It was basic, like student housing basic, but had everything you need, for a excellent price and location. They had quality kitchenware, only missing a grater. Lack of hooks in shower, to hang clothes and towel. Now that its coming to cooler months, extra/warmer blankets will be needed for the colder nights. kitchen tap was leaking, so bench was constantly wet.

The unit had every you’d need. The shortbread was a lovely touch. We found it to be about 20 min walk to the jetty.

Lounge couch was comfortable Shower - was running like a tap 24/7. Did not turn off. Could be heard all night. Made the bathroom wet. Shower head old. Layout of bathroom was bad. Only 1 toilet and sounds like a freight train at night through pipe work. No photos of bathroom on line. Shower located inside laundry. Bed moved and squeaked constantly. Door handles falling off and don’t close Front door - no closure inside you had to dead lock it each night. Window handles rusted. Unable to close windows - so noisy at night. Bbq - no gas bottle on arrival. Owner did come and provide a gas bottle which was nice. Customer service - felt the owner was quite rude and arrogant, first impressions were bad. No air conditioning in bedrooms! Hot on summer nights. Only not provided with a pedestal fan (very old and loud)

Pleasantly surprised with the amenities, washing powder/liquis,tea bags and milk etc As bedroom and lounge faces main road a blind or nets would be good The outside eating area needed tidying up and cleaning. The BBQ was full of spiders web. As it happens we were only there 2 nights so did not use this facility. It would not stop me booking here again

There was a duel laundry and bathroom basin across the hall. For the level of facilities - this property was over priced

Instead of finding the house keys locked in the dropbox as I was instructed, it was left on the key door and the floor cleaning mop and bucket with dirty water, out by the front screen door. Very unsightly, odd and unwelcoming. Like the cleaner left hurriedly. I also lost communication with the staff on the day of check-out. No replies fr text messages.

- Colin (7/5): - Clean and large bathroom. Tea, Coffee, kitchen had everything that you would need. Plenty of toilet paper, bonus. Easy drive into town. Sheets clean. Parking for car was good. Bed was terrible inthe secondroom, old spring type. 3 nights in it nearly killed me. I expected better. Couldn't get wifi and netflix took a while to get seen to, which is unusual for the price. There are no typed instructions for the gas fire,, wifi, netflix and there should be! Seems the people before us had changed the netflix connection but that should be explained and could be simply done via a document on the coffee table. Screen door is unlockeable.

Really comfy beds! Sofas were comfortable to sit on. It is bright and airy. Plenty of room for our group of four. Everything worked well. A small need for maintenance. The shower leaked quite a bit and the bathroom tap leaked. The roller door needs new wheels to glide smoother and quieter.

- Jessica (9/5): Nice family get away - Fully self contained unit plenty of room for me and my 4 children. The trampoline and trikes were a nice touch. I know I’m being a bit picky, but just a couple of things to note. The hot water wasn’t instant—it was on a boiler system. With so many of us, I had to stagger the showers to avoid running out of hot water. We did run out once, and that’s when I contacted reception and was informed it was a boiler. The bedroom door handles were a bit loose, and unfortunately sometimes they fell off. Also, the weather was quite damp during our stay, so having a dryer would’ve been really helpful. That said, the heaters did a good job of helping with drying clothes and keeping the place warm.

We had a great time perfect for families especially with younger kids as there is plenty of activities. The beds were super comfortable. The location was fantastic! Waking distance to everywhere. The master bedroom had an extra single bed ( that we didn’t need) and the second room had 2 singles. There was a gas fire in the lounge and fan heating in each of the bedrooms. The owners supplied board games too. We were very happy with location - quiet but close to town. I would say 10/10 👍 Nothing

The unit is disability accessible, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could need as well as being well stocked with household items which was really useful. Linen was new and the beds very comfortable. Lovely touch having milk and biscuits left for us on arrival. The owners are wonderful easy to contact and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended the Busselton Holiday Units.
