- Talia (10/5): Best stay ever ! - We loved the scenery and how accommodating the house was ! P.s sorry we forgot to clean the BBQ he got a fright from a giant huntsman 🤣 No dislikes :)
- Cassie O'Brien (9/5): Peaceful comfortable stay- 3 bedrooms for the whole family. - Location was excellent. So peaceful. Could have cleaned outdoor area better. Lots of wasps nests on furniture.
- Lauren (10/5): - Gorgeous location, surround by nature. Close by for visiting Australia zoo and the glass house mountains. Felt like a home away from home, plus the couple who own the place are lovely!
- Joshua (10/5): Clean and spacious with plenty of things for the kids to do including toys inside and out. Linen and towels even feel ho - Clean and spacious with plenty of things for the kids to do including toys inside and out. Linen and towels even feel homely and not just generic hotel stuff. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone not just family’s nothing
- Maria Victoria (9/5): Fabulous!!! - Ambience, surroundings, calmness Just the hot shower that won’t stay hot for quite longer
- Pearce (8/5): Really loved the location, the peacefulness, and responsiveness of the hosts. - Location and peacefulness Shower cubicle needs a lip across the edge to stop the water going on the floor. A water filter under the sink tap would be nice.
- Cinnah (9/5): -
- Doug (10/5): A great place to stay - well situated lovely setting- highly recommend - The wildlife experience & the relaxing environment
- Dee Hampton (10/5): - We loved the country feel, felt like home.
- Chloe (10/5): Close to Australia Zoo, perfect little getaway - Beautiful location and central to Aussie Zoo and not far from Sunshine Plaza and Aussie World, clean and a perfect little cottage vibe. The fire pit and BBQ was great, we had a fire each night. The beds were very comfy and it was wonderful to wake up seeing the wildlife surrounding us being horses, wallabies etc. N/a
- Simon (10/5): Stunning Stay - The accommodation was clean and comfortable and was a very handy location to Australia zoo and shops.
It was great sitting outside in the cold at night with a roaring fire going in the fire pit.
For my family and me, the best part was being surrounded by horses and kangaroos and an abundance of other wildlife.
If anyone is looking for a place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. The only issue we had was a lack of shower screen or curtain.
It's not a major issue but it did lead to the bathroom getting very wet outside the shower.
This definitely won't stop us from returning next year though.
- Davies (10/5): Lovely lovely time - I came here for my 20th birthday with my family and best friend. :) I love the home layout and just the overall feel... I love the firepit and the morning vibes of the animals and fresh air. It even started raining hard and being able to sit on the back porch area with my family, watching the rain was so refreshing. I'll definitely be back here another time!! Wonderful and so relaxing... I feel completely reset from my work stress and I also feel reconnected with nature a bit 💖 Some things have stains and are a little dirty, but mostly stuff outside which I suppose you can't help!
- Null (10/5): A home away from home. Perfect location and views. - Lovely comfy and clean. A home away from home. Everything we needed for our stay. Perfect location for all the tourist areas, especially Australia Zoo. The views were beautiful, waking up to kookaburras every morning and watching the kangaroos graze every evening whilst admiring the gorgeous sunsets. Only a tiny bit small for a family of 5 with older children (ie couch and dining table), but this wouldn’t deter us from staying here again.
- Rebecca (8/5): Lovely and quite very comfortable. - Quiet
- Ma (10/5): Peaceful, clean and comfortable, lots of wildlife to watch, house fully equipped, comfortable beds. Would definitey stay - We liked the peace and quiet, the location was great only a couple minutes from town Landsborough and close to the attractions Eg Aus Zoo. Not too far from the coastal towns. We loved watching the wildlife and having a firepit every night. The cottage was clean and comfortable for our family. Had everything we needed to cook meals everyday, and the comforts from home eg aircon/heater, dishwasher. Our kids loved the cards, toys and outdoor games that were available to play with. Would definitey recommend staying
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianne (10/5): Peaceful, well appointed and convenient - We travelled up to visit Australia Zoo. The accomodation was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 1 child. Plenty of room, well setup with everything we could require. Lovely peaceful outlook from the verandah, overlooking a valley, but only 5-10 minutes from town and 10 minutes from zoo. Honor (the host) was so helpful and responsive to our messages. Thank you. Highly recommend.
- Athol (8/5): Very good - Nice cosy setting Limited phone coverage
- Tailah (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and beautiful surroundings
- Liz (9/5): Superb - Great size and has envy Bit too close to owner’s residence
- Msbantu (9/5): Superb - The layout, the view, the amenities in the house. Toilet in the bathroom. Managed but could be tricky with 6 adults.
- Jade (10/5): What a lovely cosy cabin great for families - The peace and quiet, the cosy cabin, the fire pit.
- Matthew (10/5): Landsborough Cottage - Relaxing atmosphere, quiet location, stones throw from Australia Zoo, loved the kangaroos In the backyard. Nothing.
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good - Great peaceful place to stay. Owner gave excellent directions. Only downside was that phone and Internet was patchy. But us coming from regional Victoria are used to that.
