• Trish (9/5): Amazing, I will definitely be back! - The location is fantastic! We are always made welcome by the hosts. Plus it is doggie friendly, which is perfect. I wish there was a fence/ gate at the side of house to barracked the back yard part for our dogs.

Also the Candle shop was lovely...Suzanne & Andrew are beautiful hosts.. There was nothing to dislike..

The location is just perfect - very easy walking distance to the cafes, shops and pubs. Do not miss the candle shop! There was nothing not to like!

• Wendy (9/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful old town. - Very comfortable and homey place. Has everything you could need. Close walking distance to local shops and services. The property itself was faultless. Before and after work traffic was a bit noisy but not much you can do about that.

Close to the town with everything in walking distance. There’s not one thing that we didn’t like about this gorgeous little house!

We stayed for a few nights while attending a sporting event in Maitland for our kids. We found this property to be just perfect for us with everything we needed for the weekend! It was in such a lovely quiet area whilst still being nice and close to Maitland. The house is within very easy walking distance of all the little shops in Morpeth (which had everything we needed over the weekend). All of our communications with the property owners were great - they were so extremely helpful and friendly and more than happy to answer any questions we had. The house itself is so well set up with so many thoughtful little touches designed to make the guests stay that bit more comfortable. We would definitely recommend!

Could not be faulted. The accommodation had everything we needed and it was all beautifully presented, homey, comfortable and clean. The location was also great with the main street of Morpeth a short and easy walk away.

• Liza (8/5): Perfect location for walking to every thing Morpeth has to offer - I chose this property knowing Morpeth, knowing where I wanted to walk to and from. The location is brilliant for heading to Morpeth Common, for popping to The Commercial (pub), an easy-flat walk to Swan Street, and down to Queens Park Wharf to walk parallel to the river. Morpeth has a lovely mix of shops and almost all are well worth a browse. I have never escaped Morpeth without spending on clothing, homewares and greeting cards. The property has off street parking and would be extremely easy for all travellers from other parts to find. I was happy with the kitchen, glad to be able to easily prepare meals via a full, working, kitchen (as well as being able to easily reheat any thing purchased locally, or that was delivered). Very good fridge; super important in very hot/humid weather to be able to cool things, and keep perishables AOK. I was really happy to be able to check-in early, after arriving on a train from Sydney, on a very hot day. Only thing on my wish list would have been air-conditioning in the room where the TV was. I can imagine staying at this property again in Winter, and enjoying the back lounge area lots more.

Everything you could need is catered for including the lovely owners leaving fresh bread, milk, snacks and jam. Pet friendly and just a lovely environment Nothing, everything was perfect! I could not have asked for better accommodation. It was neat, clean, tidy and provides everything you could think of you could ever needy
• Andrea (10/5): Elander is a beautiful spot in a perfect location to explore the local town of Morpeth - The finer touches in the house to make it feel like home. Suzanne and Andrew left local sourdough with home made jam and butter as well as other goodies for us upon arrival which was a much anticipated surprise.

The host left generous extras such as farm fresh eggs, sourdough, biscuits….I just wish we were staying for longer so we could really make the most of this special place.
