Guest Reviews
- Rhiannon (10/5): - Very cosy, like a home. Everything about this beautiful place made us feel welcome. Also, the hosts took so much effort to make us welcome. From the delicious coffee to the tray of breakfast delights in the fridge for us to cook. The house had everything we needed, and it was a beautiful weekend stay. Nothing.
- Rowan (10/5): Beautiful cottage with vineyard views - This would have to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. It was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Everything was emaculately clean with everything you could need provided.
Also dog friendly, ours loved the garden.
It also happens to be right next door to a small friendly winery that is only open on weekends.
Highly recommended. It is too far from our home to visit more often.
- Noel (9/5): -
- Alexandra (10/5): - So homey, welcoming and all the cherished trinkets inside are beautiful. Location is perfect.
- John (10/5): - A beautiful cottage set amongst the grape vines
- John A Holt (10/5): A very delightful home to visit - The home was really very well set up, with so many extras, a full fridge, a delightful garden, with a gazebo to dine in.
The rooms had comfortable beds, the BBQ was used frequently and we would recommend this home to our friends As I use Selleys BBQ wipes at home, that was the only, and very minor item, that I could suggest to improve the home
- Jason (10/5): - Very well presented cottage, comfortable bed. Tranquil, peaceful location yet easy to explore the region.
Great communication leading up to our stay.
- David (10/5): Was a perfect few days in the fab cottage. Lovely to hang out with my sister and husband visiting from the uk. Even the - Location

- Neville (10/5): Peaceful and Plentiful. - Peaceful location a short drive to highlights of Clare Valley. Extraordinarily well equipped for a self-catering short or long stay. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Very generous breakfast provisions. Thick stone walls kept cottage comfortable in summer. Only negative were the bathroom towels, although a good size, they were scratchy.
- Kara (10/5): We had a great stay. Perfect for adults, toddler, and dogs. - Liked that it was cute. Lots of bugs/mosquitos
- Therese (10/5): -
- Colin (9/5): Fantastic B&B with all mod cons. - Location, facilities, the provided food, cleanliness. Surrounds of vines. Nothing really. 2nd bed could be longer.
- Adrienne (10/5): We loved, loved, loved this magical home. - A beautiful & peaceful home surrounded by vineyards and birdsong. Breakfast was fabulous, Dean and Duc were so wonderful and helpful. The kitchen was very well appointed and there were options to dine inside or outside in the garden underneath the big sky. the whole place had a magical energy. I would recommend to all my friends. We didn't stay long enough!!!

The owners attention to detail and the extra provisions to ensure our comfort were amazing! We didn’t book to stay long enough! 2 nights was good but 3 or more would have been better!
- Diana (9/5): - Comfortable beds, wood heater, plenty of breakfast provisions, complimentary wine and port, lovely gardens and scenery. Everything great. Only suggestion is a ramp on big step at end of passage in cottage and maybe a rail too.
- Lynette (10/5): Beautiful cottage, beautiful surroundings - There were ample provisions but we had (as usual) brought sufficient supplies with us We loved everything about D2
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional -

- ____jay (10/5): Gorgeous house, great host - My husband, son, and dog had an absolutely wonderful stay at D2 Waterville! The house is beautiful, there is warmth and coziness that made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The house is spotlessly clean and well-maintained.
The location is vinyard facing, close to everything we needed, with easy access to the charming towns and stunning nearby scenery. Our hosts, Dean and Duc were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. They sent great recommendations prior to our stay and catered for our dietary requirements.
The house was fully equipped with everything we could need, with sustainability features and also dog friendly, which meant we could bring Hamish along without any stress. A considerable amount of care and attention has gone into the house and the gardens.
We can't recommend D2 Waterville enough and are already looking forward to returning!
