• Nichola (9/5): Loved the property and the location and would happily rebook this home. Suited us perfectly - Great location and well appointed. Comfortable beds and great location. Agents very accommodating. No pillow cases came in the linen. Vacuum cleaner battery operated and does not last long enough to do whole house on vacate. BBQ Gas bottle completely empty.

• Aleesha (5/5): Great location. Neat, large house. Definitely NOT pet friendly. - Location was great. Great size rooms and living areas. Ducted heating is a nice touch for the cooler months. Lovely walking track to beach. Lots of dvds supplied with no dvd player. No wifi so we weren’t able to stream any music or shows, with also little to no phone reception for both Telstra and Optus. Tv in back lounge room didn’t have a remote. Both vacuums were very poor quality. Flooring and ceiling in kitchen needs repairs. Neighbour yelled through the fence at us for being “too loud” at 2pm, middle of the day! No bins in any of the bathrooms or toilets. Property IS NOT pet friendly and needs to stop being advertised as such. Property isn’t fenced and you are threatened with eviction and no refund if an animal is seen inside. The outdoor screen room had ripped screens allowing mosquitos and bugs in and pets out.

• Euan (4/5): With a few changes, this place should get a lot of traffic as it is mostly nice... - The house is really nicely finished and overall, very comfortable. The furniture is also nice and 'homely' and the location, with a short walk to the beach, fantastic... New flooring and kitchen is beautiful. Lighting is also warm. I think, for the price, you factor in things like tea towels, paper towels, additional bin liners and very simple things. There's more wine glasses than cutlery and utensils. The information on the dogs was vague. It says that dogs are welcome, then, you're advised upon arrival that they are to be outside and without fence protection. This area was communicated really poorly. No wifi? It's understandable to encourage outdoor activities but wifi has become a standard, not a luxury. One of the TV remotes is also missing. A couple of cockroaches in the house. Unsure if the pest spray is up to date. We left the house cleaner than when we arrived which is disappointing, especially after reading the rules and once again, for the price of the stay.
• Jeff (7/5): Great location, great house. Owners need to protect their investment by bringing the agents to task - The location was great. Exactly as described and expected. The house was spacious and well-equipped with cutlery, crockery, glasses, entertainment, pot pans, etc. Unlike any other place we have stayed, and the list of places is extensive, there was no manual to provide basic info such as local geography, route to the beach, or household guide (except a note on the fridge to remind us that dogs have to remain outside) operation of the air con (might seem minor but important nonetheless) Neither remote had batteries for the two TVs in the house, and only one worked. (again might seem minor but essential nonetheless) What really lets the house down was how dirty everything was and how neglected it all was including the back garden. Many crockery and pots/pans were visibly dirty, and the lights over the sink were filthy. The top edges of the bathroom tiles were covered in dust, and the filter in the dryer was full of fluff. The ensuite sink was blocked and stinking and there was filthy build-up around the taps. I do not see this as negative feedback about the house. As such, it is, however, aimed at whoever is responsible for ensuring that the standards and cleanliness of the property are maintained and appropriate for holidaymakers paying market rates.
