• Adrian (9/5): We had an excellent stay, very clean. - Location was really good, close to everything one would need, very clean, temperature was nice when we arrived. I would probably add a coffee table in the living area, add a shelf for personal items in the downstairs shower. Also some cleaning tools/detergent for cleaning the barbeque. I would add a dishwashing liquid for sink washing (for a cup or a spoon). And some extra rubbish bags. But these are just minor hiccups, I'm sure. This is for unit 5.

• Lisa (6/5): Amazing family weekend. - Great location. Beautiful view. There was nowhere to hang up towels after use. There was only rings for hand towels. Our towels remained damp making showering unpleasant The fry pan was tiny. As a 4 person property, it was impossible to cook using the pan. This meant cooking in batches and not being able to eat as a family.

Wifi service was not up to scratch despite owner/manager trying his best. Needs upgrading to improve throughput and reliability.

• Vanessa (9/5): Perfect Location Lovely House - The location is Perfect, close walking distance to shops and the beach. Nice clean modern townhouse. We were in the 3bed, 2bath 2 lounge room house which was extremely spacious for 4 adults and the views from the top lounge room 👌👍 Easy keyless entry/exit. WI-FI weak, don't rely on it. used our mobile data for everything including the TV to watch Netflix. No blinds in lounge/kitchen room wouldn't mind much if no-one could see in and the sun in the morning as beautiful as it was would be nice to shade the room if needed to. All the Beds were too hard for us we prefer a slightly softer mattress, maybe an option of mattress topper would have been a lovely addition.

• Dominique (7/5): Thw property was close to everything within walking distance . - The property was great close walking distance to everything port Arlington has to offer . Barbecue was dirty and rusted on arrival. Not enough glasses cups and towels which the property sleeps up to 6 The owner called in a passive aggressive manor regarding the over spill of the barbecue and the place mats that cleaners should have found easy if they cleaned the pantry out . We had a positive stay until the owner called me the day after stay . I would highly recommend you double check everything and take photos as you will be blamed for everything that was not serviced by cleaners or last tenants Really disappointing after we work so hard for our family holiday . I would recommend that the owner have a Manuel for barbecue regarding drip tray and the Mat that was supposed to be under the barbecue that wasn’t under the barbecue . Also tv in main bedroom would not work . I am extremely upset over the phone call from the owner . He could have approached it a better manner we were basically accused of stealing the place mats with a condescending rude manner about the barbecue including asking me why I come and stay at port Arlington . Privacy is important and questions like I’m on his payroll was not needed . I book so many holidays on booking .com and this in 5 years is the first bad experience .

Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults wasn’t quite enough- had to purchase some more. No extra blankets if needed for the bed. Needed some blinds on the large windows as couldn’t see the TV or each other at times.

• Brian (8/5): The actual location of the property to local facilities and quick access to local sites was great. - The location and access to the local area/facilities was great, very spacious living area an bedrooms was great. The 3 levels of stairs is not conducive for elderly who have mobility issues, travelled with an 83 yr old who struggled with the stairs - please ensure website/booking agency provides this information upfront to allow informed decision making when booking accommodation. Downstairs bathroom needs a shower caddy and shower bases are slippery and unsafe, dooners were way too heavy/warm, would have been nice to have access alternative/lighter bedding. Was hard to watch TV due to sunlight coming through large windows, window coverings would help.

It would have been good if Waterline had a child gate at the stairs to prevent minors from falling or using the stairs. Also, a fly screen to the sliding door would be handy to prevent flies entering the building.
• Lee (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent, easy walk to everything Portarlington has to offer, and the hosts very responsive, warm and very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean. Minimally decorated e.g. no cushions on couches etc. The crockery, plates, glassware etc were all miss matching and quite scarce for the 4 of us.

• Laura (10/5): Lovely property - A really lovely property. Ideal location very close to Portarlington main high street. We stayed here for our last two nights in the town to be near family. Lovely and clean and good facilities. Would definitely recommend. If we ever make it back to Australia again I'd look this one up.
