Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (10/5): Just excellent! We loved it! - It’s was clean, comfortable, had complimentary coffee which we forgot. Outside seating area was well used as the weather was great! Well kept and had everything! Very comfortable and well equipped
- Nicole (7/5): - Good location
- sarah (8/5): Thanks for a pleasant overnight booking stay - I thought I read there was an oven, but instead it is a microwave oven. On the bright side there was an airfryer, so we used that instead.
- Joanne (9/5): Loved the house, the back deck area, the big backyard for the dog, and Inverloch in general. - Great location and great place to bring your dog. We loved it and so did he. Nothing. Would just say that if you had 6 people staying there, the dining and lounge areas would get a bit cosy, but the outdoor area was a great size and perfect when the weather is good.
- Natalie (10/5): - So comfortable, bed was wonderful. Great location. Easy 10 min walk to town centre.
- Grace (10/5): -
- Jane (8/5): - Outside deck area
- Michael (10/5): -
- Kerryn (8/5): -
- Kristian (10/5): Very clean, no fuss accommodation which suited our family of 3 for 1 night. -
- Youn Jung (10/5): -
- Sheeja (9/5): Lovely little house and perfect for 2 adults with upto 4 kids too! -
- Victoria (10/5): The place was immaculate, all facilities were of a high standard and the booking process was great. - I loved everything about this property. It was a delight to rent. There was Nothing I did not like about the property and house.
- Jacinta (4/5): - We loved the outdoor area and that each room had heating and cooling. There were plenty of utensils in the kitchen for convenience The pillows were awful, half of them were stained and the ones we used felt like they had about 8 feathers in them. The blankets barely covered the queen bed and the mattress was not very comfortable
- Denise (9/5): -
- Astrid (7/5): - Outdoor area. The bed was comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. No wifi included. Very confusing with the bedding.. "bring own pillows and blankets" but spares where in cupboard to use. We came from Darwin. We had no spare beddings.
- Nick (7/5): -
- Paola (10/5): Great little stay, had everything we needed would be happy to return. - Conveniently close to everything, very clean, the little bath tub in the shower was perfect for the little one, had everything we need for a great price. Nothing
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Shing Cheung (6/5): -
- Misa (8/5): -
- Brenda (9/5): - Check-in was easy, especially when we weren't sure what time we would be there. Not far from the shops, beaches, Wonthaggi & Kilcunda. We will definitely look at staying again longer.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Meagan (8/5): -
- Shiplee (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - Very clean, great back yard and deck. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Getting the keys was tricky. No internet. The electric hot plates were tricky to work out.
- Renee (10/5): -
- Katrina (9/5): Lovely cottage and great outdoor space - Cost home with all we needed for a one night stay My only negative was the comment when I asked on day of check-in for the code, I was reminded that my check in time was after 2pm. Considering when driving a long way knowing all you need before you arrive should be acceptable not having to ask for the code. That was not required
- Sevim (8/5): - It provided us with everything we needed at an affordable, family friendly price. We had a great time. The host was very prompt to respond to our questions.
- Michelle (10/5): Loved staying there - Everything. Nothing
- Rika (9/5): Superb - Great house with so many things in the house available like washing powder, all kitchen appliances and enclosed backyard for my dogs The only one thing was an issue was unfortunately the weather which obviously wasn't controllable.
Maybe add scissors to the kitchen utensils.
- Michael (8/5): We enjoyed our time and so did our furbaby. - NA As we are older visitors we found seating a little low, but managed. Also as a suggestion the front door detracts from the pristine state of the property. Jackie’s property manager was terrific as we had problem with the stove and TV
- Rachel (8/5): Nice house for families and friends with lots of backyard space. - A nice little house with 2 bunks (4 beds) in one room and a queen bed in the other. Full kitchen facilities and great outdoor space so would be great for families with kids to run around or friends to hang out. I would have liked some milk provided and some soap for the shower. We were only there 1 night and didn't bring food supplies as we really only came back to the house to sleep, but would have liked a cup of tea with milk etc. Just a couple of little supplies would have been appreciated. About a 1.2 km - 15 minute walk to the beach for those wishing to spend time in town and near the beach.
- Nadia (6/5): It was adequate - The location, the TV's, good heating and cooling, the privacy and quiet Everything in the kitchen could be cleaner.
