Guest Reviews
- Angie (8/5): -
- Brian (7/5): - Location great , everything we needed , Bed size could have been bigger , Batteries for remote , garden needs attention
- Samuel (10/5): -
- Taylah (10/5): -
- Wurth (7/5): Otherwise. It was l9vely. - Toilet was running the whole time.
- Abbie (10/5): Very good value especially if there’s full capacity and cost is shared - Comfortable beds and clean
- Gay (4/5): Great location but unfortunately the property was not clean. - Great location. Able to get hold of owner straight away when we had issues with stove top. It was not clean. Floors were sticky and very dirty. Lots of cobwebs. Water damage from showers showing on walls. Iron burn mark on carpet. Needs a really good clean and some maintenance. Lawn needed to be mowed. Would be a great place if the issues were addressed.
- Chia Wei (2/5): - Location is good, close to town centre. The bed linen and blankets had a strong unpleasant smell. We reported this to the owner, who advised us to take replacement linen from another area, but unfortunately the new linen was also smelly. There were cobwebs throughout the house, and the window blinds were dusty. The floors were dirty, and the garden was untidy with weeds and an overgrown lawn.
The owner mentioned that the gardener was sick and that mowing was arranged after 3 days we checked-in (Thursday)
Moreover, there was only one split air conditioner in the living area, with only ceiling fans in the bedrooms. For a holiday house, we expected air conditioning in each bedroom or at least a ducted reverse-cycle system throughout the property. The cooling provided was inadequate and affected our comfort during the stay. (I should read advertisement properly, not too sure if they mentioned on advertisement)
Overall, this was a very poor experience and far below acceptable standards for accommodation.
- Julie (6/5): Ok for a night’s stay - Sofas and beds comfortable. Close to town by car. Spacious sitting room. Large bird droppings on patio; garden not done as gardener had covid; excessive emphasis on rules; disappointing communications; published phone number did not work.
- Yit san (9/5): An excellent stay - A very good villa, spacious and comfortable. With a good scenery and numerous bird songs at the huge patio. Kitchen utensils are plentiful. Beds are comfortable. Lots of books and toys for kids. Excellent location for walks along the beachfront/park. Host, Sophie, provided a very informative booklet on the nearby recommendations, especially Meelup Beach for swimming but the water at 20 degrees C is still cold in summer. Cleaner did a good job but don't look behind the furniture. The garden can use some trimming but it still looks very natural without trimming.
- Annette16 (10/5): We were in Dunsborough for the Songfest - it was a good location and very comfortable stay - Lock box easy to access - good instructions given
- Bill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ugyen (10/5): It’s was very good and comfortable and really organised on proper manner - Everything was clean and good The liners was but dirty
- Natalie (8/5): Wonderful family events - Great location right near my daughter grandkids Have better grass area so I don't get bogged in electric wheelchair
- Lucy (1/5): Bad - No one attended to us, and we have to book another accommodation.
- Ainsley (4/5): Overpriced and under serviced - The location was great. The outlook was great into the golf course. The outdoor patio part was nice. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and smelled (even after I ran it), the BBQ was dirty and my husband had to clean it before using it, the soap dispenser in the ensuite was so watered down it was basically water with a few bubbles, the washing up detergent was so watered down it was not capable of actually washing any dishes, the lock on the security door was faulty, the garden was unkept, the gates were broken, we were not given the lockbox code until half an hour after check in time, the cushions on the lounge were dirty, the curtains were ill-fitting and ripped in one of the bedrooms, there were only 2 tea bags, some furniture had tears in the fabric. We expected more for the high cost to rent.
- Judy (7/5): Good - Nice house, comfy and nice location. Barbecue and inside bin area was very dirty. Dishwasher was still full. Would be good to have a tv in family area.
- Peter (10/5): Excellent communication pre stay. No intrusion during the stay in a very comfortable house - Great pre stay communication All was eccellent
- Joy (6/5): Pleasant - Stableford Cottage was a pleasant place to stay. The location on the Dunsborough Golf Course was stunning. The garden was unkept - lawn need to be mowed and the garden beds could do with a tidyup
- Angela (7/5): It was a great week just the lack of aircon was the issue. Even a couple of stand alone units - The size of the property and comfort Lack of air con in the bedroomd
- John (9/5): Superb - we were given an incorrect pin code no. for the key lock box.
- Margaret (6/5): Pleasant - Pin code for key was not sent via sms, so a little confusing on how to enter the house late afternoon of arrival date.
The front lounge light was flashing when turned on. Rang the owner & noted but couldn't fix it over the time of stay.
There were no floor mats in the bathroom, dangerous if water was on the floor. There was a timber floor mat, but felt unstable.
The place looked tired needing maintenance.
The swing set was disappointing.
A storm presented on day 3 & the wind blew the roof of the play house all night keeping us all awake. Luckily it didn't blow off.
The lounge was pleasant and roomy for children to play games. The game cupboard was appreciated.
There were limited supply of rubbish bags and no soap provided in bathrooms. As above
- Denise (8/5): Very good -
