• Wendy (8/5): Perfect place to stay for a beach holiday . - Beautifully set up beach house with delightful decor, well appointed. Perfect location to park up and walk everywhere in and around Kingscliff. Spacious and well presented. Bed configuration. It was advertised as having 2x double bed bedrooms, another bedroom with double bed and single bed then another bedroom set up with 2 single beds. We were expecting two single beds in one room but instead there was only one single in that bedroom. With the configuration of our family someone had to sleep on the couch.

• Helen (10/5): Very comfortable, well equipped house close to the beach - The house was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The house is located across the road from a park that is adjacent to the beach. There was a lot of road noise when the folding doors to the verandah overlooking the park were open. There were only glimpses of the ocean from the house due to tall vegetation.
• Sarah (10/5): Perfect place for a group. - Beautifully decorated and perfectly located. Excellent utensils and appliances in kitchen. Lovely view even with very cloudy weather. We kept tripping on the little sloped step in the living room from the kitchen. But really this is minor.

• Katherine (9/5): Fabulous location - The location of the property is fabulous. A short walk to restaurants, bars and cafes. Plenty of room for eight of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. I’m being really picky here. The change in floor level tripped us all up a few times. The bathroom door lock was temperamental. The shutters look amazing but we’re not great at keeping out the early morning sun.

• Beanne (7/5): A little disappointing - Beautiful house and location!! There were a few housekeeping issues that were addressed immediately by the agent. The place needed some TLC by the owners in regards to the mould/mustiness downstairs, exhaust fans and outdoor area. My daughter and I couldn’t sleep there or spend time in that area because of our allergies. Lucky we live in Kingscliff and could sleep at home, but it was a shame we couldn’t spend more quality time with our family. Paul and Jess were amazing, they listened and handled our complaint like true professionals. We may not stay there again but wouldn’t hesitate in doing business with LJ Hooker Kingscliff in the future. The fact we couldn’t utilise the lower level of the house.
• Kerry-anne (9/5): Loved the renovations! We were very happy with most aspects of this property. Will return if the opportunity arises. - Location, location, location! Really liked the outlook from the front verandah, comfortable bedding, cleanliness, well-appointed bathrooms, variety of kitchen equipment, inclusion of pantry necessities (and then some!), spacious outdoor BBQ and dining area, pet-friendly zone, street parking availability. We were a group of four seniors and didn’t have children with us but I noted that there were many board games, books and sand toys provided. 1. Change in floor level between living room and kitchen has been addressed with a sloping floorboard and non-slip tape. This works for most guests but was a problem for our seniors. (We resorted to putting a light-coloured towel down on the floor to bring attention to the change in level. It worked!) Perhaps the sloping floorboard could be painted a lighter colour or using a brighter non-slip tape would solve this problem. 2. We were very disappointed to find ON ARRIVAL that our dog had to stay outside the house (particularly because we had rain for much of our stay). This condition was not mentioned in the listing. 3. The gates could not be closed if you parked in the driveway. (Perhaps we should have brought a Mini!) Our dog could then access the busy road. Fortunately we were staying mid-week and street parking was usually available.

• Jennifer (8/5): house was well equiped for large groups, furnishings were nice, beds comfy and enjoyed the balcony space. - good location, nice outlook, comfy beds, lots of room little dusty, curtains to balcony needed a clean had some mould. gates were challenging to open and close as not aligned and not completely fixed to post.

• Tegan (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing beachside family getaway. - Beautiful boho beach shack aesthetic. Recently renovated with all new modern facilities. Two huge living areas. Comfortable beds Bedroom sizes were manageable but not ideal (some were huge, some tiny).
