Guest Reviews
- Janine (7/5): - The kitchen was very well stocked in terms of pantry staples and cleaning products. The house was comfortable and well laid out. Plenty of towels, and the side cupboard next to the sink was appreciated for toilettry storage. Bathrooms and kitchen were well cleaned.
Communication with the host was prompt and very clear. Just a few improvements could have made it an excellent stay, the frypan was very old and peeling and needs to be replaced. The pillows in the beds probably had seen better days and were extremely soft, I had to double up on two. The bedsheets as well , while clean were pretty worn. The couch needs a good vacuum under the cushions.
- Karyn (8/5): A comfortable modern property that close to everything. - The beds were very comfortable with the option of an electric blanket.
The kitchen was amply supplied with utensils, stainless steel pots and pantry supplies.
The heating & gas fire heated the property adequately.
The garden out the back gave a lovely view with the outdoor setting which was good for cheese, wine & biscuits.
Having the use of a dishwasher was handy.
Having a 4 piece toaster was great
Sizeable Fridge & Freezer for storing food & drink.
Decorated tastefully.
Close to attractions & eateries. The driveway was tricky to navigate with it being so narrow.
We cooked each night which was good although the oven proved quite slow to cook our food.
We tried to locate a manual to see if there was something we were missing but there wasn’t one.
Two thick oven gloves would be good as the saucepan handles became hot when cooking on the stovetop which made it dangerous.
The draining area next to the sink didn’t drain but held water and kept the dishes wet.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Fran (8/5): - Very comfortable and roomy. Location great. Kitchen well equiped. Couldn’t start the fire with instructions provided on line and in information booklet. Driveway curb gutter was an issue, particularly given car was parked on road. Did not have access to Netflix as indicated.
- Sian (10/5): Well appointed Bendigo accommodation with all the essentials - Great location, large well stocked kitchen, good communication from hosts, we were able to bring our 2 dogs, Netflix via smart TV, indoor and outdoor dining areas Narrow driveway but parking directly out front, down lights weren’t very bright
- Ben (10/5): Great house! - Well appointed, clean and convenient. Big rooms and great location. Nothing - it was a great place.
- John A Holt (7/5): Great location and lovely house - The location was central and the building was very good as well Cleanliness was poor, knives dirty, pot and pans unclean.
It is hard to tell who was responsible, as cleaners would not have gone through the pots, pans and crockery to confirm if they had been washed properly
The BBQ was dangerous to use, with the lefthand side burners rusted through and screws missing from the side plates - I would encourage to owners to repair or replace the BBQ
- steven (7/5): Bendigo spacious house - Spacious, great location.
Kitchen well equipped.
House clean except kitchen. Kitchen needed a good clean, crockery food debris, kitchen drawers dirty.
Dishwasher rack broken.
Claimed washer dryer was only a washer.

- Bourke (9/5): Fantastic cottage in the heart of Bendigo. Beautiful space with a short walk to the lake. Also pet friendly. Will defini - Loved it all. Kitchen space is awesome. Outdoor area with the BBQ was sensational on a sunny day Nothing I didn’t like
- Julie (9/5): A nice, centrally located property, with a great chefs kitchen! - Great location. Nice and central, close to everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen facilities. A beautiful street with very friendly neighbours. The noise in the house carries, after our kids went to bed we found ourselves tip toeing around because the house echos. A hallway runner rug might help diminish the noise.
- Margaret (9/5): We enjoyed the cottage very much - Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lovely private covered deck area. Great kitchen and laundry. Big bedrooms with comfy beds We couldn’t hang washing on line because it was too high!! No dryer, a minor irritant.

- Helen (8/5): Quaint comfy spacious cottage in heart of Bendigo - Comfortable beds, big rooms, Netflix, great shower, washing machine facilities. Bathroom has a bath, great hot water.
Very quiet area.
Big spacious kitchen
Clean and airy.
Gas Fireplace ambience, split system.
Ease of booking and code to get in
And they provide milk!
Definitely would stay again Driveway not big but plenty of parking on road out front
No bench in bathroom to put your toiletries but there is small shelving and a bench directly outside. Might be better to put a small chair or stool in bathroom instead of potplant, maybe extra railing along wall would help.
Metal chairs bit hard and cold in dining area but ok with blanket on it.
- Jonathan (10/5): Excellent - Clean. Well laid out. Sunny. Best Airbnb we’ve stayed in
- Stefan (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): -

- Smyrk (8/5): Beautifully appointed accomodation, very comfortable- a most enjoyable stay. - The outdoor setting, comfy beds, quiet street, simple decor and especially the book sausage dog! Would have loved to read short history of house/ photos of renovation etc. Just interested. TV remote unreadable! (markings worn off) No bench, ledge, table, stool in bathroom to place 'stuff' like make up, especially when all using same bathroom, which was not a problem.

- Naomi (10/5): Excellent - Everything, have stayed here before Liked everything

Everything we needed was available. It's a very attractive cottage and in a perfect location. My only issue was that we were in a large vehicle, and the parking was tight. But we managed it okay, so it's not a big problem.

- Vella (9/5): Had a wonderful time. Super comfy bed for a great sleep with an amazing location. A little more detailed cleaning would’ - It was modern and the location was amazing!
Beds were super comfy and we all slept well. The outdoor area was fantastic. Layout was so great. Quick walk to The Bridge Hotel for a great meal and opposite way, a quick walk to Lake Weeroona.
Outside was beautiful and although it looked small as we arrived, when we walked in, it was surprisingly very spacious, the perfect size for the 6 of us to stay comfortably.
Really lovely cottage. There were cobwebs and pet hair on the walls (not ceilings) but along the corners of rooms, skirtings and on floors. Bedroom lamps were very dusty.
Bbq was dirty with food scraps and required a thorough clean before use. Kitchen sink needed bleaching to remove the brown from plug holes and splash back had fingerprints on it.
Shower tiles hadn’t been wiped over.
Would’ve been nice to have cling wrap and some olive oil.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable house with all mod cons in the kitchen. Lovely bi-fold door out to the patio and a great house for entertaining.
Great utility room with washing machine and large bathroom.
Parking at the property is narrow but we managed with our large car, plenty of parking on the street too. That we had to leave!!
- Gail (10/5): A really lovely property and facilities in a convenient location. - Light and airy, well designed and equipped. Lovely to have a deck and table and chairs to sit outside. Very minor only - there was no shelf or space for sitting toiletries or a small bag in the bathroom.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Clean, roomy, easy to use cottage with everything in good condition. Matresses were rather soft with the single beds being way too soft sprung. Not good for old backs.
