• Angela (8/5): Love the weekend - The location was amazing. Very comfortable and the view were awesome. I sort of think a door on the main suite would be beneficial for privacy. We stayed with friends who were down stairs but their was no privacy for a bedroom

Mancavano alcuni servizi base: L'asciugatrice o mollette x appendere i panni, nei bagni non c:erano ganci per appendere asciugamani o vestiti nè riscaldamento, le padelle e le teglie da forno nonché il bollitore d'acqua erano arrugginiti. L:acqua era imbevibile (consiglio di acquistarla prima di andare nella struttura).
• Martin (5/5): Spacious house in quiet location, desperate for some TLC. - The house was spacious and tidy, beds comfortable and the location peaceful. The house and pretty much all aspects were worn out. Whether the semi-broken kettle or bathroom sink tap, browned cushions, missing light bulbs, heavily scratched cooking utensils or unstable bunk bed, every area showed that maintenance and care were overdue.

Would have been great if not for the ant infestation upstairs. The top floor bedroom and bathroom were infested with ants, we had ants crawling on us in our bed on the first night. Agent sent us some ant gel to put out, but still had ants in the upstairs bed and bathroom. Had to squeeze the family into the two ground floor bedrooms and abandon the top floor, we paid for 3 bedroom house and effectively got use of only 2 bedrooms. Saw a small number of ants downstairs also, not enough to be a problem though. There are some reviews from previous visitors also mentioning problems with ants. Otherwise if not for the ants it would be a a great place to stay except for maybe a couple of little things: - nowhere to hang towels in ground floor bathroom (no rails or hooks of any sort), a simple towel rail would be great - some kitchen pans and utensils are very worn out

• Rachel (9/5): Superb - Such a beautiful house - perfect for our family, little bit further out than what we thought to the heart of st Helen’s but very clean and tidy and had all we needed Only small thing would be to maybe stock the wood fire up with wood as it was heavy rain and had to go searching but honestly not a criticism just a small thing to maybe sort for the next people that stay

Toilet paper rolls were almost gone when we arrived and no more in the house. Pretty significant ant problem in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom. Texts went unanswered.

Number of minor problems with facilities that need attention mentioned to agent (nothing too serious)

The verandah and view advertised is from the main bedroom so not really the place to have drinks. Needed extra blankets and some towel racks in the main bathroom.

Great to have soap, shampoo, conditioner, washing detergent and more all provided. Flat yard was great for kids balls and bikes. Awesome storage space and huge fridge/freezer. Few little maintenance things to address. Spider webs in most windows and corner storage in main bedroom. Upstairs ensuite had 2 globes not working in the bathroom. Bedside light in bunkroom doesn't work. Light in middle of the stairs is coming out of its fitting at floor level. Barbeque was filthy and couldn't be used. A clothes airer would have been good.
