- Rhiannon (8/5): Good place, room for some improvements. - The house was a good size. The bathroom was nice. Beds were comfortable and good quality. The couches were comfortable too. The washing machine and dryer were both in working condition. The kitchen had a good amount of crockery and utensils for us to use. And the stove and oven were in good working order and condition. The AC unit worked well and kept the house cool on the 39°c day! Communication with the owner was good and they were nice. Quickly came to drop off the key when it wasn't there when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay in this place. Please note: we enjoyed our stay and these are just things they could improve upon to make it a great stay. It would be nice if they were able to provide a few more cleaning up things; like a broom, cleaning spray, dishwashing liquid. This would have helped us with keeping things clean. The house seemed like it had been empty for a while, maybe they could have come in and freshened it up. The water was yellow when it first came out, due to not being run through the pipes for a while. There was a DVD player, but it was broken and had no remote. The tv remote also didn't work very well, so we just didn't use them. I was also a bit confused why the security deposit wasn't taken out before we got there, like it said it would in the policy. The on the owner came and checked IDs and then asked for it in cash. They were very happy to do bank transfer rather as we didn't have that much in cash(due to not expecting to have to pay it when we got there), they also were very quick with returning the security deposit.

- Karen (4/5): Committed host, disappointing amenities - The host was very helpful. They responded quickly to messages on Booking.Com and were very accommodating in arranging return via post of items left at the property (despite a disappointing review). The host has indicated they will be addressing the cleanliness issues experienced at the property. Cleanliness of facilities (dirty floors/bins/dishes). Toaster didn't work. Limited kitchen dishes (plastic cups, minimal cutlery). No dishwasher washing tablets/bin bags. No Wifi or Netflix capacity on tv.

- Leanne (3/5): Advertising nothing like what we got - it’s proximity to the Box Hill Hospital Advertising stated parking yet all but one spot was permit parking, stated 5 beds but there were only 3. Dryer and Fireplace didn’t work at all. Dirty floors, blinds, rangehood covers, dirty mop and bucket of dirty water left by someone else in laundry, overgrown yard so pathway access non existent, water pressure in bathroom not good and used bits of soap bars in the drawers from previous renters. rusted cookware and next to no cutlery, dish drainer had no place to go except bench, dirty tea towels to use in kitchen, under seat of toilet not cleaned
- Elle (5/5): average, wouldn’t stay again - Lots of space, new bathroom & kitchen, drive way cleanliness, old used bars of soap left on the side in the bathroom as well as drawers full of used soap, dirty dining chairs, windowsills dusty, no dressing cushions in lounge, tumble dryer didn’t work, garden very over grown
- Ian (3/5): basic stay in dilapidated, unclean and worn out property. low cost but basically not worth the money. - not much this property is very tired and is desperately in need of restoration. kitchen tap swings through 180 degrees and is very hard to operate without squirting all over you. bedding is tied and on last legs. the toilet and cistern should have been replaced ten years ago. the TV is hard to use and difficult to fine channels. the wifi while it would connect wasn’t able to down load even simple emails so much so that our group didn’t bother with it. the bat was left in a very dirty condition and there was hair left in the bathroom basin. the door locks we loose and difficult to use. kitchen oven had been used by previous tenants and trays covered with dirty backed on food. Oven is gas and we had to purchase a new gas lighter because the one provided wouldn’t work.

- Darren (8/5): Very good - The fact we had the whole place to ourself, and that it had all the main necessary items of a functioning house, IE washing machine, fridge, cooking facilities dinning area bathroom etc Our booking stated we would have access to lock up enclosed parking, however on arrival we discovered the advertised lock up parking was being used as storage. We drove a brand new $120,000 car to Melbourne only to have to leave it unsecured and in the weather which was quite disappointing. Also the advertised photos of the property were not the same as what the property actually looks like inside or out.