- Valentina (10/5): A peaceful, spotless and beautifully set up home that gave our family the perfect mini getaway in Inverloch. - We absolutely loved everything about this property! It was hands down the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed—immaculately maintained. The backyard was a standout feature—spacious, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. The layout, decor, and attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was also spot on, close to everything we needed. Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything was perfect for our family’s stay.
- Heath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judy (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - The design of the house, wasn’t inside the house that much. Didn’t realise the combo lock was at the back of the house.
- John (9/5): Comfortable and very clean - Outside entertainment area No storage in bedroom
- Jason (9/5): Cosy, comfortable and convenient. - The place was cosy, well equipped and easy drive to the beach and shops. We knew it didn't have internet, but we felt it's important to have it these days, especially when you have families staying over.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - Well appointed, clean, neat and had a lovely alfresco area for chilling
- Scottishjude (10/5): Perfect property for us. - The property had everything we needed. Really well appointed kitchen. Clean and comfortable. We loved the rear deck. It was the perfect summer evening and we enjoyed being outside having drinks. Easy walk into town. Don’t ever get rid of the mirror in the bathroom! It made us look so slim!! We loved the property
- Lindsay (8/5): I have a very comfortable and pleasant stay - a well presented property with good facilities and large backyard
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Luise (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - We had a ball. Great location and great host!
- Kohli (9/5): Good stay - Very Nice and comfy place .
- Tegan (9/5): Superb -
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional - The out door area was perfect loved the deck that looked out onto the yard, not to far from town and the beach, would defiently stay here again Electric stove was a bit confusing and construction across road witch has nothing to do with property very happy with stay overall
- Patrick (10/5): A great experience, the property was absolutely perfect in its modern features and cleanliness. - The entire experience was flawless, the property had all comforts of home and more. Highly recommend this property. Would have loved two bathrooms.
- Christine (7/5): Convenient - Quiet location, clean facility, very spacious, ideal with a pet No knowing in advance that the host preferred for guest to bring their own pillows and duvets, we are from overseas so do not own our own. There was spare duvets and pillows in the cupboard.
- Chantelle (8/5): Very good -
- Beck (5/5): The minimum but good for a budget family stay with pups - - back yard and deck were great - I prefer bnb’s with ready made beds, wifi, dishwashers, ovens. Wasn’t clear from listing that this was the case. The linen that was there didn’t look or feel clean. I slept under the spare blanket I luckily had in my boot.
- side gate was unlatched and blew open. Dog got out. Check on arrival.
- Emma (7/5): Good - The outdoor deck space, especially with a small dog, proximity to town and the beach, were great! Beds were comfy, and facilities well presented.
Booking and checking, communication were all great! BBQ with no gas changed/ruined our dinner plans 😩
Building sites across the road was super noisy from checkin til we left for the beach at 3pm to escape the dropsaw noise, then bang on 7am on checkout. It was not enjoyable 😑
Byo bedding or use whats there isn't to my taste, but beds were comfy enough. Could use a refreshed set or two of bed linen. I didn't notice this on the booking app and 90% wouldn't have booked had I known this, roadtripping with kids and the dog, I don't want to have to seek out linen in a mishmash linen press and make beds!
- Amrooha (7/5): Good -
- Scott (10/5): Excellent and dog friendly -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Krishna (10/5): Excellent and loved the place - It was exactly as described in images.
Very friendly and positive environment.
Our family loved the place and wanted to visit again. Na
- Shae (9/5): Superb -
- Erin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarah (9/5): My teenage daughter wanted a weekend away where she could bring her dog for her birthday. The prope - The televisions in every room and split system heating/cooling in every room, the outdoor area. If I was staying for longer with the whole family I would probably like an oven and a dishwasher but it did have a convection oven and a great BBQ.
- Sandrah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brook (8/5): Very good -
- Rosheen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Was the absolutely perfect place to stay for a few nights. Super comfortable and clean and just had a really relaxing feel. We will definitely be back again Thanks 😊
- Adrian (9/5): Superb - most things available and working as described strange lack of soap, could have done with a deep clean
- Nicole (8/5): Very good - Well set up, like a home away from home. Good distance from town, quick drive or not more than 15mins walk. Comfortable Outdoor furniture was covered in some sort of fur that set my allergies off.Inside of the fridge needed a wipe down, a between the bed/bed head.
