- Kylie (9/5): Good place to stay and easy walk into town - Lots of space to spread out. Beds were comfortable and warm. Kitchen well fit out. Unflued gas heater. The split system air con downstairs needed help getting the area warm and the little gas heater did a great job but being unflued wasn't great.
- Simon (8/5): Great place to stay for family get together - Great home for a family/group stay. Plenty of cutlery/crockery for large group. Staying in winter, the house was extremely cold on arrival and took several hours to warm up
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Number of beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms suited our extended family. House warmed up quickly. Extra towels were a bonus. Beds were comfortable and warm. Views from the windows. Proximity to Katoomba town centre was good as we walked there. Well stocked kitchen. Floor rugs we kept tripping up on.
- Marina (10/5): Great location, amenities and host. - Great location. Only 10 min walk to Katoomba town Centre/train station. Very comfortable beds. 3 bathrooms with one en-suite. Electric blankets, air conditioning (heating and cooling), gas heater in the lounge kitchen area. In door and outdoor dining. Washer and dryer, dishwasher. Plenty cookware. Very responsive and accommodating hosts. Overall great experience.
- Lisa (9/5): Cosy and clean. Great for a group. - The home was modern and spacious. It was very convenient to have door code entry, so that each person could come and go as they pleased. As a group of 6 friends, there was plenty of room for everyone. Bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge chairs.
The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and serving ware for shared meals. It also allowed us to load up the dishwasher as we went, only putting it on once it was full and not because we had run out of clean glasses or plates.
All the major grocery stores in the heart of Katoomba (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi) are less than a 5 min drive away. And loads of dining options there as well. It was a great location to base our Blue Mountains hiking adventures.
The house was comfortably warm, with split system air-conditioning and a gas heater. The beds were comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows. Even throw rugs for being cosy on the lounges. We never ran out of hot water, even with all 3 showers running at the same time.
It felt just like being at home. We couldn't find any matches to light the stove during a Blackout. Not really a failing of the house lol.
- Brad (9/5): Perfect spot for a family retreat - The cosy home, ample space, clear communication from the owner, and amenities (laundry, kitchen, garage) I liked everything.
- Kathryn (9/5): Lovely house, central to lots of activities - Location very central to get around to see the sights.
House was very clean. Kitchen well stocked with an over abundance of plates etc.
Some basics supplied (cling wrap, teabags etc).
Bathrooms very clean with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, handwash supplied.
Plenty of beds, with clean linens.
Slippers/scuffs are supplied to wear in the house.
We took our own slippers, we didn’t fancy wearing footwear other people have worn. While everything was clean, I think the cleaner missed the fridge as there was leftover over drinks and frozen food in freezer. The fridge had a lot of crumbs particularly in the crisper. We just cleaned it ourselves before putting our food in.
While there is plenty of seating in the lounge room, there is (in my opinion) way too many cushions. Not something I like to have near me, as I don’t know how often cushions get cleaned, (this is in any place I stay at, not just this place).
- Robin (9/5): Superb -
- Anne-maree (9/5): Great location, clean and lots of space for a big family. - Location was awesome, so close to all Blue Mountain activities. Lots of rooms, lots of bathrooms, we all had our own space. Not much, maybe the price but it is the Blue Mountains.
- Pat (9/5): Superb - The property is spacious, comfortable and clean. In fact the photos don't do it justice. We didn't have a car. The property is about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Katoomba. It isn't a steep or difficult walk but it is on a path by the side of the main road. Doing this walk for the first time in the dark was a bit daunting but we soon got used to it.
- May (9/5): Superb - location, space in the room none
- Fiona (10/5): Fantastic -
- Gina (10/5): Was exactly what we needed and we were well looked after. - The host is great and is great at staying in communication. This was for work and we needed GST invoices and the host understood and produced exactly what we needed. Very patient with all my messages.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Must stay again - Great location, full facility including coffee machine, salt, etc none
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bek (8/5): Very good - Property held our small group. It was close to everything we needed. It had all the items we needed We found a used needle in the back yard. Not good when we have 2 babies walking around. Lucky an adult found it
- Donald (9/5): We had an excellent stay as the property was well looked after and the kitchen is extremely well equipped - We like the bedrooms: very comfortable beds. Kitchen very well equipped. Great space inside and out. 3 bathroom was wonderful. Overall clean and tidy. The bedroom on the main floor, we found six little caterpillars that curl up in a ball when touched. Not sure what they are. There was a beeping sound in the middle of the night. 3 short beeps then it would stop. Could not figure it out.
- Chan (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (10/5): Beautiful morden house located in a quiet street. Everything we needed for our short getaway holiday was there . - Loved the ambiance of the house Everything was what l expected for the price
- Mark (9/5): Great stay close to Katoomba in a modern and very comfortable home - Pristine property, well stocked with kitchen utensils, comfy beds with electric blankets Place was cold when we arrived, imagine it would be difficult to keep warm in mid winter - but has air con and heaters which helped heat the place up
- Mchugh (10/5): Would definitely come back - Large, modern and well equipped.
- Harmony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerrie (10/5): Exceptional - Good communication with owner regarding keyless access. House lovely and clean with all amenities and great location to celebrate 80th birthday with ample bedrooms. Great weekend thank you
- Anne (8/5): Wonderful place for a couple of nights stay. - It suited our 3 families very well. The 3 bathrooms were great, plenty of space in the bedrooms and the living areas met our needs.
Adequate heating and plenty of things provided ie. coffee, tea, shampoos, body wash and kitchen requirements. There was not enough power points in the bedrooms for electric blankets to be plugged in. All the bathroom doors would not shut easily(the downstairs one wouldn’t close all the way) and the shower doors squeaked terribly.
- Lois (8/5): Comfort of guests is considered and it is easy to settle in and enjoy. - No breakfast included.
Facilities great TV remote needed new batteries
Some evidence of some mice.
I have sent an email with details and pictures.
I can contact owners if you give the best option for that.

- Narelle (10/5): Would definitely book again. - Lovely property. Plenty of space. Clean, tidy & everything you need for a comfortable stay.
- Mirella (10/5): We had a lovely time together in the mornings and at night when we returned from the festival. - WE booked the house for the Blue Mountains Music Festival. Although the house is located on the other side of the GWH to Katoomba Town Centre, it was only a 20 minute walk to Katoomba Public School where the festival was held and 15 minutes to the centre of town. We walked back late at night with no problem as there is a footpath all the way along the GWH and lights to cross over the highway. There is one darkish section, but a phone light is enought to negotiate it safely. Excellent heating (also air con) for a very cold early October. Use of the lock up garage for two cars and an exceptionally quiet street. There's a coffeee pod machine but no coffeee pods had been left. At least a few would have been nice to have upon our arrival. Our friends who stayed in the only downstairs bedroom would have liked a mirror in the bedroom.
- Jovi-lyn (9/5): The house is great. They have everything we need. Erica our host is very nice. -
- Chi (10/5): Wonderful stay to explore the blue mountain. Will be guest again. - Size of the property, the number of bedrooms. The TV. Close to town center. The showers are all a bit small.
- Anonymous (10/5): it was cosy, comfortable and relaxing - Blue was clean and the facilities were great. had everything we needed. loved our own private getaway with the location being minutes away from town Center and supermarkets.
