Jessica (8/5): Very nice house - Really beautiful and clean house. Would be great for a larger group of people. On this occasion it was just me! Check in process could have been more seamless. The instructions were to call the owner on arrival so they could talk us through how to gain access. I feel this could be easily avoided with better written communication.

Shan (9/5): - We had a beautiful and relaxing night at Kamburra House. The owner was very nice. We loved the layout of the house, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again. Just note that the car park is on a slope.

Betty1124 (6/5): - I made the booking on Friday to stay on Sunday night. The host called me and asked me to give her cash on Saturday and said that was because I made the booking on the last minute(which i wasn't). I asked if she is happy for me to transfer the money to her bank account and she said there are lot of scams. I then said no problem I will take the cash for her. When we arrived at the house I called her as she asked me to call on arrival, the first thing she said to me was: "so do you have the cash for me?" That was a bit rude. When the host and her husband were there to hand in the key, I asked whether we could check out slightly later, and host said tomorrow was booked out so no. She said if there is no one coming in she is happy for us to stay a bit longer. --a lie she didn't have to tell. I then checked on booking it is still available tomorrow, no one is coming in. And I checked again the second morning, the place was still available, bo one booked it. Overnight, there was some weird sounds from the back of the house like someone was punching the floor. It last for a while. Scary and really bothered my sleep.

Ingrames (10/5): Wonderful place and hosts! - We liked everything! The heating wasn't working when we arrived but the owners had it fixed quickly. Very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is really well equipped. Bathrooms were toasty warm and ducted heating throughout the whole house made for a comfortable winter stay. Plenty of space for a large family. Cupboard of games and some balls for kids. Big tv and dining table, massive lounge area. Home away from home. Nothing we didn't like. The place was great. Would love to stay longer next time.

Rhodi3 (8/5): Great location for a short stay at Mornington Peninsula. - The location was absolutely great as Rye is located centrally for getting around the Mornington Peninsula (so long as you have a vehicle). Off street parking is a real bonus. The property was clean and tidy and exactly as we expected. The property owners were very good with their communication on all aspects of our stay. The beds were a little too firm and small for all of us but this was the only real issue. We enjoyed our stay otherwise.

The back verandah area was perfect to kick back in and overlook the bush back yard. The drive way as a little steep for parking and walking up and down- but manageable!

The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of crockery and cutlery. We enjoyed our stay here. Noisy neighbours early on Saturday morning. Not the fault of the hosts, but may need a bit more soundproofing in the house.
