Guest Reviews
- Alison (9/5): Expectations met and the host was very helpful - The location was perfect for our needs. The driveway entry could be a bit easier to locate

- Pk (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are already planning our next holiday here. - Quiet, private and spacious, with everything you could possibly need. Lyn is a a great host, so friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge about the area.
- Anupa (10/5): Very beautiful place - Nice place and easy to access the beach and all restaurants. Room decoration is beautiful and all the equipment had been supplied. And the lady was on the phone during checking was very friendly. Easy check in and check out process. But you can’t swimming or surfing in the beach which is walking distance from this property. And it would be difficult to find the location if you come at the night since you can’t properly see the house number out of the gate during the night.
- Guillaume (8/5): Perfectly located, functional space. - Excellent location, close to the beach, with a nice terrace serving as the dining area (no indoor table) and a comfortable bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and functional. A very good spot for a 2-3 night stay, with great communication from the host. The space is pet-friendly and clean, with a pet fee of $50 per stay, which is reasonable and needs to be paid in advance via bank transfer.
Regarding parking, we can confirm that it is not an issue. You can easily park on the street, and the home is just a few metres away. You could also drive to the house itself; the only minor inconvenience is the lack of a ramp for the curb, requiring you to drive on the grass to get in and out. However, the driveway is not too tight, so it’s manageable. Once again, street parking in the area is perfectly fine, so this is not a problem at all. Not a major issue, but we feel that the living space is smaller than expected and missing a soft floor light to create a cosy atmosphere. The sofa is okay, though an L-shaped one would offer a more comfortable spot and better match the nightly price, but it’s still fine. The biggest disappointment comes from the curtains, which feel (and are) 'cheap' and do not block the light, causing issues in the bedroom. The outdoor table is a 'camping' style, functional and fine, but like the curtains, it doesn’t align with the nightly cost. A small investment in upgrades could significantly enhance guest comfort.
Be aware that the area in front of the home is a public space, so you may have people passing by to access the beach. This isn’t a problem, as traffic is low and seems to be mostly local people, but you might be surprised to see people walking through what feels like your backyard. Since the property is open, it’s best not to leave valuable items outside (it’s common sense).
- Howford (8/5): Good getaway spot - The host were very lovely and communicative. The location was great, being a short few minute drive into town and Main beach. Also good walking distance from Tallow beach. The house is nice with the front alfresco being a highlight. The toilet smelled a bit throughout our stay but nothing too horrible. Manual opening and closing of the entrance gate when driving in/out is a bit of a hassle.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - lovely location and accommodation nothing
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leroy (10/5): Amazing - House owner was lovely and was very easy going. Super lovely lady. Parking was a bit tricky, no other complaints
- Sandra (10/5): Our stay was delightful and made even better by the fact that our dog was welcome to holiday with us! - The property was a very tastefully decorated, private and tranquil retreat.
Lyn our host was very friendly, communicative and welcoming. Nothing
- Clinton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ball (9/5): It was a great place to stay and experience Bryon and all it has to offer - The peacefulness Nothing
- Valerie (10/5): We are booking again to recharge our batteries and feel grounded. - The location was an oasis of calm. I could hear the waves and walk through the national park to greet them. The property was on the fringe of the national park the sea minutes walk away.
The accommodation suited us and our little jack Russel loved coming with us on holiday.
The accommodation inside and out was a breath taking break. It was equipped with everything you could need.; with a little extra holiday magic.
Eat alfresco in the tranquil outdoor area, surrounded by fauna and aesthetically lit up at night. Barbecue provided to cook from or use the well equipped indoor kitchen. We also explored the amazing cafes, restaurants and night life of Byron. Plus shopping at Byron of course.
We are going to go again that’s for sure. It was perfect

- Claire (9/5): Superb - From the time we booked until checkout, our host Lyn’s hospitality was second to none. She met us on arrival to show the property as well as offered recommendations for dining and activities! The location, accomodation and amenities were all perfect! The fairy light covered outdoor area was a special touch - so special we got engaged!! 💍 Cruisin In Byron is a must stay in the area!
- Jonathan (10/5): Paradise in amongst paradise - This is such a lovely holiday stay. Backing up onto the National Park, and about a 5min walk to the beach, it's in a super quiet location with abundant bird and animal wildlife around. Cruisin In Byron is dog friendly, and within a 20min walk, or 5min drive, to Byron Bay itself. Close to all that Byron offers in terms of food and drink options, but not to close to hear noise. Only noise you hear at Cruisin In Byron is the birds and frogs! I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, and the host was absolutely amazing! I couldn't stay longer, but will be back!

- Bennett (4/5): Disappointing - There was not much to like..the 15min walk to beach Advertised that private but houses all close by..no parking and when I went to leave a car had parked me in
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Garden oasis in perfect location! - The set up was perfect - from decor to location!
I couldn’t believe how gorgeous the garden was, sitting off a national park my dog and I were in heaven! Nothing it was perfect.
- Antram (10/5): Exceptional - The property backed onto national park, pet friendly, great internet, large smart tv in living area and additional mounted tv in bedroom, Weber and large outdoor area and grassed area out front for throwing a ball or playing around with friends ….. has everything you need for a couple and a dog.
