- Reisa72 (8/5): ILUKA is always the perfect place to relax and enjoy the serenity.. - The location was perfect right near the boat ramp and ferry. There is a cafe nearby the ferry that is also open for dinner certain nights of the week. The food at this cafe was amazing. However, the service is way too slow, so if you just be a bit patient it's worth the while. The bakeries, and other cafes have lots of yummy food too. We loved the Sunday markets, and the Tomato Lady with all her fresh fruit and vegetable market in the main street. She was there with her fresh produce everyday near the CWA gift shop. There were lots of wildlife and SeaLife seen on this trip. For example, Eels, solider crabs, fish, dolphins, a Mermaid :) Kangaroos, and many different kinds of birds, including some baby plovers with their mums and a pelican. There were no fans in some rooms. Then in other rooms the fans were quite noisy and wabbled vigorously (so avoided using them altogether). Some doors and windows were locked (screwed in), and the bistro blinds screwed down, so as a result couldn't open them up wide enough to get the benefit of the beautiful afternoon breezes. This made for some very sweaty and sleepless nights.
- Anonymous (9/5): Lovely house for a large group. - Plenty of room for everyone, lots of different places to hang out with a large group. All appliances required were available. Lovely facilities all around. Would be good if linen was supplied. There was no hand towels or hand soap supplied. It’s difficult to travel with all these items when flying.
- Kylie (9/5): ilukaholic is a spacious place in a great place in a quiet, convenient location. I would thoroughly recommend it. - The location was excellent, within walking distance of the town centre, the river & ferry wharf.
It was very spacious. Could have done with a tea pot & dustpan & brush. Also, it would be worth mentioning taking tea towels/hand towel as well as linen.
