• Nicole (7/5): Lovely family accommodation - Beautiful view!!!! Comfortable well equipped house, perfect for a short stay. Close to the beach. If you head out before dawn/dusk you might see Fairy penguins. Great for families, as the playground is a short walk away. The house could use a bit of an update & modern touch, with new lighting, updated outdoor setting & bbq, a coffee machine would be great! No lighting above the BBQ, so really difficult to cook outside in the evening. Steps up to house from the front are really steep.
• Allison (10/5): - The location was amazing, a little sign out front might have been helpful. As the property is quite hidden. Everything was great, a few mice downstairs, but amazing views.
• Williams (9/5): - Especially the location and the kangaroos on the front lawn! We liked that the bathroom door problem was fixed so promptly, thank you. The shower head came off, but we fixed it! Everyrhing else was perfect.

• Sasha (7/5): - The views are great and it's in a good part of the island to do the tourist things Not many power points for the fans. One fan didn't work and one blew you away. The air con is good for the lounge room and that's it. Downstairs doesn't lock from the outside and we had to remove lock to adjust it to lock from the inside. Can't lock upstairs from the outside. Downstairs big bed is uncomfortable.
• Charmaine (8/5): - The view from the house was fantastic. The downstairs should have at least an electric kettle and some tea bags. So that one could make oneself a cup of tea when you wake and not wait for those sleeping upstairs to get up. Also, the sounds of footsteps from the upstairs are very loud and can be a bother to light sleepers. Also, the house was difficult to locate on the 1st. Day as there is no house number displayed close to the road.
• josh (10/5): Well worth the drive the kids approved - Location and space for kids to be kids The washing machine doesn’t work we got 1 load ot of it and then it would turn on we had to go to the laundry in kingscote

• Neal (7/5): Good - Amazing views. Wallabies and echidna on the lawn. Downstairs bedroom and lounge. Squeaky floor, broken outdoor furniture and screen doors. Wi fi and downstairs tv didn’t work.
• Michael (8/5): We had an enjoyable time in a peaceful setting.It suited us as an older couple. It was very comfort. - It was independent accommodation. The view was fantastic. The cafe across the road did not have a menu that appealed to us.
• Bzec (7/5): Perfect location with lovely view. - perfect location for our visit to Kangaroo Island. Lovely spacious home. Comfy beds. Two Storey home however there is no access between the levels inside which was not mentioned anywhere on the booking site - you had to go outside to access each level - therefore we only used the top level where the kitchen is located. 2 Lovely sliding doors on top level however could not use one of them as the screen door does not close properly therefore bugs can get in and the screen door kept coming off the rails on the other door which was very annoying.

• Kevin (8/5): A great base for visiting Kangaroo Island - Its location, with the stunning view over Emu Bay. It provided all the facilities we needed for our stay. My wife has mild mobility issues, so climbing the steps into the front door was an issue as the handrail was off to the side of the steps not as close as ideally it could have been. Otherwise, no concerns.
• Tori (10/5): I was looking for a place to visit different locations around the island, this is one of the most central places to stay - It is a large and spacious house a jetty 100 metres from the house a playground for families beach access for cars and beautiful sunrises. I would love to stay there permanently. Nothing!!

• Giang (10/5): The host is very good. The view of the house is amazing and you can watch sunrise. - Host is so good. They provided updated info so you can plan your trip. House is in good location, best view, nice and clean. The laundry is down stair which needs to access outside of the house. Should have the light sensor at the back as it is the main entrance to the house.
• Barry (8/5): Excellent location, quiet in off period, could stay on------- - Large spacious rooms; Excellent outlook over Bay and surrounds. Quiet and private. Access into house steep steps awkward. Sliding doors do not move freely.

Beds were comfortable and I don't say that very often as I am used to sleeping on a waterbed Only the open plan lounge had airconditioning. No phone service, but we are not with telstra.

BBQ bit small if 2 families are staying. Kettle doesn’t shut off, maybe a new one replaced.

• Brian (8/5): Chill out location with million-dollar view. - Panoramic view from all front windows of the whole beach. Premises are a little dated but not in a bad way. The overall impression is beach shack casual. Wallabies on the front lawn, penguins on the beach. All round easy living in large house for big family. We enjoyed a full moon on a totally clear night shining the full length of the bay. Couldn't find a "Sharp" knife that would cut anything.
• Debra (8/5): Spacious and good value for the money. - Location. Beach view. Spacious. Kitchen well equipped. Late checkout granted. Helpful property manager. Little more thought could be put into downstairs premises. Upstairs better. Power points in bedroom not located close for bedlamps( power cords stretched across room. Downstairs could be equipped (lounge corner or even large laundry) with at least a kettle for boiling water and coffee cups. Not convenient for people sleeping downstairs to have to go upstairs to make morning coffee!! I would also be putting cloths or coasters on marked tables downstairs. Bins not nice located at front door downstairs.
