Guest Reviews
- Lynette (6/5): - No breakfast was supplied and tgere was no milk for tea or coffee
- Charlie (6/5): Cheap accomodation in a great location - This is budget accomodation. A place to sleep in a good location. It’s budget accomodation so things all round aren’t in the best of condition.
Pictures need updating.
- Katie (8/5): Great budget accomodation with everything at your door step - Close to all needed locations and great value for money Property was fine no faults for budget accomodation within walking distance to everything
- Candice (7/5): Comfy and adequate for a quick stop over stay. Great area outside for the young ones to play. - Close walk to food, shops and the beach Taps were very worn out and dripped a lot after use
- Patricia (1/5): Surprising, but really great at the same time - The location.
It was clean I am writing to formally request a refund following our stay, as the property did not meet expected standards.
The furniture did not match and appeared inconsistent throughout. Several blinds were broken, missing, or mismatched, which affected both the privacy and the overall condition of the property. One of the couches in the living room was damaged and not fit for use.
The shower had a visible rusty crack, which raised concerns about hygiene and maintenance. The WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable.
In addition, there was only one plug socket in the bedroom, located far from the bed. This was particularly problematic as my husband requires a CPAP machine overnight to support his breathing, and this setup made it very difficult to use safely.
Given these issues, I do not feel the property was as described or of an acceptable standard. I would therefore appreciate a refund or appropriate compensation. I look forward to your response.

- Valerie (7/5): Top Location, affordable - Perfect location
Owners quick to respond and attend in person
Comfortable Sand fleas outside and inside
Air con needed to be a larger capacity, ok but it did struggle
- Lodwick (4/5): - This is not something I like it's just you always about staff but most of these properties you don't see anyone. You get a code to get your key. Dated and tired property. In dire need of updating. Not good value for money as it is now.
- Twan (6/5): Rustig, gedateerd, goede ligging - Ligging, ruimte, alles was aanwezig , schoon Oud, gedateerd, mieren, moet echt opgeknapt worden
- Tania (7/5): -
- Carly (2/5): not recommended - only the location and the blanket they had for the beds very old house with a tiny bathroom, i even slipped and fell. overall don’t recommend

- Ashby (10/5): - Awesome location, clean, comfortable, great access
- Eugene (7/5): Good spot for a few nights in Jurien - Reasonably priced place with a couple of bedrooms Nothing. All was fine.
- BOTAO (9/5): 很好 - 位置好,海边很近,很合适度假 正好告诉客人早上花园会淋水,我晚上晾外面的衣服全湿了
- Rebecca (9/5): - We loved the location and big back yard and the short walk to the beach and cafes.

- mohammad (7/5): - Big back yard..walking distance from jetty..
Bit old but for one night it’s fine for us..
- Soo (7/5): Very basic accommodation but excellent value. - Central location. Very affordable. Basic house with adequate facilities. Reverse cycle a/c. Communal laundry. BBQ was dirty, and communal BBQ was rusted. No fry pan.
- Jane Perkin (8/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): - Close to shops, restaurants, cafes and playground and it felt like a home and not a hotel Just that the weather was bad
- Lawrence (9/5): -

Bed was comfortable
Very basic, but suited our needs
- Anouk (8/5): - The owners were very kind! We were on the night bus and they let us stay in the cabin the entire day for a small fee! It was a very comfortable stay and the cabin was spacious!
- Matthew (8/5): - Easy to find
Comfortable Bedroom a little bit cold. Good heating in main room
WiFi not working, contacted owner confirmed not working but no suggestions to help with things that required it
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Glenda (8/5): Very good -
- Beryl-lu (9/5): Old but clean cottage with all the basics - Very central location, walking distance from every thing. N/A
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Gillian (7/5): Perfect for a one night stop. - Price was great for a quick one night stay.
Old but clean & had everything we needed.
Having a full size fridge & freezer was handy. Bed is getting old.