- Kristin (10/5): Great little getaway! Thank you. - Great location for Australia Zoo. Loved having a campfire on the first night and BBQ on the second. We found the property very relaxing.
- Glen (9/5): nice house, great location. kangaroos and kookaburras every day -
- Vicky (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): If you're searching for the ultimate relaxing getaway, look no further. - The combination of serene surroundings and proximity to stunning coastal scenery makes this destination a must-visit for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.
- Glenys (10/5): A great stay. The family loved it. - Peace and tranquility of the property. It was a bit tricky following directions.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (10/5): The best experience, we have ever had. Exceeded expectations. - Absolutely everything. Home from home and a whole lot more. Comfortable, clean and extremely well equipped. The surroundings were breathtaking. We saw kangaroos, beautiful horses and lots of other wildlife. Fantastic experience for us. Quality family time. Played games after our bbq. Nice to forget mobile phones and the internet, for 3 days. Just wish we had more time to stay longer. There was nothing to dislike at all.
- Troy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Weldon (10/5): Absolutely Superb - We had an absolute Cracker of a time. The scenery was superb. Plenty on Native wildlife to watch and enjoy. The self contained cottage was nice, neat, tidy but must of all comfortably tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, can't wait to return again. To be honest, there wasn't anything.
- Kassandra (7/5): Relaxing rural retreat close to plenty of activities for the whole family. - Landsborough Cottage is located in a beautiful area close to an abundance of things to do. The property had all the comforts needed for a short or long stay. The area does not have good mobile coverage and because the property has no wifi it is difficult to do anything online. We planned to stream a movie each night for the kids to watch but had to download them off site the first day.
- Amber (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful retreat. Perfect for the family. - A beautiful property just out of town enough to be peaceful but not far from anything. The animals were a hit with the kids and the house was comfortable, tidy with plenty of extras which was a lovely touch. We’d happily come back.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karina (8/5): Really enjoyed the remote rural feel and being close to Australia Zoo - Great location, clean and tidy with basic supplies for a comfortable stay.
- Ashleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, peaceful, great for families - Our stay at Landsborough Cottage was incredible! The cottage was very clean, accessing the keys was super easy, the kitchen facilities are great, and the property is so beautiful and peaceful. There were also childrens toys and books in a cupboard which was a fun find! Plus a high chair and toddler chair. Firewood is available for $10 and so we had a campfire each night which was lovely. My toddler loved watching the horses and kangaroos. The location is great - very close to Australia Zoo. I would highly recommend this property! The scented diffuser reeds in the bedrooms were too strong. These can trigger hayfever and artificial fragrances are not very healthy. (We placed them outside and ran the fans on high and it was fine). The cottage was very clean and so the diffuser reeds are not necessary.
- Anne (8/5): Easy to get too, great location and tranquillity - Location was great and tranquil. Loved the single bed room with the safety railing. There was a very strong smell from the diffuser reeds, the place smelled great but I recommend swapping to non-floral scents as they are not great for people with hayfever and such.
- Trudy (10/5): Exceptional home in an idealic setting - Exceptional setting amongst bushland with kangaroos and horses at the doorstep. Very clean and well-appointed property. Communication from the host was very prompt and clear. Very close proximity to Australia Zoo and the broader Sunshine Coast.
- Audra (10/5): Country Oasis close to everything Sunshine Coast - Location, Comfort, Cleanliness, Convenience to attractions & shopping options. Overall, my family & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There were numerous in door & outdoor gaming options for our children. We loved being surrounded by the peace & quiet of a large rural property.
- Buddhi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing! Came home feeling very relaxed - So clean, very peaceful location. Close enough to place to visit but when you get back to the cottage it feels so isolated and I loved the birds and kangaroos.
- Eve (10/5): Exceptional - Love how peaceful it was and so close to everything we needed, like the Australian zoo. Plus, it's close to the shops.
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Amalia (9/5): Superb -
- Asena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Excellent - Location
- Kyra (10/5): Simple and Beautiful - The cottage was very well kept, simple and beautiful. It was lovely to wake to kangaroos and the horses in the paddock. The extra blankets to snuggle on the couch outside were greatly appreciated.
- Angela (7/5): Good -
- Tahni (10/5): 2 under 2 - We had a great time - Loved the fire pit, having access to a kettle and crib for my newborn as well as a bed with rails for my toddler. We enjoyed being close for our trip to Australia zoo and that there was so many lovely shops in Beerwah. We didn't get much chance to check out some of the cool playgrounds close by in our short stay but it emphasised what an excellent location it is. The hosts were amazing - top communicators, welcoming and flexible to our check in time needs We were prepared for no wifi but it was unfortunate our hotspot was shotty at times (Optus network) when my husband and I wanted to watch a movie whilst the kiddies napped during the day, which I believe having a curtain installed for the sliding door would improve visibility of the TV during the day or if the TV bracket changed to a moving arm one. Of course, I believe that need was unique to us as there's so much more to do outdoors that once my kids are older and if this place is still available then, we'll spend most of our time away
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional - Roos everywhere close to kart track and Australia zoo
- May (10/5): We will be returning! - The location was central to everything on the sunny coast and the master bed was the best mattress I have ever slept on! There was nothing I didn't like, the whole place is amazing!
