• Laura (10/5): Beautiful, spacious home close to downtown! - Beautiful and spacious home close to downtown! The parking was tricky, but easy once we understood where to go.
• William (10/5): Wonderful place to use as base for exploring Ypres and the region - Perfect location and spotless. Easy parking and easy access. Could walk to centre in 5 minutes but house is in peaceful street. Nothing was bad broken or uncared for.

• Daniel (9/5): Beautiful property it a great location - It’s a beautiful property and located a short walk away from the centre of Ypres Several floors and well presented. The owners are very polite and accommodating. I have used this property on a number of occasions now for visits the WW1 battlefields. This trip I took my wife and three young children, we laid a wreath and spent the following day at the theme park which is only 11 minutes away.
• Sarah (9/5): Excellent property, great location and great stay! - The property was excellent, in a great location, clean and tidy and very well supplied with all the kitchen facilities. The bedrooms were good sizes and comfortable. The garage is a plus as we could put the van away and forget about it for the days we were there, knowing it was nice and safe. We did have a problem with a system fault on the boiler, so no heat or hot water for a day, but Frank and Annick responded really quickly and fixed the issue. So only a small inconvenience and did not spoil the stay at all. Overall, a great place and we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Only negative thing was that We think cats had been in the house as my friend is very allergic so we had to spend more time out than we planned to, and had to get medication. We could have planned differently if we had known this in advance.

• Karen (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - The house is fantastic, location perfect, amenities were everything I needed and more. I visited with a group of friends and we really had a great time and could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. My family have all listened to how great my visit was so I will be booking again next year as they want to experience Ypres and the fantastic cat house! Nothing to dislike, we all loved everything about the house.

• Gordon (9/5): Superb - Comfortably housed a group of seven for a week or so. Great location, parking for 3 cars was never a problem, nice bar across the street for a beer in the sunshine and the centre is just a 5 minute stroll. Never met the hosts but communication was great, everything was really easy on arrival. Only negatives were the WiFi could be a little unreliable, our mattress was pretty hard (top floor) and there was no colander for draining pasta etc but that was it. Recommended.

• Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - The location, a short walk from the big square was excellent. The house was spacious and comfortable. There was more than enough comfortable seatig for our party of 6. Unfortunately there was no dedicated parking. However, the host directed us to Minneplein, where there was free parking most of the time.

• Graham (10/5): Brilliant! - What a lovely place to stay. It’s a lovely house, so comfortable and clean. Brilliant location and the garage, two doors down was so useful, we managed to get seven motorbikes in there! A lovely quiet location but just a few minutes walk to Al the main squares with all the bars, restaurants and stunning architecture.

• Neil (10/5): Fantastic Property - Fantastic property in the centre of town. Large house, well-appointed and exceptionally clean, and comfortable. Excellent garaged parking, which easily accommodated 5 motorbikes. Would definitely stay here again.

We appreciated the coffee machine, the free parking and the amount of space to relax in the house. It's only a small point - the house could only be unlocked and locked by one phone belonging to one of our group. It wasn't clear whether other people can also access the same app and ability to lock and unlock the house on their own phone.

The glass door in the lounge needs something to make it stand out as my brother bumped into it.

On the Friday and Saturday nights we’re disturbed at 2.45 am with the loud banging music coming from the bar opposite, even ear plugs wouldn’t keep out the noise.

• James (8/5): The accommodation was lovely,let down by lack of heating.which we notified the owner about. - Location and cleanliness No heating in top 2 bedrooms as it was November cold and wet this was essential. Noisy bar on opposite corner,loud music late until 2.20am

• Desmond (8/5): Very good - The house was perfectly located for 8 adults and 2 cars to stay in ieper. We're a group all aged in our 60s and 70s and we were not prepared for all of the stairs which were quite steep. As one of the ways that we dealt with this we left our luggage downstairs

Our host annick went above and beyond to help us and everything from the hand over to the facilities were excellent. We especially liked the use of the garage to store our 5 motorcycles .The location and the space in the property far exceeded ou expectations. There was nothing I didn't like apart from having to come home,I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Lounge and dining room lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed. A great place to stay, we hope to visit again in the future. Everything was fine.
