- Rebecca (9/5): - It’s a sweet cottage will definitely stay there again The dish washer didn’t work, lots of flashing buttons but couldn’t get it to start. Accessing the property and obtaining the correct lock box code was difficult, I was sitting on the street at 6:30pm unable to access the property and hoping for a reply via the booking.com message bot which thankfully came through.
- Judy (8/5): It worked for our family group aged 15 to mid 70’s. Two bathrooms nicely updated. Bed very comfy all round. Kitchen and - Beds were comfy, heating adequate, too cool to use deck but looked good Dishwasher didn’t get going??, no free to air on main tv,
- Cullity (8/5): -
- Minnett (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (9/5): A lovely little house close to all you could need. - It had everything we needed for a week long stay. Close to everything. Loved the coffee shop one block away and the park within walking distance was great also. Dishwasher did not work. But was easy enough to do without.
- Kaaren (9/5): Ideal accommodation when visiting Orange - Spacious, two bathrooms, good heating and fabulous beds.good kitchen facilities.
Laundry a bonus I feel the provisions were inadequate.
Could leave a big Uht milk or even better fresh milk as opposed to 7 minuscule capsules of same.
A better supply of tea/coffee.
What about a loaf of bread in the freezer and frozen butter.
The Staff member who visited us was super helpful and obliging
- Jessica (10/5): Home from home! - Such a lovely and homely cottage! Really felt like a home from home arriving into Orange for the first time. Everything was great. We were lucky to be able to book this last minute after other accommodation fell through. We didn’t actually need this much space but I could imagine it would be great for a family group. Also loved the location, quiet streets and quick drive or walk to town. We will be booking again when family visit us from the UK! Nothing
- Suzanne (8/5): Comfortable and well equipped - Well renovated
Clean
As was advertised. Multiple emails re checkin in were not appreciated.
Key ox was a bit painful

- Carol (9/5): A great place to stay, comfortable and clean. We will return. - Beautiful and comfortable house with plenty of space for the 4 of us. Lovely deck out the back for afternoon drinks. The floor tiles in the bathroom were a little slippery when wet.

Heating more than adequate. Front door a bit tricky to open.
Couldn’t get coffee machine to work
- Georgia (9/5): Superb - Our stay at the Nile Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Arriving at the Cottage the hosts had turned on the heaters so we were greeted to a warm and cozy space. The home were wonderful and the heated flooring in both bathrooms were such a cozy addition.
- Tuakalau (7/5): Good - A nice cosy place, spacious & carpet throughout the room & living room - good for cold nights. Short circuits to the power points. Place had aircon & 1 gas heater & 2 portable heaters. Its gets quite cold at night but couldn’t have these on to warm up the place due to short circuit. Our last night there the hot water finished.
- Sumitra (9/5): Very lovely house, comfortable. - Lovely house with all the facilities we would need for a short stay. Will definitely try and come again. The gas room heater in the living room was a bit tricky to operate, some written/printed instructions would have been helpful.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillipa (10/5): Exceptional - Lock box was easy
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberley (9/5): Perfect location - Great property, plenty of room for the family great size yard and very clean
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (7/5): it's the little things that you remember. - It was spacious, confortable with a good size kitchen. The garden was well maintained. Dissapointingly there were a number of minor maintenance items that should have been attended to. The crisper drawer in the fridge was stuck closed, several lights wer out in the Kitchen. The TV only picked up a few channels and there were cupboard doors needed adjustment. These niggling things were unexpected and disapointing for a property in this price range.
- Annette (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (9/5): Great family option - A great house for a family. Spacious and clean. The 2 bathrooms were great. A huge backyard for the kids to play. Simple check in and out. It was a very hot weekend. The back room has an air-conditioner , the front rooms and lounge don't. An extra air conditioner or some fans would have made it more comfortable.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (8/5): I would stay again but maybe in the winter - It was a lovely home very nicely renovated. Great layout. My only thought was it needed ceiling fans in the bedrooms as it was so hot. Also instructions on how to use the tv would be good. Otherwise all good Too hot to sleep. Needed ceiling fans. Could work tv
- Liz (8/5): Very good - Clean Air con did not work properly
- Lindsay (9/5): Excellent location and an easy walk to City Centre. Very well appointed and neat, tidy home. -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Good house, in a quiet street, very clean and great location to access the town. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and having 2 bathrooms is helpful.
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mariyam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yashar (9/5): Superb - Very cosy, homely and clean. Air conditioner system can be improved.
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, warm and welcoming cottage. Well presented and thought through with everything you needed. Loved the little touches Nothing, it was great.
Just note for future guests...., Monopoly had no dice. Pump on hand wash in main bathroom didn't work.
- Margaret (9/5): Perfect - This was our second stay at the Nile Cottage. It's is very comfortable and good location to everything.
- Nicole (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (9/5): excellent, we would stay again. - so comfortable & beautifully styled home away from home. we loved the property but the power did trip 3 times, we had to flick the mains back on in the power box. just noting for management, we personally didn’t find it a major issue, but may need maintenance.
- Julianne (9/5): Everything was perfect - Great place, really lovely experience
- Vicki (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Orange. The town is delightful & the house was a - The house was a delight. The town is lovely. Nothing.
- Ursula (9/5): Great house close to town - Well presented property with everything we needed. better heating for the bedrooms, the gas heater in the lounge was good but didn’t heat the bedrooms well enough
- Kevin (8/5): Enjoyable few days in beautiful Orange. - Cottage was in a quiet street, had plenty of room for 4 people, had off street parking and a large back deck. There was also a sunny front porch. The TV was large and HD, Large north facing windows in the dining room and lounge room let the autumn sun in which was lovely. Bathroom floors had under floor heating. Unfortunately, the front bedroom had no heating except for electric blankets which meant it was freezing when you got out of bed. Air conditioning / heater of some sort is needed. As frost developed on the back deck in the mornings, it might be a good idea to put a sign up for those who aren't aware that this happens in Orange to avoid slip ups.
- Carmen (7/5): Good -
- Chris (10/5): exactly what was advertised - clean, tidy and very comfortable for our group. close to the cbd but only a $9 taxi ride to the local pubs
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tia-anne (10/5): Would absolutely recommend, we stayed as we had a powerlifting competition and it was perfect - Location was great, had everything we needed and more Honestly couldn’t fault it
