Guest Reviews
- Joanna (7/5): - The location is out of Cessnock, so fairly quiet, and lovely to be close to horses and wildlife. It could have been cleaner - hairs in some of the cupboards, dried food in the colander, bbq unusable. One of the bedroom fly screens fell off, as did the bathroom towel rail.
- Leah (6/5): It is a lovely home however we were left a bit disappointed due to the broken key and spa situation. - Good area, loved the coziness of the property and great idea with the tiny home and spa outside area. The spa was very dirty and not very enjoyable. We only went in for 10 minutes then left as there was a bad smell and dirt floating around the water. Which was sad as this was the main reason we picked this property and we didn’t use it. Also when we are arrived to pick the key up in the lock box there was half a key in the lock box and the other half of the key was jammed in the lock. So we could only lock from the inside. We had to put our valuables back in our car every time we left as we could not lock the home. We messaged the host via the phone number and also via booking.com about the key situation as soon as we arrived and we received no response.

- Kira (6/5): Consider the weather before you book - extremely hot! - The location was pretty and very serene, the place had good amenities and outdoor spaces It was unbearably hot inside, couldn’t not stay there during the day. Had to run the aircon 24/7 to get it to a bearable temperate, and had to sit inside with all the blinds closed. The dishes provided were dirty, and we had issues with getting in and out of the electric gate each evening and host was unresponsive.
- Lemon (5/5): Execution just not quite there. - The concept of the tiny home is cute and the location was good. It was nice watching kangaroos out the window in the morning. Linen was clean. For the price, I feel the execution could be better. The rusty bbq, old broken door mat and one outside chair set the scene when we arrived. I'm not sure what it is about accommodation offering large bottles of sower gels and shampoos for guest use, I feel it's unnecessary, but at least if you are going to supply this have matching bottles and not the largest pump back of Palmolive aldi sells. For the luxury price, this did not set the luxury vibe. I'm glad we were only using it as a base while visiting family.

- Sumi (3/5): - Was in a good Location.
Natural beauty.
Size of tiny house was good enough for a couple. poorly managed property.
Cleanliness was not maintained ( found lots of hairs and stains on bed sheets and doona cover, lots of spiders and spider waves, dusty sofa and cushion)
no response from Host upon contacting ( also contacted guest experience executive, however no action was taken).

- Hareem (8/5): It was pretty good - It was noce peaceful place and near to every place like markets ,shops and vineyards and restaurants and internet was good and place was nice but at night it became freezing because no heaters but rest was very good experience must try that place Location and peace and it feels like home
- Kellie (10/5): Great stay, brilliant location - Loved the hot tub and the tiny home was just gorgeous! The horses were entertained by our hot tub banter
Everything was so clean and today and the bed was super comfortable

- Alexandra (7/5): Nice stay, lacking facilities advertised - Clean, easy to access, responsive host. Bathroom and hot water was fantastic considering it being an ‘off the grid’ home. A little disappointed that we specifically were looking for a property with a spa/hot tub, only to arrive and be allocated one of two tiny houses on the property, the one that did not have the hot tub as advertised.
- David Sandomierski (10/5): -
- Valentina (8/5): Very good -
- Scalora (6/5): Good just wish it was cleaner - Location to newy and Cessnock Needs to be cleaned better especially inside the drawers/ under sofa and flooring is probably on its way out
- Evie (7/5): Good -
- Andreia (9/5): A comfortable and quiet location close to everything. - The bed was very comfy, as was the entire tiny house. Loved the quiet location too. But so close to town.
Watching the sunsets was lovely. More comfy outdoor chairs would have been great.
- Susma (10/5): Will definitely be back on my next tour - Its cozy and comfy ,perfect spot livein for a couplewho are looking for peace stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations
- Carys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Fantastic - It is beautiful Na

