Guest Reviews
- Venicia (10/5): Exceptional - Normally I'm a bit sceptical with the reviews until I saw the property myself but I can definitely vouch for the property having lived there myself. Don't think I can fault anything. It was smooth sailing with the owner, detailed and easy instructions, beautiful and well kept mansion and landscape. Rooms are amazingly massive giving an aristocratic feel to it...very clean rooms and bathrooms, everything you need in the kitchen and well maintained dining room... definitely worth every cent...would highly recommend the place. Maybe add more lighting to the place.
- Ji (10/5): Worth visit more than 1 night. Autumn leaves aroun the house and Lithgow was beautifual. - Old but interesting house, a lot to explore and admire. The art sense of the landlord is superb. We enjoyed the photos and arts on the wall downstaird and also enjoyed 4k blueray movie, which the landlord collected, upstairs in the media room. No radio nor music speaker we can listen to downstairs.
- Abbie (9/5): Superb - the location and look of the venue was perfect for our wedding stay. The rooms were big and light and our photos at the property were stunning. we did attempt to use the spa bath - the instructions were limited so it did take us a while to get to work and fill correctly. We messaged the owner for further instructions. When we eventually managed to fill to spa bath we were unable to use it as dirt and debris came out of the spa blowers
- D. (10/5): Group of 7 - We liked everything about this house. As soon as you drive through the gates, you feel like you're in a completely different era. Its exterior is charming, and the interior is beautifully decorated and very clean. There was heating in almost every room, and each bedroom had electric blankets for those really cold nights. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make dinner and breakfast. Tom was always a phone call away when we required help with something or had a question. The studio in the attic was one of our favorite rooms. Once we figured out how to operate everything, we were able to set up for a movie night. Also, there is plenty of parking on-site. Highly recommend this place, and hopefully, we will get to stay longer next time. Not a major critique, but booking.com stated that someone would meet us on site, so when we got there, we kind of waited as we hadn't received any prior instructions in regards to check-in, but it was all sorted with a quick phone call to Tom.
