Tout était parfaitement propre et fonctionnel, ce qui a rendu notre séjour très agréable. L’environnement est superbe, très joliment arboré, et nous avons même eu la surprise de voir plusieurs petit singes La localisation est idéale, avec deux magnifiques plages accessibles à proximité. Un vrai petit coin de paradis que nous recommandons chaleureusement.
- Amiria (8/5): A great Brazilian-style house in an exceptional location, walking distance to Praia São José - A great Brazilian-style house in an exceptional location, a short walk from Praia São José. The house is well-equipped to local standards and situated in a beautiful private garden full of flowers and stunning wild-life, including hummingbirds and micos (small cute monkeys). The deep plunge-pool is perfect for cool dips in hot weather and the bbq/churrasco area on the covered terrace is a lovely place to pass the evening. Showers are hot and the gas stove and fridge worked consistently despite frequent power cuts in the bedrooms. Foreign visitors may find the Brazilian-style facilities a little challenging if they don't know what to expect: no hot water in the kitchen, no kettle, no insect screens on the windows (and plenty of mosquitos), a temperamental power system involving cuts to parts of the house lasting a whole day or night (and taking out the WLAN, so no chance to contact the owner...), no toilet paper allowed to be put in the toilet (this is all normal in Brazil, so if you want to avoid some of it go to a hotel).... Access to the property is down poorly maintained roads full of pot-holes in a large condominio (gated community) with pretty casual security. Barking dogs, mating frogs and a beeping air conditioner with a mind of its own and no off-button make for melodious nights!

- Mark (10/5): 2 weeks in paradise - The house was absolutely perfect. Situated in the midst of the Atlantic Rain Forest and a sea of green with wildlife in abundance especially the wild tamarins that were delightful. The beds and bed linens were of very high quality unlike so many other rentals I have been to which made sleeping a dream along with the a/c. The house sits between 2 of the most gorgeous beaches in the area and each was like having our own private beach with the beach club at São José making our days perfect with their amazing food and service for a price. Wilson, the owner was super attentive and responded to any questions immediately and it showed the care and concern for each of us while we were there. Upon our arrival from São Paulo, which was delayed due to heavy rain etc we were kindly greeted at the gate of the condominium by Leo, his house manager who led us to the house the route of which would have been a bit confusing if we had to find it on our own in the dark for the first time. The house was immaculate and obviously extremely well-tended with beautiful flowers all around. The attention to detail showed how much Wilson cares for his guests. The kitchen was well equipped for those nights when you’d rather stay home and had pretty much everything you could need to make a nice meal. I can’t recommend this lovely house enough for someone looking for a peaceful respite within walking distance to the beach. A car is a necessity however if you intend to go into town or to visit the other beaches in the area. I will definitely be returning for another visit! can’t think of a thing.
