relaxing break. We had excellent communication with the hosts and would highly recommend. The only suggestions would be some more lighting around the bathroom mirror and the front lounge room.
- Anna Marie (9/5): - Place is perfect for peace and tranquil option with complete amenities. Lovely that our dog was allowed whixh made our family complete during the stay. It's also a quick ride to nearing beaches and restaurants but best to enjoy dining in the lovely wineries nearby. It was a lovely stay altogether! Bit expensive and there was an issue with the remote blind at the outside house.

- pashby (7/5): - We loved the place. Access was easy from the well-maintained dirt road - even after rain. It’s in a beautiful and quiet location. Great for relaxing. To advertise this place as having two bathrooms is misleading. We were two couples and wouldn’t have booked the place had we known one of the bathrooms was outside and effectively unusable. The bathroom configuration should be made clear in the property description.
- Kirsten (10/5): - Pot belly stove kept us warm, we ate in for most of our meals and the kitchen was great with everything you need. The outdoor area was fabulous and comfortable, we even had a visit from a king parrot who I hand fed pistachio nuts!
Instructions were user friendly, firewood provided, we just wish we were there longer as we didn’t get to use fire pit or have a movie night in the studio (which has a fab murphy bed)
- Carmen (10/5): nice and cosy stay! location was amazing, close to cafes and quiet and secluded. will be back! - location, clean and quiet! beds were very comfy -
- Dianne (9/5): Beautiful and quiet cottage to get away from it all. - Beautiful country location. Cosy beautiful cottage. Lovely sunny aspect for cold winter days - we loved using the fire pit and having the pot belly stove on to keep us warm.
- Michaela (9/5): -
- Martin (10/5): Peaceful, private and relaxing - Beautiful location , private, lush surrounds, peaceful and comfortable. Nothing. Was perfect for what we wanted
- Tracey (9/5): Cute house in stunning valley close to Bright - Location, cleanliness, comfortable Not enough firewood
- Esther (10/5): Perfect getaway combining being off the grid with easy accessiblity to action! - We loved that this little property is only an hour drive out of Melbourne but felt we were completely removed from our bustling city life. We were immersed in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees where the only sounds we could hear, aside our own, were of birds going about their business. The beach is only 15-20 munutes drive so the location is accessible to all of what the Peninsula has to offer or you can feel far removed if you prefer. The property is the perfect size for family or few couples and is very charming. We LOVED the outdoor shower and we felt very at home from the moment we drove in. The hosts communicated with us in a timely and friendly manner and we see ourselves returning to this property. The only thing I can fault is that it would be good if there was another toilet in the main house. Whilst there is another bathroom in the studio, having another toilet in the mainhouse would have been ideal. Definitely not a reason to pass up this delightful cottage.
- John (10/5): Cottage Comfort - The cottage was a beautiful and wholesome place to spend a few days just relaxing. Close to everything but far enough away to feel secluded, thanks and enjoy!
- Rebecca (8/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing... fabulous to be with our doggo in a place away from home. - Location was great... facilities great.... comfortable and home like. Especially love that the property was dog friendly and fenced in. Cleaners need a bit of a talking to - cobwebs, dirty rangehood etc....
- James (10/5): Comfiest beds ever amazing place e to stay 😁 - Every cosy great facilities Nothing not to like
- Judy (10/5): Wonderful property with an expansive deck - Wonderful property in a beautiful location. We particularly enjoyed the expansive outdoor deck and fire pit area next to an an olive grove grazed by sheep. Lots of birdlife also. The hosts were great to deal with, accommodating an extra guest at short notice and providing late check-out on request. Flexible bedroom configurations including a self-contained unit, so would work well for a group. We are already planning our return trip.
- Julie (9/5): I would definitely recommend and are planning to stay here again. - The cottage exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, facilities and space. A swimming pool would definitely have made a difference as its was exceptionally hot the weekend of our stay. It was just a little far out.
- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): beautiful place thank you! - beautiful property and location, with enclosed spaces and accommodating pets which is awesome! everything was great in terms of space and provisions so thank you! only issue we found was lots of internal cobwebs and spiders which had been there a while (by the dishwasher, corner of bedroom door etc) we know you can’t avoid spiders but felt like these should have been cleared with the clean so perhaps raise with cleaners.
- Arletta (9/5): A perfect girls getaway - Everything about this property is perfect. The location, the actual home and the sheep that greet you on arrival. Highly recommend this place Nothing!
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible location and cottage.
