Guest Reviews
- Alison (10/5): Our stay was fantastic, a lovely space after a long drive. Thank you Andy - How large the space was and the lovely bathroom, clean towels and bedding. Nothing applicable
- Malissa (8/5): -
- Craig (9/5): Easy comfort at an affordable price - Comfortable and clean Garden needs attention and bathroom fan needs a clean but other than that ok
- lisa (10/5): - Quite and great location, plenty of room
- Melissa (10/5): - Absolutely everything Nothing at all
- Annette (8/5): Good option to base ourselves here as we explored Goyders Line and the surrounding towns by bicycle. - Spacious on the inside and comfortable beds.

- Patricia (8/5): Never judge a book by its cover. A lovely place to stay. Sadly the Steam Train exhibition that we came expressly for, wa - Lovely comfortable beds. Very cozy. There was a small issue with the septic, just as we were leaving.
- Terina (10/5): - It had a great feel. Liked that it was an original, authentic Peterborough home.
- Andy (9/5): - Great location and terrific amenities
- Colin (8/5): Cute cottage which was in a quiet location away from main road. Super comfortable bed.Overall pleasant stay. - Quiet location , comfortable bed.Renovated bathroom, updated kitchen. - Paul (10/5): Amazing host and fabulous accomodation especially for the price. The cottage is also surprisingly big and could easily a - We loved everything about this property. The only thing we didn’t like was that we only stayed one night. Host is warm, friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a fabulous and comfortable stay. Thanks Garry. Beds are so insanely comfortable that I think I had the best sleep I have had in the last 10 years. Coffee machine, washing machine and dryer (with coffee pods and laundry powder provided) were very welcome additions after a big trip in the outback. It was a cold and rainy night when we stayed but the heating kept us toasty warm. Our city slicker cavoodle had a great time exploring the big and enclosed backyard and being confused by cow moo’s in the distance. The large dining table, modern and updated kitchen and bathroom make for a very comfortable home away from home. We would not hesitate to stay again but for longer next time. The only recommendation I can think of is the addition of a cosier sofa for sinking into after a hard day at Steamtown! :) There was nothing wrong with the current sofa it just isn’t on the same luxurious comfort levels as the beds.
- Margaret (9/5): - Good heating over a cold weekend. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous shower. Very clean.
- Stanislaw (9/5): - The stay was pleasant and allowed us to be refreshed for the next part of our journey. The suggestions for things to do gave a nice personal touch.

Location
- Hangglider (10/5): Wow. This place is a real gem. - It may not look much from the outside, but inside this spacious 3 bedroom place has everything. There is a split system air conditioner in the lounge and another in the dining room. The bathroom is brand new and magnificent. The kitchen has been renovated. There is a pod coffee machine with free pods. All beds are really comfortable and the quilts were very warm (needed to be when 6 degrees outside). King bed in 1 bedroom, a queen in the other and 2 very large singles in the third bedroom. There are many attractions in the main street of Peterborough. I thoroughly recommend The Town carriage museum where you can sit in an actual old train carriage and watch the scenery go by as if you are on an actual train with all the sound effects - really well done. The Burg is also well worth a visit with a model of the Peterborough rail yards in their heyday with model trains racing around the tracks. The burg also has a really interesting video of the history of the town. Peterborough may not be as well known as some other destinations, but it is well worth the visit. The railway hotel also has excellent meals open Wednesday through Sunday). Fridge could do with a defrost.
- Sheridan (8/5): Lovely place to stay with great facilities. - Quaint cottage with lovely amenities and beds. The external areas needed some work and BBQ could not be used.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -

