- feng chiao (6/5): - 像家一樣的住宿經驗很棒! 有些儲存的調味料已經過期,希望能定期檢視
- Naomi (9/5): We had a great stay, the freshly cut roses made the smell of the house really nice. Vicky was great to deal with. - Great location to where we needed to be
- Lisa (6/5): -

- Kaylene (8/5): Beautiful house with great access to all Hobart has to offer. - Superb location. Very easy to get to everything in Hobart. Close to Botanical Gardens, bus stop just outside. Great shower. Loved the history of the property. Plenty of room. A cute little garden. The use of a washing machine. We were staying in the gate house, but I could only glimpse the main building behind us.
- Joanne (10/5): Beautiful Gatehouse! - The location, the comfort and the ease of moving around. Can't think of anything!
- Rachael (10/5): - Loved how close it was hobart and all facilities.
Very clean and comfortable.
- Marie (9/5): - We enjoyed the central location of the house with quick access to CBD and the garden
- Thomas (9/5): - very cute little house, everything we needed to cook for ourselves. the host was great when we locked our keys inside!
- Rachel (5/5): Gatehouse on stoke. - Location as it was close to things we had planned around hobart to sight see. No dryer as stated in the booking details.
It was really small inside other than the bedrooms.
Felt very claustrophobic.
Did not suit 4 adults and a 7 year old.
Definitely not secure for children open driveway with no gate.
Literally the owner's behind you living on properity.
Very noisy neighbours and traffic 24/7. If your looking for any quiet or peaceful relaxation this isn't for you.
The pictures on booking.com don't show the above thing's I've mentioned. For the price you would expect more. But this is just our experience as a family of 5. Everyone may have different opinions.

- Tamara (10/5): Beautiful place to stay. - We loved how cute and cozy it is.
- Susan (10/5): Cosy place in New Town - Cosy place that had everything you needed. Clean and comfortable. Easy to get into centre of town. Took a little bit of time to work out heating systems. Definitely would consider staying again on visit to Hobart Nothing we didn't like
- Yingfan (10/5): - Great location, quiet and warm, Highly recommend!
- Yingfan (10/5): Prefect - Great location! Warm beds and tidy place. Will consider again if come back to Hobart.
- Marc (8/5): Good location for exploring Hobart - Quaint and comfortable Aircon didn’t heat the house very well
- Lai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (9/5): Location privacy and comfort. Cooking our own meals. - Fantastic location easy to get everywhere we needed to go. Full block out curtains would help we are not used to streetlights.
- Samantha (8/5): Quint, cozy cottage - The cottage style.
Well equipped and generous supplies (ie, toilet paper, milk, etc).
Central location in a lovely suburb. Our family found the beds to be a bit on the hard side (but that is personal taste). Also, quilts were quite heavy and a bit too insulating. Blanket/lighter option in cupboards would have been nice. Again nor really a criticism.
- Chris (8/5): Very accessible with access to the city via bus, Vicki was very welcoming and the dogs were lovely. -
- Denise (9/5): Comfortable and centrally located - Centrally located All good
- Jane (9/5): Tassie travels with mum - cosy northside stay - Cosy and comfortable house, had everything we needed and close enough to walk to North Hobart shops and restaurants, plus easy bus route to town.
We liked sitting in the garden in the afternoons There was a little noise from the road but not enough to bother us
- Iyapa (7/5): TT - Kitchen Many broken things in house and the sound of duck and dog are all around we cannot slept
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Well presented, well equipped, lovely location.
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): A very pleasant stay and close to the Botanic gardens and an interesting suburb to walk around. - A cosy, homely space with a nice garden. It was all good.
- Farah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Very warm and comfortable
- Shaun (9/5): Great short stay - The cottage is an "oldie, but a goodie". Well equipped and maintained.
It is well located with easy access from the highway, close to the city centre and in a good neighbourhood.
- Kirsty (8/5): It was perfect for what we needed for our kids soccer weekend. Minus the horrendous weather -
- Nigel (3/5): Their lack of attention to detail and don’t give a dam attitude sticks out! - The sofa. Was very comfortable, good water pressure. The whistling kettle a novelty! We booked for breakfast included and they knowingly left us leftovers. An empty jar of peanut butter, and almost empty jars of jam and marmalade both of which you wouldn’t touch due to germs as you don’t know what other people have been sticking in there! A handful of corn flakes and a pint of milk. 2 oranges and a very small apple. All of which to last 2 people 2 days! We needed a miracle! 4 little porridge packets. It was a disgrace. We paid good money for an included breakfast. I thought oh they will bring it over later! When I e-mailed her she pretended everything was good!
No juice, no cereals, no sealed butter, jams, marmalade, Vegemite, honey, Nutella. No croissants, no milk, no eggs or sliced ham or enough of anything for 2 people for three mornings! Very, very disappointing!
- Jenni (9/5): Superb - This place had everything you could need
Perfect for our family stay
- Mandy (10/5): Perfect location as our friend lives in Sunnyside Rd - Apples and mandarins great .
Muesli was fine .
Fresh milk Nothing really
- Lisa (5/5): Passable -
- Virginia (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (4/5): Underwhelming holiday rental - The best thing about the house was the ducted heating The bathroom smells quite bad. The owners live on the property several meters away from the house in another house which is not disclosed on the property and which makes the property feel not very private. The blinds in the bedroom do not function to block out light, so it is bright all the time and it is not possible to darken rooms during daylight hours. The beds in one of the rooms are not comfortable at all. The breakfast supplies were not very nice - a loaf of cheap bread in the freezer and some basic cereal in the fridge.
- Wells (9/5): Superb - Excellent little cottage. Would definitely stay again.
- Kellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahn (7/5): Good -
- Tereziakalkbrenner (8/5): Cosy cottage - The location is ideal if you have transport otherwise may be a little far from the main tourist area. The cottage is cosy and has everything needed. With both heating and cooling the cottage is very comfortable and clean. Not much to not like at all. Great place although the traffic on this street can be noisy but it was not too problematic.
- Julia (7/5): Lovely home but ordinary beds in main bedroom - This place was mostly comfortable. Great shower and lounge room had 2 good lounges. Lounge was nice and warm. Kitchen was well equipped as was bathroom. House had ducted heating. Both beds in the main( double bed and a single bed) bedroom of the cottage were not good. The double bed was so soft both hubby and I needed to find other beds in house. Not ideal not being able to sleep in a bed with my hubby on our holiday. This bed needs to be replaced for the comfort of visitors, hopefully it will be done??
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Good location, even though it was on a busy road. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of breakfast supplies provided. The house seemed quite cluttered with unnecessary stuff. Felt a little cramped in the main bedroom and kitchen. No off street parking was available, even though the description stated that off street parking would be available. A new build was being done at the back of the property, so had workmen coming and going. Very untidy garden. So I little disappointed.
- Daveonline (9/5): Superb -
