- Alan (8/5): Relaxing, roomy and good for a group of friends. Thanks - The space. Number of bathrooms The WIFI was dreadful, this needs to be upgraded.
- Bindu (10/5): -
- Katelyn (10/5): -
- Jodie (9/5): Great stay, beautiful home to relax in, kids loved the pool and space to ride around. Beds were very comfortable and the - The lay out and cleanliness Minor issue but the internet does not work
- Barbara (9/5): Spacious Clean Accomodation for Bigger Groups. - Beautiful spot! It was hot so the pool was much appreciated. The house is so roomy with great size bedrooms, two ensuites and a main bathroom( disabled friendly). The kitchen was well equipped and there is a bbq. Would highly recommend for groups. We were in Stanthorpe in a heatwave and there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms (fans were provided). There appeared to be a heating system for winter and a nice fireplace which caters for usual Stanthorpe weather however.
- Neal (9/5): Excellent - Liked the small touches like condiments in cupboard, cling wrap and other similar items being provided. No wifi
- Daniel (10/5): Weekend in Stanthorpe - Beautiful property, spacious and well sized to accommodate all guests. Lots of facilities and a very well equipped kitchen, cozy and comfortable living room. Ample parking spaces. Great location, just a short drive away from the town center. Easy check in instructions. Did not have a chance to make use of the pool/bbq area but it would have been lots of fun. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended for large groups or families. Extra kudos for the accessibility features all around the accomodation. Nothing. The property was exactly what we were looking for

- Natalie (9/5): Perfect location, very comfortable, clean and great for large family. - This property was perfect for two families of four to stay together and not be in each other's laps. Great all round!! If staying in summer, ceiling fans in rooms or air-conditioning would be beneficial for comfort. Also, maybe access to Wi-fi so streaming services could be accessed.
- Judy (8/5): Stanthorpe! - We really loved the location & the different areas of the house for relaxing & chatting. We would like to advise you re the bbq.
It was VERY dangerous when we turned it on & could have caused a SEVERE burning to the person turning it on.
The controls on the bbq are in need of urgent repair, especially on the left hand side of the bbq. Quite dangerous!
Also with 3 bedrooms in use in one part of the house & 1 bathroom, it would really be great to have extra towel rails in there. Perhaps a heated rail in there would be great.
- Phil (10/5): Ticks all the boxes - Beautiful home with a great entertaining layout including the bbq area, indoor/outdoor extension, fire pit, large kitchen, comfortable lounge with fireplace. Very suitable for our family gathering. Love the view out the back -the bush, the granite. Location is perfect only just outside of town. Like others have said the fireplace just doesn’t want to heat the room even following the recommendations.
While I don’t care for wifi it would have been handy to connect to the tv for a footy game.
Gardens will need some loving soon.
- Teneille (10/5): Absolutely perfect location and stunning home, would definitely return - Absolutely stunning Nothing
- Tara (10/5): -
- Shekinah (10/5): - Beautiful spacious house, cozy lounge room with fire placed stocked with wood! Lovely surrounding views.
- Private (5/5): Thank you but I wouldn't return. - The house was in a great location—close to town—and spacious enough for two families, with plenty of potential to be a lovely stay in autumn or spring. However, there were a few things that made our stay less comfortable than expected. The house was very cold, and aside from the fireplace (which didn’t heat the entire space), there were no other heaters provided. This makes me assume it would also be very hot in summer, as there were no air conditioning units. The hot water in the showers wasn’t really hot—especially uncomfortable in such a cold house. The stove light didn’t work, which made cooking difficult; I had to use my phone torch to see. There was a coffee machine, but no coffee capsules were provided, which was a bit disappointing. We also received a note on arrival mentioning a quick changeover and asking us to text if we left earlier than 10am. It made us feel rushed before we had even settled in.
- Renae (8/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Great location, big spacious home. - Big spacious house. Love the fire place. Pool would be great in warmer weather. Everything was available. Nothing
- Lynette (8/5): Lots of room for the family. Loved the area. - Great stay for the family quiet area and lots of room for the grandchildren to roam. Kangaroos coming near the house
- Yvette (9/5): Cosy home great location - Cosy 5 bedroom home great for 10 women sharing No wifi so no Netflix etc on tvs not majorly important but nice to have a choice and the photo of the breakfast hamper on bookings pics you don’t get that you get a pack of Tim tams
- Terisha (8/5): Very good - Cleanliness and location. Floor plan layout No wifi

- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional - Our third stay at this house, so think that says it all.
- Bernardine (10/5): We had a lovely stay in this wonderful home - Beautiful and Peaceful location. The home was large ( 5 bed and 3 bathrooms) and well supplied - including high chairs, disabled access and good kitchen with Pod Coffee machine. We also saw kangaroos on a regular basis in the back yard. Nothing
- Madeline (10/5): Exceptional - Size of the house, quality of the linen, floor plan. Very very clean!!
- Nicole (10/5): A beautiful stay, getting back to nature with family! - Incredible house in a beautiful, picturesque location. We had an amazing time here for my mother's 80th. a little slippery on tiles near the pool.

- Jenny (9/5): Spacious modern house on a large lot close to town - Clean spacious house, plenty of room for 2 families.
The kangaroos and wallabies that come up to the house at dawn and dusk.
The owners are responsive to any queries.
My dad complains about everything and for once he was very happy. Its expensive but its a lovely house and we will stay again.
- Nettie (9/5): Superb -
- Po (8/5): Overall very nice place - Very spacious and cosy house.
The fire pit is awesome my uncle loves it.
Good location very private but close to town. Dish washer didn't work.

- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dan (7/5): Great for family and or friends catch-up - The space of living areas and kitchen, great fireplace and outdoor firepit with lots of firewood available..
Bedrooms well setup including providing adequate towels The central heating was not functioning and no instructions available for operating the heating. So only living spaces warm from fireplace leaving bedrooms cold.
- Ari (10/5): The house was an excellent place for our group to enjoy our stay in Stanthorpe - The property is in a quiet location not far from the centre of Stanthorpe. It is very roomy with plenty of seating for all guests. Very clean and large rooms for everyone to enjoy. Kangaroos can be seen in the yard on the mornings and afternoons. The swimming pool would great in summer. There is plenty of entertaining space for everyone. Definitely a place to stay again. Nothing comes to mind.
- Susan (9/5): Very relaxing will be back - Secluded house. Very quiet could enjoy the bush land sounds. Heaps of room and a great fireplace
Everything you could need in the kitchen. Close to town and the wineries.
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic accommodation and location and lots of fine touches which were appreciated. -
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Natasha (9/5): Was a very pleasant stay and we all had a lovely time. - The house was beautiful and a few little homely touches made it cosy. Location was good as a base to visit the local stops. The packet of Tim tams left was a nice touch. There wasn’t anything in particular we didn’t like.
- Katrina (10/5): Repeat Customers - This is the second stay 50 Hale Haven.
The house is always clean, and the facilities offered are great. Great house for a large group, as plenty of space inside and out.
- Teresa (10/5): This property was a perfect for our large group to use as a base during our weekend stay - Exceptionally clean and very well appointed Everything was exactly as presented in the listing
- Huw (8/5): Very good -
- Emily (10/5): This property was a great find. I am already planning my next trip and have recommended to several friends. - The location of this property was exceptional. A slice of serenity. It was the perfect location for our family reunion and the setting added to that special time. We have stayed in many places across the globe and all agreed that this was one of the most special. Nothing!
- Michael (10/5): Awesome house with plenty of space and privacy. Great for star gazers and those with kids. - Large block for the kids to explore, well away from the neighbours with great privacy. The lights in the rear room near the pool were a bit difficult to locate. (they are in the kitchen for those who are looking).
- Carmel (8/5): Great house and well situated with only a short drive into Stanthorpe - Great house for our annual family get together plus the Apple and Grape Festival. The pool was fabulous as it was one of the hottest weekends for Stanthorpe. Ceiling fans in the other four bedrooms. It was so hot and no circulation of air. Would be brilliant in the cooler months.
- Sandie (9/5): Superb - Awesome pool and a great entertainment area.
Dealing with the owners was super easy and rhey were extremely friendly.
The house was close to town so really handy to grab things if needed from shops
- Clarke (10/5): Lovely family time - House facilities & bedrooms were very good. Could do with a blender & grater. Pool fountain didn’t work & no wifi. I understand the concept of no wifi but still better to let occupants choose to use or not.
- Karen (9/5): We absolutely loved this property and were extremely impressed with everything about it. - We love the big house, multiple bedrooms, big indoor dining table and the pool was amazing. The BBQ and outdoor area was spacious and lovely. The host supplied beach towels which we were surprised to see but very appreciative of. Would be good to have a wifi connection.
- Jonathon_95 (10/5): Wish our stay was longer! - Great layout and pool + outlook was so nice Could do with a few extra utensils/pans and some paper towel in the kitchen. Super minor
- Michele (10/5): Privacy and amazing experience for everyone - Amazing views and beautiful house, so much space and room to move around for the family. Very inviting and comfortable, clean and tidy. All the little convenient touches were a nice bonus(kitchen condiments and toiletries, extra towels). Had so much fun in the pool and made good use of the bbq. Privacy was a nice bonus too.
Had planned several outtings but the house was too good to leave.
A very nice experience for everyone.
Exceeded my expectations, really didnt want to leave. Very minor, Baked a few dishes in oven but had time delay with limited space.