- Christine (9/5): Great stay for our road trip upto Exmouth. Great casual accommodation and good value for money - Great location. Good beach shack vibe which we liked. fantastic back yard if we had our grandkids there they would have loved it. across the road from the shops and tavern and easy walk to the jetty and beach. We would definately stay here again. only gripe was there was no where to put our soap in the shower recess otherwise all good.
- Megan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Picks (10/5): Great stay - Fantastic It was clean a satisfied.
- Monique (7/5): Dated, but clean. It would suit a family staying a few days or people wanting budget accomodation. - It was close to the jetty and quiet. It was clean and would be good for a family staying for a few days. Easy access and room for multiple cars or vehicles. The WIFI password did not work.
- Antonia (3/5): Great location but needs some TLC - Great location. Was near to everything. Bars, restaurants, shops, activities etc Very run down. Broken blinds, broken flooring, WiFi not working.
- Mary (7/5): Good -
- Steviecoil (10/5): Exceptional - Clean dog friendly cottage. Lots of space and walking distance to local facilities.
- Colin (3/5): It was well equipped and clean but expect a floor that is below par and a hot box . Good location. - Good space, it was clean and quite well equipped. Good location. It was quiet The floor - cheap, lifting, lino planks made a poor first impression as did the lack of curtains and very small air con to try to cope with the heat.
- Joel (8/5): Very good - If you love Perth 90s mock Tuscan architecture then you will hate this cottage. This is what a beach house should be: simple, honest and comfortable with no pretence. It was a real nostalgia trip to beachside holidays in my childhood. Fibro walls, lino floors, just what you need for a relaxing stop on the coast. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfortable, the shower had plenty of pressure and the wifi good (OK, wifi is not from my childhood). The furniture would be at home in the local charity shop. There was a split system air conditioner in the shared space. We couldn't open the front door and it would have been nice to get a cross breeze through the living space.
- Darren (7/5): Pleasant stay and very affordable - Location was great
- Carol (8/5): Dog friendly - Great dog friendly accomodstion in the centre of Jurien.
- Katherine (10/5): Pleasant stay, hassle free booking and check-in - Very clean, great location, huge lawn area, fully functional beach cottage with plenty of access for those with boats or multiple cars. No fuss to collect keys as the lock box is at the door and they email you the code well in advance. Also had a handy patio with table/chairs and a big BBQ. Highly recommend 👌
- Alessandra (10/5): EXTRA GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY! - the house is much more than what you pay for.
so it is not a villa, of course! But you can accommodate up to 6 people!
this is such a good price.
we were only 1 couple, but we enjoyed to have one room to sleep and one separate one to watch tv and a little kitchen.
the wifi was working for normal things like instagram and whatsapp but not tried to work. it is true what is said in other reviews that not all the windows lock and the some blineders are missing. i don't think it is something i would not take the house for though. still.... these are easy fixes for the property owner :D Also... netflix was blocked on the tv :D the manager tried to help but I think it is centrally locked the possibility to access. Said that, we watched normal cable TV! Not a biggie for 1 night
- Jessica (7/5): Good - The location was perfect. There was tons of space at the property. Enough amenities to cook your own food. Tons of outdoor space. A place to do laundry. It wasn't that clean in some areas. Lots of ants in the bathroom. Most of the shades were broken so you could see inside the cottage at all times. As a solo traveler, that made me really uncomfortable. The couch cover had stains on it and some holes. Probably due to the person before me and the trash schedule, but the garbage outside smelled so bad in the cans that I couldn't sit at the table outside for long.
- Guy (7/5): A perfectly satisfactory stay for a week - Location excellent. A short walk to the beach and a very well-stocked IGA 5 minutes walk away as well as a post office and petrol. An easy drive north to Green Head and south to Cervantes. Despite the proximity to the main road noise was not a problem since the unit is set well back. The internet was fast and reliable. The cooking facilities were adequate for the job. Copious amounts of (very!) hot water in the shower. We slept extremely well - the main bed was very comfortable. The extra bedroom (bunks and two beds) provided useful space two people; had we brought a family it would have been very tight for anything longer than a night or two. I think it's fair to say the place is pretty tired looking. That mostly didn't bother us but might disappoint some. The shower fitting could definitely do with a revamp since the base is cracked and has an ugly rust streak. Several window screens are damaged or non-functional which in the evening or at night wasn't great. A bed sidelight would have been an enormous advantage as would a dustpan (since sand inevitably gets in but it was very hard to clean up). I'd advise guests to bring additional cleaning products/cloths since the provision was minimal (perhaps because of theft), and also salt and pepper. These are all relatively trivial considerations but collectively they would have enhanced the stay by a good margin.
