- Jackie (8/5): Lovely clean home in walking distance to the beach and amenities. - Lovely comfortable home in a great location. Unfortunately we were not able to use the car park at the back of the property as our hire car was too big to negotiate the driveway and turning space and close street parking was not available most off the time. The caravan and large vehicle parked straight out front of the property seemed to be permanently parked there. I did flag a couple of maintenance issues prior to leaving which will make the next people who stay even more comfortable.

- laurel (7/5): Lovely cottage feels in Glenelg - Location was great with an easy walk to shops, cafes and beach Kitchen and Cooking equipment rather basic, pots with no lids, no wine bottle or can opener. No serving bowls or dishes. Only 3 burners on the stovetop worked.

- Rachael (9/5): - Fantastic location, so close to walk for dinner, shops and coffee. No need for a car unless you really want. Public transport close as well. Floor boards creek when walking through house very noisy, only one bathroom at end of house. But other than that a gorgeous place to stay and pet friendly.
- Rachael (8/5): An ‘ok’ property. Everything worked but it was quite underwhelming for the price we paid. - The location was pretty good for what we needed it for (close to aquatic center). It is close to some nice restaurants and cafes and only a short walk to Jetty Road. Easy to gain access and the Hello team were good at communicating. The property is clean. It was very cold and dark. Unfortunately we didn’t feel comfortable opening side and front blinds as there is no privacy from neighbours and footpath. Definitely only a super small car for access to the carport out back.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Location, cleanliness and functionality amazing - would definitely book again. Loved the property but just watch porcelain tiles on bathroom floor - could be slippery. Seriously nitpicking though to find anything negative.
- Lopes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): This propety was clean and spacious. Location was great! - The size and quality of the propety We liked all
- Ellen (7/5): Pretty good, could look to fix the timber hallways to make the noise less. - The location was good and bed was comfortable. Couldn’t fit in the parking out the back, and had to park down the road more than 100m at times. The attached house was also incredibly noisy and could hear the neighbours so so loudly walking up and down the hallway. They also had kids (which I understand are loud), but they rode some sort of toy with wheels up and down the hallway which exacerbated the noise. I just turned the tv up louder or put headphones in and could tolerate it. The internet also didn’t work for more than 2 days but could be ISP issue.
- Annette (4/5): Great position, Glenelg is fabulous but the accommodation is very disappointing. - The location is fabulous. Close to the beach and lots of good restaurants and cafés. The house was the bare minimum in everything. The kitchen was lacking in chopping boards, oven wear ( including oven mit ), any serving dishes or platters. We chose this place because it was dog friendly and had a lawn, when we turned up it was just dirt and very unpleasant to even sit outside. The air conditioner in the master bedroom is incredibly loud and inefficient. The front window has a hole in the glass, I assumed this had just happened and wanted to make the booking agent aware only to be told it happened ages ago. We were there 21 days and initially told we would have have two cleans only to be told later only one clean. We had no chose when this would be or what time. The clean turned out to be a change of beading and towels. No vacuuming or kitchen floor washed. I also found the agent difficult to deal with.
- Peter (7/5): Great location, safe secure, neat neat kitchen & bathroom & comfortable bedding and lougeroom. - Great location & good restaurants across the road
On Partridge street. And a good walk to jetty road Glenelg SA. Parking 🅿️ at the back of property not achievable but good parking in front of townhouse. Air Conditioning could have been a higher quality and be not so noisy in front bedroom and more efficient.
- Anthony (9/5): We loved our stay here in this gorgeous bluestone cottage in a fantastic location - Bluestone cottage, large comfy rooms, location, neighbourhood, facilities , prompt feedback Entering the property but the problem was resolved.
- Ray (7/5): Good - The location. The parking was difficult to use,
- Marcelle (8/5): great stay, 10/10 location but the kitchen needs some re-equipping! - awesome property and location. clean with lovely decor to bedrooms and living areas. we had a lovely stay and very much enjoyed the many wonderful cafes in very close proximity! we loved the property and our 10night stay - but a few areas for improvement which would have made day to day living in the property much more convenient (probably less relevant for guests staying shorter periods though):
-the kitchen amenities were quite disappointing. there was not one casserole dish that we could use to cook with in the oven/microwave. (this seems like a very basic and expected item in a self contained Air bnb. We made do with a baking try which significantly limited the kinda of meals we could cook so not ideal.
- there was not one plastic container for storing food or leftovers in so we had to go to the shops to buy our own. this also seems like a very expected kitchen item.
- while it functions, the oven needs some repairs and maintenance as it took over 40mins to cook a tray of frozen chips which was supposed to take 10mins (just as one example)
- the power button on the tv remote doesn't work so the tv had to be turned on and off manually on side of tv which took a little while to figure out
n
- there was no key left for the back sliding door to enable rear access
- the vacuum cleaner provided had zero suction and was overflowing as though it had never been emptied. we had to clean the vacuum cleaner in order for it to have suction
-it would be very useful to have a printed copy of the "house guide" for guests. while the "scan me" digital format is a clever concept it was often inconvenient that a smart phone was needed anytime we needed to reference something about the property
- Ernie (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (3/5): location - Glenelg was great and would look for a different home next time. - the property was not very clean. very old furnishings and not comfortable. toilet seat was broken. old rug in bedroom unusable. no condiments. old salt and pepper only. kitchen utensils pretty useless. rear garden not aesthetic like the photos. we had to buy bin bags and dishwasher tablets. steel wool shoved between the floor boards and walls - no skirting boards. would not stay there again.
