• Wendy (9/5): Small but comfortable - Extremely clean, bright accommodation in a peaceful location. The Cottage is narrow but the rooms have been very thoughtfully positioned Comfortable bed and lounge area with many extra little touches. The flowers were beautiful and the biscuits delicious, thank you As the rooms are small, furniture and accessories need to be kept to a minimum. There is an unnecessary chair in the lounge and the baskets could all be removed from the bathroom area - store the toilet rolls in the cupboard. There is nowhere to place belongings in this area

• Paul (8/5): Overall very good - Quiet & private We actually thought we were located right on the edge of Moana beachfront. Maybe fortunately on this occasion as the beach was not suitable for swimming or walking due to possible algal bloom (absolutely no fault of accommodation providers)
• Susan (9/5): - Cleanliness of unit. The bathroom body wash and shampoo and kitchen coffee and tea supplies plentiful and homemade biscuits were yummy. The fresh flowers and plants made unit feel homely too. Quiet location. Key collection very easy. I missed at booking time. I noticed on invoice there was a cleaning fee $60 My days in tourism cleaning was not a separate item. So usually avoid accommodation that charge a cleaning fee above accommodation rate.
• Barb (9/5): Great, good value, great location for our purposes, excellent communication from the time of booking - The location suited the purpose of our trip. We were not in the place for very long and it would suit anyone who was out and about and utilised the accommodation as a base. The owners were really helpful and handy to the property - one issue was resolved with diligence, humour, and good faith. Everything we needed was supplied, including heating already switched on for our late arrival. Beautiful biscuits were a lovely welcoming touch. For a couple, it would be perfect. There were two of us, and the fold-out bed, although comfortable and functional, took up all of the sitting room where the tv was. It was a crawling effort to find the power points. It was not an issue, but this is the only thing I could think of to write in this section.

• Tracey (10/5): Excellent! - A very private lovely 1 bedroom which had everything we needed to meet the comforts of home. We stayed 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in nearby McLaren Vale. It was very quiet, comfortable and very clean. Loved the homemade cookies made by the owner also, thank you. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Only thing would be there was no lighting on the path when we arrived back after the wedding. Easy fixed when my other half put the torch on his phone on as it is a bit of a walk to the unit from the car park.

Every detail has been covered, , even down to fresh cut flowers and the most delicious home made cookies. As we stayed quite a few nights the lovely host messaged and bought over some freshly made cookies a few days into our stay, Was so peaceful and relaxing and you could hear the waves. Will definitely stay again .

• Pridham (10/5): Moana Weekend Getaway - will recomend - How secluded and private it was, cabin set up was amazing, very clean, cosy and quiet. Basically had everything we needed supplied for ( even though I brang most our own stuff as usually most places leave very basics). Will def come back again, we usually stay in caravan parks etc but we just so happen to find this place on the dates we needed, and so glad we did. Thank you ☺️ Wont say didn't like, but maybe take the globe out the exit sign, ( but that is nothing major, ) just bright of a night time. The bed we found the mattress to be rather firm, but again, that's not a negative, still got a decent sleep lol Really no complaints, we had the much needed break we needed, very relaxed and we loved it.

Body wash & shampoo/conditioner supplied. Shopping centre, laundromat, pub and take away meals close by. Beach short walk away. Lovely touches by Sabine with cookies, flowers, herbs and chillies from her garden. No laundry. Soap/toiletry holder needed in shower. Few more hooks or towel rails needed. Exit sign too bright overnight. Bed extra firm. Bit of a walk from car park to unit on gravel path with luggage.

• Rachael (10/5): Cosy coastal cottage hide away. - Sabine's guest home is a quiet cosy cottage tucked away, within close proximity to Moana beach and surrounds. The garden and access are secure and sound, awesome if you have a small family, and all round a cute, neat, comfortable property to stay. Home-made lemon cookies are yummy too. • Tracey (10/5): A hidden gem! - The location was brilliant. You could see and hear the ocean. Information about the accommodation was clear and welcoming. The provisions were homely and ample, especially kitchen equipment. The welcome bickies and flowers were a lovely touch. There is a bit of a walk from the car space to the accommodation on a gravel path. Not a major issue but worth knowing if you have heavy bags or a mobility issue.
• Jayne (9/5): Safe and sound Moana stay - The location and facilities were ideal. A short walk to the beach and around Moana. A very comfortable, warm, and quiet stay with a fantastic shower. The kitchen was very clean with everything you need. The owners were quick in responding to queries. Highly recommend. There was not enough window cover in the bedroom making sleeping difficult without an eye mask which I didn't have. I needed to use throw rugs to cover the curtains and pulled down the outside blinds with no luck. The back neighbour had their outside light on all night for both nights which made it worse, plus the bright safety exit light just outside the bedroom sliding door. I recommend the owners add some light blocking curtains.

