Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (10/5): Fab location & similar sized rooms, we’d stay again! - The location was excellent! The fact that each room had its own ensuite was brilliant, something we’ve not come across before. The steep steps to the 2nd floor rooms. Just had to make sure we were extra careful. One of the bedrooms had no hot water but that was due to the installation of solar panels, we finally got hot water on the last day. We were able to use the spare bedroom to shower.
- EDGAR (9/5): Very good location, nice place - Perfect location and very comfy! Wifi does not work properly.
- Robbie (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (9/5): comfortable, central, and value for money - The house is lovely Lander was really helpful, the location was brilliant right in the centre. Very comfortable beds and it was great that all rooms have an ensuite. The only thing that I think could be better is a TV in the lounge, this is only as we were in a group of couples, with one newly widowed friend, and she would have liked to stay up with us all and watch a movie, but it was all good because of course we could chat.
- Gail (10/5): Excellent place to stay would stay again. - Great location and wonderful property with great sized bedrooms and facilities for everyone. Some wonderful little touches for guests. Quick and helpful communication from the owner. Nothing
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (9/5): It was a lovely house in a great location - good comms with the owners - would stay again/recommend - The location was brilliant - in the heart of Bruges but in a quiet side street. The property was spacious and clean and well equipped. Bonus was the 4 en-suite facilities - no queuing for the bathroom! The hosts were very friendly :) The stairwell to the top floor is very steep - appreciate it would be very expensive to replace these. Joint access could have been made a little clearer and perhaps keys to bedrooms provided because of this? Possibly some seating could be provided in the outside space.
- Penelope (8/5): The perfect location in Bruges - The location is excellent, being close to everything. The beds are comfortable and communication with the host was good. Good accommodation for a group. The carpets and decor could do with a refresh and the staircase to the upper two bedrooms is very steep, so bear in mind if you are elderly or there are people with mobility issues in your group.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Great place with a very welcoming host. Provided us with lots of recommendations. The location of the place is great and it was very clean with lots of cooking equipment etc. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Only 1 very minor criticism is the four poster bed at the top floor was very creaky and was extremely loud even when getting in and out of bed. Aside from this minor issue there really isn’t anything we didn’t like.
- David (9/5): Couldn't fault it. Excellent value for money for our party which consisted of 4 couples. - Location was superb. So close to all the major attractions in Bruges. You could say everything was just 'Around the Corner'. Restaurants, bars and a very good supermarket were within 2-3 minutes walk. Possibly the best way to sum up is 'location, location, location! Although very near the centre, we were not distubed by traffic or any other noise. The visitor information provided was excellent, with suggested itineraries for different lengths of stay. As with many properties and hotels, I would like to see brighter lighting in some rooms.
- Flora (8/5): Very good -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Sandeep (6/5): Pleasant - Location was perfect right in the city and a very short walk to all the squares. Breakfast/lunch/dinner cafes literally next door.
Host had left beers in a crate with a honesty payment of €3 for each one, which is a good price. Having Locks on bathroom doors especially if you are sharing the room with someone that isn’t your partner e.g siblings or kids. One of the shower door was hanging off its rollers and nearly fell, had to sit it back in the rollers.
- Thomas (9/5): A family friendly place for a group. Bruges is beautiful, this is the place to stay! - This home is in the middle of everything for Bruges. Literally around the corner from a coffee shop, bar, grocery and restaurants. Everything is only a few minutes walk. The home has a kitchen, baths in every bedroom, and a responsive owner for questions. We were happy and don’t have any criticisms.
- Debs (9/5): Superb -
- Mariana (9/5): Superb - Location was wonderful. Close to everything we needed and wanted to visit. wonderful cheese shop next door and a short walk to the grocery store. Lander leaves lots of information to help with the visit. We had some trouble with mosquitos. The stairs are steep.
- Nichole (9/5): Fantastic house in a fabulous location. Would recommend - We loved the house - there were 6 of us staying, 2 couples and my 2 daughters, and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The downstairs area was lovely and there was even a little outside area. The house was clean with everything you could possibly need and Landor, the owner, was friendly and checked in with us on a couple of occasions. The location was fantastic, super close to the main areas but on a quiet street. We had been warned about the scaffolding and the work being done on the roof so knew what to expect Nothing about the property. I didn’t realize the concierge stayed onsite so we got a bit of a shock seeing him on the stairs when we opened the door to come in on the 1st night. We didn’t see or hear him again so sharing the front door was no big deal. I think I’d missed the information in the property details. There were a few early starts with the work going on but it wasn’t a massive issue and we knew what to expect before going
- Carrie (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, exactly as described. Comfortable beds, and super responsive staff. Would absolutely recommend!
- Arturo (10/5): Perfect - EVERYTHING, the property itself, location
- Lynne (8/5): Very good - Perfect location
Well equipped
Comfortable beds
- Tracie (9/5): Would recommend. - Location was fab, host was very helpful and friendly. It was overall lovely, the only minor observations I would make were the carpets could do with updating in the bedrooms and bathroom needed a bit of freshening up.
- Rolf (10/5): A pleasant 3-night stay in a really nice apartment. - Location, just perfect. Short distance to "everything", couldn't be better. Host gave a good tour on arrival, showing us where everything was, and how things worked. Practical info in a small book with instructions. Not possible to improve this, but somthing people need to be aware of: The two rooms on top need to be accessed by a really steep stairs. If you have problems with your legs you might have some struggle reaching these rooms.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
