• Kevin (10/5): Iluka is beautiful and the people there are so friendly. - Excellent location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Wonderful views from all windows The beautiful veranda has no shade. Could not be used most of the day.
• Natalia (9/5): Fantastic Location - Nice big house! - Location of Omaroo is fantastic! We would definitely stay again! Overall a fantastic stay but definitely a few quirks with this house! Walking distance to Pub, Main Street, kids playground and bowls club for Chinese. IGA is also walkable depending how much you need to buy. Enough parking and we managed to get the boat into the parking without too much issues. It was a little tight thought. 5m boat, bigger might be harder depending on turing circle. Well equipped with everything however the frypans are too big for the hotplate which means they don't get hot and have warped. Multiple smaller pans would be a better option in my opinion. Fridge upstairs and downstairs was very handy for the volume of people! Plenty of glasses, cutlery and plates. FYI - the table and chairs for dining is only for 6 people. Kinda silly given that it caters for so many people. We were a family of 9 so had to seat 3 up at the kitchen bench. There's a big sign saying not to move furniture as to not scratch the floor also so didn't brings downstairs table and furniture up. Also only a small supply of toliet paper, dish tablets etc so be sure to bring your own or buy from IGA. No internet, you could bring you own Apple TV and use a hotspot for Netflix etc. Iluka doesn't have Vodaphone internet only Telstra and Optus. Loved the house, nice and big and kitchen well equipped with spatulas, peelers, mashers, etc. Knives were super blunt but a few Sharp ones now as my dad sharpened some for Christmas lunch. We will definitely stay again with our family pending the price is right. There's a few little things that would make this stay even better than it was. - towel hooks on the back of bedroom doors (many people staying means not enough room in bathrooms and towel mix ups). Hooks in bedrooms are cheap and would go a long way! - Aircon is only one per floor in living area and doesn't really make it to the bedrooms. Fans definitely needed or more aircons (master upstairs would be great and queen dungeon downstairs) Upstairs is 3 bedrooms (2 X queen and the bunk room). Queens have ceiling fans, bunk rooms fan was disabled for safety. The bunk room got rather stuffy because I had to keep blinds closed cause of the street lights and couldn't leave windows open because they banged the blinds. Definitely need access to a pedestal fan for this room or a small aircon unit. Downstairs also has 3 bedrooms - 2 queens and then the twin beds with trundle. The only access to the 2nd queen room is via the twin room with trundle, something just to keep in mind. If using trundle you in this room access would be tight to get around. The end queen room was very stuffy although it did have a pedestal fan. No rooms downstairs had ceiling fans. - In the mornings and evenings upstairs had a nice breeze if you opened up the house and windows. However there were no door stops on any door which meant if you forgot to wedge the doors open with a bag or your kids forgot to close it behing them it would slam. Another cheap upgrade would be door stops please! - Overall the place wasn't that clean. Plenty of dust and dirt under beds when we got there, I found glass at the edge of a couch and the glasses under the tv were very dirty and dusty. Downstairs plates etc were gross. Plenty of leaves in downstairs area too before we even got there. - as others have said the front deck is unusable from about 11am until sunset.

• Sharon (8/5): We had a great family long weekend with plenty of space - Great property on the water handy to Everything. Back deck needs a roof the deck is not usable in the afternoon due to the heat.
• Alesha (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location right on the bay. Great for families as it has 2 seperate living areas with a kitchenette downstairs aswell. Nothing it was great.
• Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - great location and lots of space There was no roof over the outside deck which meant that we couldn’t actually sit out there as it was wet in the morning and too hot throughout the day! the house wasn’t overly clean when we first arrived and the downstairs toilet seat was very loose. on the booking.com add it stated that the property contained a private pool which it did not.
• Grant (6/5): Enjoyable - Location is spectacular Grass not mowed. Bins not empty. No information sheet available. Found in a drawer later on and so we missed putting the bin out totally! Toilet seat not attached properly downstairs and the toilet had not been cleaned. Dog hair downstairs on doona cover. Lack of attention to cleaning. For the price we paid we weren’t unhappy just a little disappointed. Thankyou.