They have supplied everything including the first aid, make up cleaning wipes, face towels, tea , coffee and milk. Couple of cooking ingredients. Ample space to walk around and hang out. Enough garden chairs. Laundry lines. The home made cookies were delicious Washing machine wasn’t available but can’t grumble.😄the host volunteer to do the washing.

It was more than spotlessly clean and very well maintained in every detail. Fresh flowers and scattered frangipani in the comfortable rooms. Homemade baked cakes as a welcome. Gravel pathway. Everything else more than satisfactory. Pleasant stay.
• Joanne (10/5): Peaceful escape close to stunning sunsets on the beach. - As soon as I started walking down the path into the beautiful gardens it was so peaceful and calming and after a long day of travelling it felt like my whole body did a big sigh like now I can switch off and relax. Inside everything had been thought about and it was all clean and just what o needed for my stay. Little touches like homemade biscuits and the bunches of native flowers inside and outside were so nice. Property is close to beautiful beaches and wineries and to my family who I was there visiting. Only very minor thing was the front of my car (Mitsubishi lancer) scraping on the driveway when I reversed no matter how I tried to navigate this but this was an extremely small thing when the rest of the stay and property was beyond my expectations.

Everything has been carefully considered and included. It was like walking into a brand new cottage. From the curtains/blinds to the bed linen, everything is in excellent condition. There are more towels than needed and they are so soft and luxurious. The bathroom contains quality products. The bathroom is sparkling clean. In the kitchen, anything that is needed is there. No hand-me-down cutlery and utensils. No chipped dinnerware. Everything is good quality and in perfect condition. That cosy sitting room is beautifully decorated. In the sitting room, the furniture is top quality. The lounge chair is very comfortable and I loved the lamp. Where did you buy that? I've left the bedroom for last, because it contains everyone's dream of the ideal bed. I don't usually sleep through the night without waking several times. But, for eleven nights, I slept straight through to the morning. Utter bliss! That bed was perfect for me. The bed linen is, once again, good quality and there are extra rugs if needed. It was a pleasure to spend time in that beautiful cottage. Sabine was helpful and attended to my needs within minutes. Nothing was too much trouble for Sabine. The grounds and garden are full of trees and beautiful roses. There are solar powered lights that sense movement and light up at night to help guests to follow the path to the cottage. That is very clever thinking and gratefully appreciated. Sabine and Georg have set the bar extremely high for others who provide holiday accommodation in SA. I have experienced many holiday places in my 70 plus years, both in Australia and overseas. Never have I enjoyed anything like the accommodation provided by Sabine and Georg. Thank you, Sabine and Georg, for dreaming up your lovely cottage. You are the perfect hosts - I knew that I could contact you for anything I needed, but you were not intrusive. I did not like leaving Cottage A.

Love the little details throughout, the fresh flowers were lovely and the cookies were delicious. Will definitely stay again. :) Could do with a shelf in the shower because it's hard to access toiletries while showering. It's not great for someone with back problems or if you want to avoid getting your hair wet.

It was quiet, the garden was lovely. Sabine cookies were delicious just ask my 3yr old grandson . The exit light is too bright. A couple more hooks in bathroom would be great. Otherwise for the 2 of us it was perfect.

• Sally (10/5): Lovely, cute bungalow. - Tasteful decor including native flower arrangements. Set in a peaceful native garden with comfortable outdoor setting for enjoying the space. Walking distance to beautiful beach which even had dolphins swimming close to the shore at sunset. Very nice bedroom and neat kitchen containing everything needed. Nothing we didn’t like, however people should be aware that the lounge is very small and the sofa bed takes up the entire space once unfolded, so the bungalow would be best suited to a couple.
