Guest Reviews
- Véro (9/5): Véronique et Patrick - Trop bel endroit, calme surtout Rien
- Krzysztof (8/5): -
- Timothy (8/5): -
- grzegorz (10/5): - Spokoj cisza swietna lokalizacja i wyposazenie domu Brak
- Renata (9/5): -
- João (9/5): Warm, cozy location in the Ardennes woods. - Perfect and peaceful location near the woods, just between Coo and Durbuy.
Great comfort, comfortable temperature and lots of ammenities (from several towels to snacks/coffee/tea upon arrival)
Extra points for an included terrace, which unfortunately wasn't used due to the snow. It could use curtains in the entrance / kitchen for added privacy while in that room.

- Lisa (8/5): Accommodation for Grand Prix - Comfortable bed & nice bathroom. Private parking and bike storage. Lovely supermarket within 5 min cycle. Hosts were very accommodating allowing us to park there early. The cottage was fine as we were out all day at grandprix. Car needed as very hilly.
It is very basic but all the essentials are there. No oven or dishwasher but they were not advertised. It is in a remote area so car/bikes needed.
- Nathalie (7/5): -
- Zac (10/5): Had 3 days exploring so good base - Cool in heat Nothing
- Kris (8/5): Perfect for a short stay - Charming small house in a tiny village. The house has everything that you need and was perfect for the weekend that we were there. It is quite remote and you do need a car to get to the local shops. Proxy Delhaize in Ferrieres is well stocked, great baker a short drive away (l'atelier du theatre du pain) and a nice little restaurant (le Santé Bonheur).
There are hiking and cycling paths nearby or it is a good base to visit towns in the surrounding area. A door to the bathroom might be nice :-) but it's fine for a couple.
Also the sensor to the light on the stairs could be better directed (don't know if it is possible). If you are coming up in the dark, the light comes on only when you are at the top.
There is a bbq but unfortunately some previous guest has left it in a disgusting state so you won't want to use it. Not the fault of the hosts, just some inconsiderate guest.
- Itziar (9/5): Lovely house, would love to stay here again - Lovely little house in a hamlet. The house was clean and well kitted out. The bike wash station out the front was also great to clean muddy boots and muddy dog paws after a hike. Host was very friendly and helpful. A very short drive to a good supermarket that even opens on sundays and sells local produce. Lots of nice hikes less than 20mins drive away. Not really something I disliked per se but something that could be helpful in future is a washing machine.
- Marie (8/5): Lovely house where dogs are allowed - Although the location feels remote the nearby villages are not far away. Parking is available in fromt of the house. The house itself has an interesting lay-out but is quite charming, where the bedroom is by far the biggest room in the house. It's quite well stocked, including quite a lot of pans and pots, kitchen utensils, some spices, (tea)towels, and barbeque equipment. Plenty of space outside for our dog to explore, lovely that he could join us! There is a lot to do, but you do need a car to get around. During out visit there was quite some heavy farming machinery being driven around, even very late at night. In general outside sounds can keep you up at night (neigbours talking, some barking dogs, etc) Nothing to be done about that, but beware if you are a light sleeper. The bed is small. Other than that some small things, like missing pillows for the terrace. Nothing that ruined our vacation though!
- Guillaume (9/5): Superb - It was very nice, simple but very well furnished with all comfort and kitchen equipment one would need. People around were helpful and friendly.
- Daan (9/5): Excellent - Very cosy and clean little place. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, bathroom was very clean with modern walk-in rain shower.
Internet connection was fast and the TV had access to all Belgian and international channels, plus streaming services. The sofa in the living room was uncomfortable, very hard on the back.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (10/5): Fantastic little house at a perfect location in the Ardennes. - It was larger than we expected and had all utilities that we wished for. Easy parking right in front of the door, terrace when the sun is out, fast wifi with a TV & chromecast to stream, induction plate cooking. Price/quality for our stay was amazing, we would love to come back!
- Liezl (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cosy holiday home.
- Bruna (6/5): good for two people, no more - - master bedroom upstairs was very nice and big so was the bathroom
- mosquito nets - washing machine stated in the description was not there
- double sofa bed in the living room downstairs was too short even for a 12 years old kid (and with "mattress" a bit stained)
- full of flies, we could not eat in the dining table outside and we had to keep door closed (windows has mosquito nets luckily)
