Guest Reviews
- Tomika (8/5): - The property was beautiful and the little home was intimate. It was snuggly and cozy!
- Jorge (9/5): -
- Caitlin (7/5): it was pleasant - Location was good, not too far from Sydney. A powered tiny home with use of AC and microwave. Could hear neighbours yelling, the walk to the property could be more stable, it was all small rocks. Partner and I struggled to carry our belongings as we thought we would slip. Lack of paper towels/ toilet paper. I have been to a few tiny homes before and the option to have firewood available on arrival was a bonus, unfortunately this was not accomodated.
- Jarrod (8/5): -
- Scarlett (3/5): Pretty view but not worth the fee - The view was beautiful and the host prompt and friendly at replying. Dead insects across the ceiling and around the windows in the room. The cutlery / mugs / utensils weren’t cleaned properly/ the draws they were in were packed with random household items . Very hard and uncomfortable bed. It felt like someone lived in there during the week and had just cleared out for the weekend for us to pop in but hadn’t cleaned up properly before they left. If you are charging almost $600 for two nights I’d at least expect a clean mug to drink out of.
- Holly (10/5): My partner and I have been long distance since we got together so being able to enjoy getaways like this are always fant - This was a beautiful little stay! The location was perfect, it was far enough away from the main property that it still felt super private! The location was absolutely stunning, combined with the mountains, the little pond and the animals all around it was perfect. The location was also close enough to Richmond that it wasn’t too far to go get food etc but far enough away that we still felt like we were in the middle of no where haha! Overall 10/10 experience!
- Ashika (6/5): A pretty getaway from the city life! - It’s a cute getaway and an experience from everyday activities. It’s also easily accessible to nearby locations and towns It might be due to summer but the place gets heated up pretty quickly and we need to use to air conditioner throughout.
The porch light was not working so it’s also quite head to come till the property at night.
- Anna (10/5): would highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to destress and get away from the city! - nice and relaxing space. far enough away from the main house and secluded
- Isabel (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Such a lovely spot. Rich and Angie were so kind and communicative. Had a great relaxing weekend.
- Carla (8/5): A beautiful stay in a great location! - Loved the property! It was really pretty, well kept, quiet and in a great destination to travel to nearby activities and places to eat. The host was super accomodating and always happy to help. I would recommend for a peaceful stay. The views of the little lake on the property were lovely and some neighbouring sheep were a really cute addition. I loved everything about this tiny home except the eco friendly toilet just wasn't for me. The bathroom and toilet was very well kept and super clean and I have no issues and I was 100% aware this was a eco friendly toilet, overall would still recommend for a weekend getaway.
- Phil (9/5): Superb -
- Sylvia (10/5): We highly recommend this place for any single traveller or couples looking for a quick getaway at the Hawkesbury/ Ku - Our stay at the Tiny House was wonderful and memorable! The house was small but very clean and cosy. It is also equipped with cooking equipment for you to do any cooking. The view outside the house is also truly spectacular! The hosts were both hospitable and quick to reply to any of our questions.
The property is located near North Richmond and Kurrajong Town where you can find grocery stores, restaurants and cafes! It is also near to Bilpin where you can find enjoy fresh fruits from the local orchard or explore the wildwood gardens. It is also a quick drive to the vale of Avoca lookout (but make sure you drive an SUV for this one!). The menu of the bar could be expanded. Perhaps include a simple dinner menu.
- Yin (8/5): Very good -
- Elene (7/5): Good - Easy to find, good view from the house. The house was close to the road and other house which made it a bit noisy. The house it self had everything you needed but was super clean with the drain in the shower being blocked and hair products left in the shower.
- Jasmine (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (8/5): Great will recommend! - Ok Nothing
- Ruwan (8/5): Had a nice experience and the view was amazing 🤩 - Everything was nicely organized and had a nice view . AC needs to be more efficient.
- Dover661 (10/5): Tiny home, huge charm. - Rich and Ange looked after us so well, they even hosted a nice evening dinner for us up at their little bar/tavern. We would happily stay again with the beautiful view and comfortable tiny home. Snake season, but didn't see any snakes! Perhaps that's not a bad thing then.
- Kangzhe (10/5): Idyllic scenery and cozy cabins. - More accessible by car, there are buses to the lodge but not often. The spectacular scenery and comfortable accommodation are irresistible. nothing
- Sharne (6/5): Great scenery maybe not for summer stays 😊 - We loved the scenery and the set up of the place it was tidy. Unfortunately wasn’t aware of the compost toilet attached to the bathroom. And because of a hot day it wasn’t pleasant. The dishes, coffee plunger and cups unfortunately were not clean and we had to reclean. There also wasn’t enough toilet paper so we had to go and buy some.