- Marilyn (9/5): Perfect for a group of friends who are looking for a cosy getaway - The house was situated about 5 minutes away from the shops which was very convenient. The check-in process was fuss-free. The host sent a message on the day of check-in/out to make sure we were looked after. The house is huge - photos on the website didn't quite do it justice! The space was perfect for a group of 9 friends. Also loved the fireplace and the swimming pool would have been great in summer.
- Lara (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing family weekend. We loved the house. Very clean and comfortable.
- Jacqueline (9/5): The perfect place for a large group visiting Girraween and the local wineries. Warm and comfortable. - It was fantastic to have five good bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and lots of space. Fireplace was fantastic, well set up and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds comfortable, house very clean and it was perfect for 5 couples. Hot water didn’t run out which was great and the electric blankets were super welcome! No hairdryer and no Wi-Fi. Minor but for the money we would’ve expected them.
- Trish (10/5): mangnificent - spacious, great fireplace and location no hairdryer not a deal breaker at all
- Bree (10/5): Exceptional - We had a fabulous stay at 50 Hale Haven !
Well appointed , large but cozy home. Perfect for our weekend family getaway.

- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional - As a group of 9 this house catered to us beautifully. Everyone had their own spacious double bedroom, no fighting over single beds.
The long dining table meant we could all enjoy the meals we could cook in the well appointed kitchen together.
The house has a wonderful "home" feel especially with the fireplace going.

- Damian (9/5): Superb -
- Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - The place was centralized and close to many wineries. The property itself was amazing and had everything we needed. The pictures don't do the place justice. It was absolutely a beautiful house and we will definitely be back. There should be WiFi considering the reception isn't great out there.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - The house is very well set up for large groups with all facilities you hope for. It's close to town so you can spend your time wisely instead of travelling. The feel is fresh and modern.
- Nancy (10/5): we had a fantastic weekend away with friends! Thank you! - Everything nothing
- Deidre (9/5): 50 Hale Haven is an excellent place to stay for a Girls Weekend - can highly recommend! - The house was wonderful, plenty of space to spread out, the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit were a treat to use, and the location of the property was excellent. The property is close to town but you feel as though you are in a lovely rural setting. The breakfast hamper that we purchased (at a reasonable additional cost) was just perfect with lovely fresh bread and ingredients to make a scrumptious breakfast. The owner was extremely prompt and helpful in responding to a small issue that arose during our stay. Nothing that we didn't like. A small suggestion would be to look at adding an Electric Vehicle charging point outside.
- Larissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (9/5): End of Season Netball Committee Getaway - The house is so functional. 8 people staying but never felt on top of one another. Fabulous location close to town. Very peaceful location everything you need. A coffee machine was the only thing missing. Not essential but handy to have.