- Maria (7/5): Relaxing weekend in a tiny house :) - We had a lovely weekend in the Odyssean tiny house. We loved the proximity to the horses, which we could actually pet. The location is great and very convenient. The only improvement would be adding some extra touches, like a coffee machine or small details, to make the experience more special
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isaiah (8/5): Wonderful stay but with some suggestions - Great location, peaceful and lovely tiny home. Property sits on a working horse stable so people come and go regularly. Every one was very friendly and it was lovely to wake up and see the horses. Cleanliness of the property was average, hair in the shower, dust around the sofa and dirt on the bed. No hand soap in the tiny home, had to buy our own. Laminate was peeling above the door and hanging down. If these details are improved it would have been a 10/10 stay.
- Aadarsh (10/5): Excellent keen to return - Location, convenience Flies but having a spray at hand was useful
- Ranuli (8/5): Cosy and cute! Great stay. - Location was great! It's super close to the town and plenty to do around the area. There are plenty of dinner options nearby and you are very close to all the wineries in the hunter region. Plenty of cute horses at the farm and even saw some kangaroos! Stunning at sunset. The place does get super hot in the summer! There is an AC but it takes a bit of time to cool down so just keep this in mind :) It cools down in the evening/night time so no problem with sleeping! Just a bit warm in the middle of the day.
- Annie (7/5): A nice tiny home within driving distance of wineries - It’s a cute tiny home in the middle of a horse stud. Saw a few kangaroos at sunrise/sunset. The tiny home is small but perfect for a weekend away, the shower was bigger than we expected. The toilet was compostable (which is fine) but the cover for the toilet kept getting stuck when we opened it which meant the contents of the container was exposed and isn’t very nice to look at. We also bought some snacks which we left on the kitchen bench only to come back to find ants all through our food.
- Sharath (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place for Couple, peaceful, accessible
Host is very approachable
Loved our stay 😀
- Itthipong (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): Perfect place for a weekend away! - Had everything we needed and was such a cute and comfortable house to stay for the weekend! So close to main centre of Cessnock Loved the property but wasn’t as secluded as we thought it would be as there are the stables and house on either side. Tiny house B had the better location which was a bit further away!
- Anonymous (10/5): Overall, great location, great property, definitely enjoyed the accomodation. Would recommend it to people looking at st - The property had good location and privacy. enjoyed the scenery, especially at night around the fire. Had everything needed. General cleanliness such as some grass, dust and long hair in the house. The air conditioning remote screen was in general blacked out. Couldn’t work out how to get the heating on.
- Liz (10/5): romantic tiny home made for a magical weekend - clean, cosy, quiet and romantic it would be good if they had the kitchen basics like oil salt & pepper
- Tara (1/5): waiting on invoice - waiting on invoice waiting on invoice
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Benedict (10/5): Perfect little place, very private and quiet but only 5 minutes from the main part of town. - I loved that the location was very relaxing. This is a working farm and yet there was no noise disturbance and it was awesome waking up each morning just to the natural sounds of the bush.
The hosts were great, just left me to my own devices but were on hand if I needed anything. There was nothing that I didn't like.
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional - Odyssean was 11/10, great little immaculate house on a spacious farm, with direct access to state forest for fire trails the state forest, so there is something for everybody
Also the city centre is literally 3min drive could not ask for a better location
the host's were amazing and are happy to help with anything needed. Will definitely be back again, loved every minute thank you for everything.
- Felino (8/5): Good - Opening the gate when entering and existing.
- Emily (9/5): Tiny bit comprehensive - The Tiny House was sufficient for our stay. We were able to cook breakfast every day. It was our first time using the water-less compost toilet and it was easy to get used to. There was more storage space than we anticipated. We were on a barn stable so it was lovely to see the horses outside everyday. And beautiful sunsets too! We stayed during summer so it was hot! The Tiny House has an aircon but the first day took a while to cool down. Some nights did get a bit warm since the bed was at the loft. But these were bearable for our stay.