- Helen (8/5): A restful stay in spacious accomodation with good ammenities in a quiet location. - Very spacious, quiet, well appointed kitchen, aircon was quiet and effective in lounge room, beds very comfortable, key master entry, excellent modern bathroom, night lights Both gates difficult to open, couches were not particularly comfortable but adequate, an instruction book for the house/kitchen would have been useful
- Graeme (8/5): Very good - Easy to find, newly renovated bathroom, yard for the dog, very comfortable bed, quiet area, off street parking.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (8/5): Very good -
- Brett (8/5): Very good -
- Brett (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (4/5): Disappointing - Heaps of room for family, beds comfy Heaps of hair through bathroom, beds hadn't been vacuumed under for months, kitchen cupboards and drawers dirty. Glad we didn't take our dog, prickle bushes right through yard, scrap timber and left over building scraps everywhere
- Jacques (7/5): Good - The bed in the back room was saggy and the couch was uncomfortable
- Judith (9/5): Our quick stop in Peterborough - Andy accommodation was a great place to stay for a look around Peterborough. Walking distance to the main street.
The beds were very comfortable and bathroom facilities excellent.
Would stay again.
- Ann (9/5): Our stay in Peterborough was thoroughly enjoyable and our accommodation at Andy’s was excellent. - Everything! It was extremely well set up with everything we could need. Beds were comfy, there was lots of room and we were able to get our washing done. The location was excellent - we could walk into the shopping area. N/A
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (7/5): Comfortable home stay in historic Peterborough - Plenty of space and nice to be in an older style South Australian home. The lounge chairs, have zero comfort !
The gate is heavy to open and close ( personal ) for me that is.
- Kranz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (8/5): Very good - Wonderful very old cottage which has kept its rustic charm while having all the expected mod cons.
- Diane (10/5): Perfect stay in Peterborough - Authentic Australian bungalow in a great location to walk to the town. We had everything we needed. If you want modern then this isn’t for you. It is large with a well equipped kitchen, lovely garden and comfy beds. No side lamps in the lounge do it was quite bright with the main light.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The property is beautifully presented and has everything you need. It is also pet friendly and we felt very welcome with our two dogs. Gary was also very accomodating when we had to change our booking date at very short notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Cindy (10/5): Perfect! - This place is adorable. The outside still needs some work, but once you step inside you'll be amazed. Beds are 5 star hotel standards. The inclusion of a washer & dryer was very welcome on our 6 week trip. Nothing
- Yufang (10/5): Very happy with everything - Clean, comfy and pretty
- Stephen (10/5): Beautiful property and pet friendly! - Super host; responsive and helpful. The property was beautiful! My kids said it was the best place we stayed during our roadtrip. Super spacious and very well renovated, loved the shower! The rooms are large and beds are comfy. Can walk into town to get a coffee and the dog enjoyed the backyard. There are some beautiful properties around there are well. Nothing at all. It was a great stay and very happy to visit again!
- Keith (9/5): A pleasant stop over, quiet and peaceful -
- Brett (9/5): Great spot to stay in Peterborough - Well presented, clean and tidy, full amenities, a/c on and house was cool on arrival. Nothing - all was great
- Petrina (8/5): Had what we needed, clean & comfortable. Good to see that the house being renovated. -
- Leonie (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfortable, convenient location. Could not fault the place.
- Kathleen (9/5): Glad I didn't bypass this one - 5 star beds, lounge and bathroom. So comfortable and clean! - This little cottage was such a surprise package. The beds were 5 star hotel quality, the lounge also with auto recliner. Even though I don't drink coffee, there was a coffee pod machine. The bathroom was amazing with excellent water temperature / pressure. Towels were soft and fluffy. This would be really picky but for longer stays, the kitchen is a little small. But, that makes for an excuse not to cook
- Ellen (9/5): Quiet enjoyable and would recommend to friends - We’ll set up and it was well located. It was well equipped with what you needed. The step between the dinning room and the lounge is a bit dangerous. I tripped on it but was able to save myself. My friend did fall and could not get up so we had to call the ambulance.
- Simone (10/5): Awesome - Quaint little cottage that was spacious with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay That it wasn’t near my home in Brisbane lol!
- Keith (9/5): A Very Good Stopover - Spacious accommodation with good facilities. Quiet residential area, resonably close to restaurants etc.
- Elaine (8/5): Very good - Location was great, charming cottage, very comfortable king bed, updated bathroom. Little attention needed outside.
- John (10/5): lovely house in a great location - charming place in the centre of town. The place is a good is a good size and has lovely charm and personal touches nothing
- Katrina (7/5): Good -
- Paraic (10/5): A hidden gem. Great location for our stopover - Wonderful cottage, quaint and very comfortable. Loved the photo album showing the renovations. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Off street parking Nothing
- Debbie (9/5): A delightful but appreciated surprise… - A typical old Australiana house on the outside but tastefully decorated inside. It was convenient being able to park directly near the back door. We couldn’t open the bedroom (the one we used) window.
- Tracey (10/5): Great value for a comfortable and private stay. - Andy’s accommodation was quiet, private, clean and comfortable. It was great to have kitchen facilities on a work trip too. The property was great value for money and we will definitely book again when we have work in the area.
- Zoe (10/5): Perfect stay in Peterborough - Great 3 bedroom house within walking distance to the high street. V comfy bed, great shower. Nothing
- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (8/5): A great old school charmer - what did I like - the house itself was lovely - old school charm but with everything you could want. The overall property is still a work in progress by the looks but we loved the character of the place. Great location as well.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy and a quiet house and very spacious with everything supplied that we needed for our stay. Nothing really.
- Buzzard (10/5): A brilliant place to stay, very happy that I chose Andy's Accommodation. - A magnificent host. I received a message a couple of days prior letting me know not only how to access the keys but also telling me about things to do and see in the area. As well as this I was also told about local cafes and places to eat.
Milk was left in the fridge for our arrival and an abundant supply of coffee pods for the machine.
How good is that?
The house is also a short walk into town, just 5 or so minutes. To be honest, there was nothing to dislike about the property.
Only the most fussy might find something not to like.
- Suzanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (9/5): lovely - very spacious, very very comfortable beds, lovely quality bed linen, lovely soft towels, comfy lounge nothing
- De (8/5): Very good - Nice old school vibe little home Outside look
- Jisna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (8/5): Good stop-over destination, thank you. - Decor in the property, particularly the framed newspaper articles. Very clean house and excellent bathroom. Felt loved and liveable and inside the house was excellent, outside no so good out back, understand this is a renovation project and done to a very high standard, felt really good. Time of the year meant spear grass and wild oats, weeds were high and problematic with the schnauzers in the rear yard all of which had seeded, not a huge issue as they couldn’t run around the secured area, could be mowed right down to allow us to sit out the back. It’s a really interesting yard with many structural features from years gone by which could feature as part of the experience. The town provided good walking paths to accomodate the exercise needs. Power failure from the huge weather storm the night before meant everything in town we wanted to see was closed, still Peterborough is a lovely spot to visit and we will come back.
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional - The old homestead is lovely and nicely restored. Bed was super comfortable too.

- Paul (8/5): Excellent stay. - This is a great house to stay in when visiting Peterborough. Comfortable Beds. Functional kitchen to cook our own breakfast. (Need to switch the switch on the wall first to use the cooktop) Not sure about the microwave. We tried to use it but it wouldn't work for us.
