- Jenny (8/5): - Amazing location. Great sized and well equipped property. Furniture wan't comfortable to relax on. - lounge chairs need to be changed. They look good but are not comfy at all.
- Kenneth (8/5): Excellent Barossa stay - The view was fantastic and nicely in amongst vineyard, surrounded by interesting sculptures. Very comfortable bed, unique shower. Disappointed that winery and restaurant were closed and so could not taste their wine, however very good Italian restaurant very close by.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Leaving
- Teresa (8/5): Great place for a short stay - Quiet and amongst the vines. Had a tennis court. Staff were friendly and very accomodating. While well positioned, it was a bit out and away from everything and required someone to be capable to drive for supplies etc. No nearby night food options that didn’t involve driving.

- Seetal (9/5): Superb - We thoroughly enjoyed staying at 1837. The views of the vineyards and sightings of kangaroos thrilled us. The unit also has all the amenities one may need from a tennis court to wine tasting a few steps away. The unit itself had everything needed to cook a meal. We appreciated that the unit was immaculately cleaned and the strong shower pressure was a huge welcome after a long flight. Nelly was incredibly responsive with any requests. Great stay! There was nothing I didn't like and I specifically booked the place as I wanted somewhere quiet. It does mean that we needed to drive abt 15 mins to get to town which wasn't an issue.
- Kezia (10/5): Lovely 1st wedding anniversary - The scenery was beautiful as was the cottage. Luxurious and comfortable. It was a perfect way to spend our 1st anniversary. TV in room did not work. Remote didn't work.
- Ophelia (10/5): Exceptional -

Keys were in the door. Also greeted on to the property Nothing
- Sharon (9/5): Superb - Beautiful spot. Spotless everything looked brand new. Loved the shower such a surprise. Really can't say there was anything we didn't like. Perhaps some nice local bread and some jam for breakfast ?
- Jem (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable accommodation with exceptional views and surrounds. Wonderful staff too (: - 1837 is the perfect place to stay in the Barossa. The accommodation was much larger than we expected, with a huge living area, outdoor deck with amazing views, and a wonderful spa. The bed is very comfortable. Nelly was so welcoming and helpful during our stay, and Shali in the restaurant was a delight. Would 100% recommend.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kieran (10/5): Lovely weekend away - Great location, had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. staff very accommodating and friendly. Maybe a bit expensive, also furniture while very nice to look at wasn’t very comfortable
- Adrian (9/5): Beautiful location, lovely luxurious cottage but let down in a few areas. - Beautiful location. Experienced beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Needed a more comfortable lounge.
Spa bath leaked water on the bathroom floor.
Toilet seat loose and difficult to make lid stay up.
Unable to get hot water out of kitchen sink.
No instructions for coffee maker or washing machine.
A complimentary bottle of wine and / chocolates would have been a nice touch instead of the small packets of chips and crackers.
Having Citronella burners on the patio to ward off mosquitoes would have been more effective than the one candle.
Wine tasting samples were very miserly.
Not sure about some of the artwork on display but it certainly brightened things up but seemed at odds with the old style displays.
Garden plants overgrown with weeds in places.
Furniture pieces showing signs of wear and tear.

- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous views of vines and the valley. Our cottage was spacious and well equipped. The restaurant was very nice and the staff very accommodating and friendly. The chef made us a special meal as my husband can't eat garlic. Towns and other attractions were all within easy reach. The wineries were pretty good too. Can't think of anything we didn't like,
