- Claudia (10/5): - Mooi comfortabel huisje Niks

- Ria (10/5): super fantastisch verblijf !!! - heel mooie locatie, supervriendelijke gastvrouw en de woning was heel comfortabel een kleine tip : voorzie wat meer potten en pannen,
- Kate (10/5): Comfortable, spacious accommodation in the countryside. - Marjan is so welcoming and friendly. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. The bedrooms are really comfortable and spacious too. We cooked for ourselves on two evenings and ate out once in Ieper. As the weather was wet, we did not sit outside but the garden looked nice. Being in the countryside it is very quiet. Marjan has provided plenty of useful tourist information, catering both for those exploring the WWI sites, and the other local attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Niets
- Deborah (9/5): We would certainly consider staying here again. No complaints - The cottage was in a quiet, rural location. Modern and beautifully decorated.
All rooms were a good size. Beds comfortable. Excellent parking right by the cottage. It was especially nice to watch the owners’ horses from the windows
Owner very friendly and helpful There was no lock on the bathroom - toilet door!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location , perfect hosts , wonderful cottage Nothing :-(
- Michael (10/5): A perfect holiday cottage to visit the WW1 memorial sites - We liked the layout, the location and had great views. We used it as a base for visiting the WW1 memorial sites mainly by cycle and also visiting Saint Omer and the Somme by car. Would struggle to find something, biggest issue was having to leave it to come home.
- Bernd (10/5): Exceptional - We absolutely loved the place. Very spacious, beautifully decorated and very quiet it was the perfect retreat after the busy days at the Olympics in Lille. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpfull.
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mieke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Skipster101 (10/5): Great location for a vacation. - Our hostess was the mostest! Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Even took us to our party venue when there was no transport available. Lovely peaceful place to stop. As above.
- Martin (10/5): Delightful cottage in Belgian countryside - Attractive large and comfortable detached cottage tastefully decorated with quality fittings located in the grounds of the owner’s property. Very quiet location and with an easy 15 minute drive to Ypres. The owner was very helpful and friendly but not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Cottage d’Hoge Schure.
- Denise (10/5): Great house in a good location. - Fabulous house - comfortable and spotlessly clean. Parking was right outside the door. The host lives next door and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great stay and would like to return. Nothing to dislike.
- Tom (8/5): Very good - The location of the house is wonderful in a very calm surroundings. Large kitchen, 2 big rooms, all very clean. Felt very welcome by the hosts.
- Josephine (10/5): Perfect for a peaceful break, good location if Visiting Ypres. Would definitely stay there again. - Proximity to Ypres was great, only a short drive away. The house was in a very peaceful location, no other properties nearby, set amongst arable farmland. The cleanliness of property was superb, and the absence of light pollution provides guests with the ability to get a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. Marian was lovely, a good host and friendly. She was very attentive without being intrusive. The wood burner made for cosy evenings, and logs are provided for you free of charge. There is a Match supermarket about 3-4 km away, or a Lidl outside Ypres, about a 5km drive. It is also less than an hour’s drive to Bruges, which is well worth a visit. No downstairs toilet, some difficulty finding the property but these are minor issues.
- Tracey (8/5): Lovely kind host - Marjan is an extremely friendly and caring host and we were invited to ask for anything that we needed. As the host property and stables open up into the cottage garden we were able to see them and talk everyday and Marjan was kind towards my elderly Mum. It was very cool to be able to sit under a sunshade in the garden as it was over 30 degrees whilst we were there, and most days it was peaceful. The kitchen was very spacious and provided a great setting for our evenings entertainment. Everywhere was tastefully decorated and there were beautiful world war art pieces. We were privileged to be based in what was such a historical place in Flanders Fields. The extreme heatwave in Belgium was something that our hosts could not control or we could have planned for and it was difficult to sleep at night in the heat. It was too hot to take advantage of the local sights, but we hope to visit again in the future.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sally (10/5): a perfect cosy home from home! - beautiful house in a lovely location, close to the towns but ideally suited for the tourist highlights. really cosy, great beds, with every little extra to make the trip perfect. nil
- Kevin (10/5): A great cottage with a very warm welcome from the host, the cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean, everythi - A great cottage with everything you need to feel at home, very well located and equipped
