Guest Reviews
- stephanie (5/5): Fine for a night and as we didn’t spend much time there it was passable but wouldn’t return. - Great location and the peace and quiet. The cleanliness. The description doesn’t match the property. It’s extremely run down.
The dust next to the power point hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was mould on the mirror. The mop that’s used to clean the property could be removed so you don’t see how dirty it is. The coffee was hardened to the container and expired. The alpacas weren’t in the yard like described.
- Jenny (7/5): Tiny hoise was comfortable for short stay but it is in need of some TLC. - Tiny House was functional, bed was comfy shower was good. Location was good. Windows really dirty, grass dangerously long, the whole place needs some TLC?
- Jaskiran (3/5): It was great location to escape from chaos but little effort to cleanliness would have made a differ - Location and host : welcoming Cleanliness
- Ken (7/5): Quiet & peaceful. Would stay at the pub next time. - Quiet, peaceful. Could see another unit on the property, looked very unkempt & an eyesore & stuff around the property made it look like a rubbish dump.
The upkeep of the property is shoddy at best.
The alpacas didn’t look too flash & the vineyard looked abandoned.
Bathroom and floors were dirty, so we didn’t even have a shower. The cupboards were also grotty.
The accommodation itself would’ve been okay if this was taken care of.
Overall, it was very overpriced for what it is.
- Candida (8/5): A fun experience - It was a fun experience The winery is over grown & you need to review your summary of the accommodation bc the alpacas never came anywhere near us, they remained in the back paddock. I know that’s not something you can help but it didn’t quite seem like as described.
Also, needs a thorough clean, under the bed & behind the fridge was very dusty & caused some asthma.
- Sharon (10/5): Peaceful, pet friendly accommodation. - It was tucked away in a quiet farm location with nice views of a pine forest and vineyard with friendly alpacas. A bucket of food was in the tiny house for their breakfast if you wanted to feed them. We loved that we could bring our dog and that there was even a dog kennel provided for her. Just bring your own bedding. Everything we required was provided for our one night stay to be comfortable. The host stayed in touch promptly by text message if we needed anything. A shower, kitchenware, towels and linen all provided. No tv or wifi so it’s great for the peace and quiet and to relax in nature. We loved it and would recommend to others. Nothing.
- Jenna (4/5): Disappointing -
- Liu (9/5): Superb -
- Preeti (6/5): Overall a lovely experience if you want to get away from the noise of the city & connect with nature - Quiet amongst nature and very scenic. Shower in the bathroom had mould on all four sides on the floor corners - not acceptable
The fit outs in the smaller Tiny room I stayed in can be better organised and considering you charged over $250 per night you can at least provide some creamer or milk for tea / coffee ?
- Natalie (4/5): A bit disappointed - Easy check in. Hot water was fast. Bed comfortable. Flowerdale Hotel was lovely for a beer and Kinglake National Park proved great for a walk. No alpacas - even though it is listed as an alpaca tiny house. I had to message the host a day into my stay to ask about their whereabouts, to which he replied a few hours later saying they had escaped. I understand that some things are out of the hosts control, however the host could have messaged me to alert me. Seems like a waste and I didn’t get what I booked.
Vineyard is unkempt.
Kitchen was a bit dirty, eg. toaster looked as though it had not been cleaned in a while.
There were a few ants in the tiny home.
Door latch was functional but kept on getting stuck, tricky to open and close the door.