- Chris (10/5): Great place. - Well presented and tidy. Everything we needed. Comfortable and clean
- Mehmet (10/5): Clean and cozy - Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay
- Steven (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ward (8/5): Very good - Very secure for our dog. And well furnished for a pet friendly home Vacuum wasn't on charge so couldn't use it on our departure.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Great home for a weekend stay and all amenities readily available for use. Kids loved the bunk beds.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erin (2/5): Unpleasant- no bedding and hadn't been cleaned - The kitchen is well-stocked with most of what you might need, and the outdoor patio is a lovely place to sit. Inverloch is a very small town so even though the house is on the further side form the town centre, it is still only a few minutes' drive. Linen isn't supplied, which isn't stated explicitly in the listing, and we were only told about it after we had confirmed and paid (non refundable). We had to supply doonas and pillows as well as linen, which does not suite travellers coming through on a road trip or who have flown in. We couldn't cancel after payment so had no choice. We did say we couldn't bring linen so the hosts said they would provide some because they have 'spares' but there were only fitted bed sheets in the house and no top sheets (necessary in a beachy Australian town in Summer), doonas, or adequate blankets (other than a small throw blanket that doesn't cover half your body).
The beds and couch were also full of sand. No doubt a family had been through after some fun-filled days at the beach, but our bedsheets had definitely not been washed on changed because we were sleeping amongst handfuls of sand.
Also, no wifi in an area with terrible phone reception.
Any one of these issues might have just been an inconvenience on their own, but added up to quite an unpleasant stay which is unfortunate because of the beautiful location.
- Phyland (8/5): Very good - Enough space. Loved the back veranda. No oven.
Had difficulty getting the key as we were sent a different key pad code to what the hosts had.. it was easily fixed with a call to the hosts. They did mention they had been having problems with the codes matching recently.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (9/5): Superb -
- Lara (8/5): Very good - The location was central and not too far from town or Wonthaggi. The kitchen was more than functional, and the kids loved that there was a TV in almost every room. It was a great opportunity for everyone to de-toxify from screen time as there was no Wi-Fi. The location was great. The kitchen facilities are brilliant, with a decent-sized backyard in a quiet street. It was also moments from the beach, and despite it raining the entire time (in January), we enjoyed the stay. We had to go down to Big W to buy some cheap doonas and pillowcases, as there was no linen, minus a few very thin doonas with no covers. However, upon second glance, even though the accommodation mentioned nothing about linen under the 'Facilities', it would've been good if it had been noted explicitly in the description.
- Tamara (9/5): great little holiday getaway place, would book again - Excellent property we enjoyed staying here it was so well equipped with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Only had 2 towels for 6 of us staying. And the outdoor area leaked badly when raining so we had to stay inside. Otherwise everything was great it was a clean lovely place just what we needed for our 2 night stay.
- Anthony (7/5): A relaxing break in a beautiful location. - The location was perfect, Walking distance to the heart of town and beaches. The house was clean and was well presented, the kids loved the back patio with the lounge and tv on the wall. We all loved our stay and would come back again. We brought our own blankets as requested by the property owner, everything else was provided, Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable. The bottom bunks were at floor level and the mattresses were way too soft. The main queen bed was on rollers and moved when we moved. New beds would be recommended and get rid of the bunks. The fly screen doors was an issue, we wanted to leave the doors open to let fresh air in but the fly screen doors had a full sheet of Perspex on them. We did open the windows but it would be nice to have the doors open as well.
- 안나 (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (8/5): Very good -
- Baltas (10/5): Exceptional - Outdoor patio was awesome. So was the Weber. No wifi, but not a deal breaker
- Jayasamraj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (9/5): Inverloch property - The outdoor area is a great space with TV, bar, fridge and room for games. Also loved the outdoor fire pit. House is comfortable for a couple and kids. Easy walk to town. Would have liked a top sheet on the bed, but everything else was great for the price.
- Marycard (9/5): Beatifully presented property with everting at your fingertips - Super easy! a secure code and location were sent to me which was fantastic as our arrival tine was quite late. that we didnt have tiime to really enjoy the facilities of the home! It ws literally sleep and shower and back to the track.
