Guest Reviews
- Gabrielle (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay! Will definitely be back.
- Tansukawat (10/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): - The property was set in a beautiful location
- Glenda (8/5): - The location and setting. The very beautiful home. It had a lovely, welcoming feel to it. There was not enough toilet paper supplied. We also would have liked a face washer and possibly hand towel for each person booked.
- Carla (10/5): - A gorgeous, spacious building, with lots of period details, and plenty of room for all of us!
- Lynda (9/5): -
- Mary (8/5): - Would have been nice to have milk
- Mark (10/5): Love the place and will return again. - Stunning property, great communication with owners. 2nd time we've stayed, it's just so relaxing and comfortable.
- Joe (7/5): Lovely old homestead house, with great amenities. A few minor issues to be expected with an old home - It's a beautiful old home. Large bedrooms, open living space, very nice. Great grounds, directions were clear and easy to find. It was a little run down. Some powerpoints didn't work, the toaster had a broken handle and was difficult to use, quite a few of the blinds were off their runners or had broken hooks. Was disappointed there wasn't enough toilet paper for our three night stay and we had to go to the shop to get more.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous country homestead - great for our family catch-up! Beautiful spot to unwind - wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back!
- Blake (10/5): a relaxing and beautiful stay - highly recommend - the most amazing and unique property - suited our extended family of 6 adults and 4 kids perfectly.
the grounds are absolutely stunning - picnics under the trees were just perfect
- Marie (9/5): Charming and would stay again - A lovely home and very comfortable in a great location The fact that you had to walk through two bedrooms to get to the upstairs bathroom. Clarification of this point would have been helpful.
- Danny (10/5): Sshhh, tell no-one. This place is a gem đ. - This is a beautiful old building in a gorgeous location. It is comfortable and welcoming and delivers immediate relaxation.
- Klaas (8/5): Very good -
- Saman (8/5): Very good -
- Katheryn (10/5): We had such a great stay at Clayfield such a pretty place, very clean and spacious. Beautiful fire place with plenty of - This property is absolutely magical and great location to Launceston and lots of tourist attractions.
- Lovell (10/5): Enjoyed every minute at the property and so did my family, we will be returning again soon. - I loved the house and the gardens, could have easily stayed there for longer. If bathroom downstairs had an wheelchair accessible shower this would have set this house up for the best place for our family to stay.
- Rowan (9/5): Great stay. Highly recommend. - Comfortable historical building that can sleep a large group. The gardens are beautifully cared for. Privacy and nature. Convenient to Launceston and surrounding attractions. Wifi and amenities served well. 3 toilets 2 bathrooms and laundry was handy for a long stay with a large group who keep different hours. The house is very adaptable with lounging and sleeping areas abundant. Outdoor firepit and wood got great use. Loved the bean bags and furnishings. Coffee pod machine was fine but the coffee snobs amongst us would have really enjoyed an expresso machine with in built grinder. Some commented that they were used to a top sheet on beds and found the covered doonas / duvets a bit hot.
- Mantle (9/5): An Amazing house with all you need, plus accommodation for multiple guests. Loved the Garden - The House has a lovely feel to it, the space in the lower level was amazing and well setup and decorated. The booking says 5 bedrooms when in fact it's not its 4, the upstairs room was connected to the other without a door, so the snoring person kept the others awake. Had I known it was a joined room a would have been able to warn the people.
- Kerry (7/5): We did have a lovely time with our family. Itâs just the negative things were noticeable by all. - Breakfast is not provided with this accommodation. The house and gardens and surrounds are beautiful. The set up and furniture is lovely. Plenty of room.
A bag of chocolate raspberries left was a nice touch. There was no heating in the bathroom or anywhere else downstairs except for fireplace. Bedrooms werenât. affected and were warm. Mattresses need upgrading as do pillows. Dislike no top sheets. I understand this is a European custom which I donât mind at all if everything in a cotton or blend not a velvety material. I think when you are paying an upmarket price provisions could be a bit more generous. It needs to have some cleaning products in the cupboard.
- Debra (8/5): Very good -