- Glen (5/5): Passable -
- Misa (9/5): Superb -
- 민서 (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (5/5): Passable - Place needs a facelift. Very old but clean
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (9/5): Superb -
- Reed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jemma (8/5): Very good -
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb - It was close to beach and shop. It was great having bbq. If my friend wit walking frame had come as intended she wouldnt have been able to step down and up out if shower. Also all the loose lino strips o floors would have been a big trip hazard for her. The double bed not that comfy
- Jocelyn (5/5): Passable -
- Karaq (7/5): Good -
- Joan (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (5/5): Passable - Good hot water Floor not clean.
- Cynthia (7/5): It was quite adequate for an overnight stay but would look for other accommodation if our stay was longer. - Property was situated in a handy location with shops nearby. It had a large backyard as well as the accommodation itself. It could’ve done with more power points at a higher level considering older people like ourselves. A lamp by the beds would have been more convenient. There was no cupboard or mirrors in the master bedroom.
- Jenny (8/5): The Cray Pot - Close to everything we needed.
Comfy and clean.
Definitely stay again.
- Scott (9/5): Superb - Will be honest. Was great location. Just need maintenance like better clearance on doors as they were scrubbing. General cleanliness ]
- John (8/5): Very good, but could of been longer -
- Sonya (8/5): Very good -
- Valerie (9/5): We will be back - We have stayed at the property quite a few times & excellent value for money
- Deanne (8/5): Exactly what they said clean and great stay - Brilliant location and could have dogs
Recommend highly
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Lyndal (8/5): Great location, and very clean -
- Patrick (7/5): Good - Large accommodation capable of sleeping 6
Kitchen with stovetop, oven, microwave, fridge, etc.
BBQ outside (I didn't check as to its standard)
Split AC/Heater to get the place nice and warm
Parking to side of house/near rear door Could do with some renovations - appeared to have slight ? mould around upper corners of some rooms. - but not a major issue. Beds etc were clean
Blinds in the kitchen/living room were missing 2 flaps each from the end so you couldn't fully cover the window to obscure people looking in at night. The bedroom did have curtains so you could cover that window- owner could perhaps invest in curtains for the living room also.
- Melisa (10/5): Peace in Paradise. - Clean / easy to find / amazing location. The fact I had to leave was devastating. Epic little trip, no complaints!
- Matthew (9/5): Very nice stop over - Location was great
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kaylene (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharon (6/5): Pleasant - It had most of the basic requirements, the shower was hot and water pressure was good. A microwave would have made it perfect. We were working all day and had brought "heat and eat" meals, so that we weren't having to prepare after long days.
- Poh (8/5): Very good - Good wifi Slightly old facility
- Robinson (9/5): Superb - Close to everything. Comfortable, clean ,reminded me of holidays when I was a kid. Comfortable clean great location and price.
- Meagan (8/5): Very good -
- Lee (7/5): Great location -
- Stephanie (7/5): Good -
- Helen (9/5): Everything perfect for us. Will be recommending this property. - I loved the fully furnished rooms, the beautifully tended to gardens and lawns.
The managers where so friendly and asked if there was anything we needed for our stay.
A very warm couple. Everything was better than we expected .
- Marie (7/5): Stay was good - Location Badly in need of repairs and up dating. Mattress dipped in the middle.
- Brenda (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (7/5): Good - Water pressure, heat and height of shower was excellent. Convenient location. Beds werent very comfortable, no safety railing on the bunk bed. Floors could have been cleaner. Ants in the kitchen sink.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (8/5): Lovely location, clean, comfortable budget accommodation. -