- Elisabet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (9/5): Peaceful, comfy spot perfect for a weekend escape. - Great location for the Australia Zoo, which is what we were coming for. Lovely peaceful outlook and plenty of spacce for us - 3 adults and 2 kids. Overall the living and sleeping space was clean, but the home has some amazing high ceilings - great for making it feel expansive, but does make it harder to clean the spiders and webs that got caught up in the corners everywhere.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (6/5): Peaceful outlook. - Beautiful, tranquil property with such an amazing outlook over the dam and surrounded by wildlife. We loved the indoor/outdoor toys available for the children too. It made entertaining them late in the afternoon and early morning a breeze. Unfortunately, although neat and tidy, the property was not at a level of cleanliness you would expect for the accommodation provided and the price paid. It would seem that only a spot clean had been performed. It made me question the hygiene levels of every aspect of the accommodation. I can see that the accommodation has received wonderful reviews previously and I do hope that this is a one off as the property is tranquil and inviting. It was disappointing to be paying hotel prices and not have such high levels of cleanliness.
- Chai (8/5): Very good -
- Dianne (9/5): Great price and location - Had a great country feel and lots of room for kids to run around. Lots of toys (inside and out) to keep them amused. Handy washing machine and dryer. Best to check what food is in unit before heading to the shops. Foil and gladwrap in drawer was a great bonus. Closest beach about 20 minutes away. Nothing.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (8/5): Peaceful nights sleep - I liked being able to roll in late from a flight and find everything I needed to get in seamlessly.
Good quiet nights sleep. Undercover parking - as it was teaming rain when I got there. My only negative for the property was that I didn’t appreciate ring accused of having a dog (we arrived at the property at 1am after a late flight to Brisbane)- “are you sure?” Like I was a liar, and bringing in someone else who “saw it”… Meanwhile there is a dog in the paddock the whole time with people doing horse stuff.
Other than that a great stay.
- Deepak (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - Location is great nice and quiet Nothing
- Freddie (10/5): Incredible family accommodation, in true Australia - Fantastic location, felt like true Australia.
Kangaroos out and about whilst eating breakfast and enjoying the sounds of the kookaburras.
- Holly (10/5): Great location & lovely property, would stay again. - Loved the property. Surrounded by trees, kangaroos visit, the sound of birds calling. It was clean, had everything we needed & it felt like home away from home. Was decorated/furnished really lovely & it even had a ping pong table & other games. Close to shops, Zoo & other fun attractions. Short drive to the Sunshine Coast beaches.
- Chelsea (10/5): Absolutely beautiful, very spacious for family of 4 and plenty to do for all ages kitchen well stocked and bbq was aweso - Spacious, great location and very homie with all the little touches they have for you.
Plenty of activities for big and little kids along with making sure tea coffee and condiments were all stocked The only thing can say is double check all lighters are gassed for people to use and maybe have some mozzie coils to help.. we always carry mozzie sprays so we were ok but it’s not something many people carry
- Clive (10/5): Amazing and we will be back - It was situated perfectly, easy access to main roads and attractions. Amazingly priced for what you got. The wildlife was abundant and we saw one of the resident horses swimming in the dam. We could switch off for the weekend and just be together.
- Debra (9/5): As short stay accommodation for a family on the Sunshine Coast this was an ideal location. Close to attractions that far - Peace tranquility kangaroos, birds … everything Nothing
- Kimatt72 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miranda (10/5): Perfect, peaceful and relaxing - The location. It was very peaceful. The cottage was beautiful. It was very clean and tidy. They had everything there from a fire pit to kids toys. Perfect for a couple or a whole family.
- Baljeet (9/5): Superb -
- Gaby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caitlin (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annaka (10/5): Exceptional - Short distance away from everything we needed but rural enough to enjoy the tranquillity
- Cliff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peta (10/5): Perfect Family Holiday Destination - The location was amazing, it was so nice for the kids to be able to run around and play when we got back from activities. The ping pong table was a favourite for the kids and being able to see the wildlife. We loved having a fire in the fire pit. We will definitely be booking here again in the future.
- Danielle (10/5): Perfect Little Sanctuary ❤️ - Loved the location - a great place for a weekend away! Couldn't fault a thing!
- Roshelle (10/5): Exceptional - The location was easy to find, amazing wildlife around.
- Perry (9/5): Superb -
- Aina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (9/5): Superb - Catered for all ages. Rural but not far from town. Netflix would have been good for the kids lots of cobwebs outside.
- Rebecca (10/5): A wonderful stay with breathtaking views and beautiful accommodation. - We loved everything about this property. It was tranquil the cottage was cosy but spacious the scenery was beautiful.
The hosts were very lovely and gave us great directions to find the place. I would definitely love to stay here again.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the fire pit, the ping pong table, the location and the silence on the porch. We could not walk and enjoy the beautiful fields around the property. We could not make a nice pot of filter coffee in the morning and the kettle was not working.
- Samuel (9/5): Great location if you are looking to get "back to nature" but still close to shops/attractions/beach -
