The host Tim is very attentive to guests needs, ma - The location,charm,cleanliness,hospitality of a host, well maintained and clean spa and adds on such as personalised breakfast and wine and setting up an extra bed. Lothlorien was memorable. We would love to come back.

• Jennifer (10/5): Excellent mountain retreat, exceptional facilities, breakfast provided, host is wonderful. - The host provided ingredients for a continental and cooked breakfast - unexpected and totally awesome! The property had a spa, which was not used this time, The host was available on arrival and great with communication. The property was so comfortable, would recommend to anyone wanting a mountain retreat. It was all good, couldn't find anything to fault!

• Vinnie Luong (10/5): - Lothlorien is a stunning property and nothing short of magical. Tim and his Mrs (who live next door onsite) met us on arrival and showed us around the house, and they made sure we knew they were available to help with anything we needed whilst still respecting our privacy (though we were travelling with our toddler and baby so I'm sure they heard us!) The barn is well set out, well equipped and very comfortable, with Netflix and Stan on the TVs, books to read, board games and a basket of toys that our daughter enjoyed playing with. The gardens were stunning and breakfast options were more substantial than we expected! Only a couple of minutes drive from town and not long of a drive to walks, waterfalls and crystal clear rivers to swim in. That we had to leave!

• Lodia (10/5): Perfect accommodation in a great location - The converted barn is incredible. Very nicely furnished and very comfortable. Tim is super helpful and the included breakfast and wine was such a nice touch. The Spa was amazing too. Highly recommend. Would be great if it had a snow gear drying cupboard. (Feedback only not criticism)
• Bel (9/5): Beautiful Barn Cottage in a great location. - Excellent location, and very lovely accommodation. Very tidy, and Tim was a very considerate host. The bottom sleeping area didn’t get a lot of heating at the air conditioning is high, so the top room was cosier. The heated blanket helped a lot though.

• Felicity (8/5): Great stay in a beautiful property - Lovely, stylish property; outdoor hot tub; amazing breakfast supplies, fruit and wine included; great host who is there when you need him but not at all intrusive; good location - close enough to drive to the ski fields each day. Only minor things, but I would have loved to have had a few more kitchen utensils - the basics are there, but a few additions would make cooking easier; body wash in the bathroom would be nice; and we were a bit disappointed that the main bed wasn’t a king, given the enormous size of the main bedroom.

Cooking is electric and take time, coffee machine didn't work, and low quality of the dish and cook wears. Lights should be more soft and warm.

• Michael (10/5): A fantastic, magical place to relax and enjoy yourself. - Wonderful stay for our little family. Clean, comfortable and welcoming, and the breakfast provided was excellent. The walk through the bird filled gardens was magical, and it's only minutes to the town centre. The host Tim was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home.

Tim went out of his way to ensure every little thing was taken care off- bread, eggs, bacon, fruit and even got us a bottle of wine! We had a relaxing stay! Went down for Valentine’s Day. The home was spotless. Tim welcomed us and was so thoughtful got us chocolates for Valentine’s day 🥰 Nothing not to like!!

The hosts Tim and Marsie are so lovely and very accommodating. - So unique and everything was well thought out and supplied to provide comfort and relaxation. Like a story book cabin away from home with an outdoor spa. Everything was very clean too. There is only one bathroom and no separate toilet.

• Rita (5/5): Feeling let down - The accommodation was clean, tidy in a quiet neighbourhood. The owners Marsie and Tim. My card was declined, unsure why it was working for me fine. I transferred money as thought I might have had a DD I forgot about and didn’t have enough cash. Declined again. I offered to Marsie to pop over as they live only a few steps away and figure it out. I was told no and that Tim will come over after work to sort issue out. It made me feel very uncomfortable, it sounded like she believed I didn’t wanted to pay and she needed to send her man. I didn’t wanted no man coming to my door at night. I understand he is the owner but he is a stranger to me. I offered her to pay with a different method such as PayPal. Marsie then given me account details and I transferred the full fee instantly. All sorted, no man needed. I took a screenshot of the transaction that included account data, amount and receipt number. Sent it to Marsie as evidence. I thought it was all good. However, In 24 hrs and 30 minutes I’ve received an other msg from Marsie requesting me to ring my bank and find out what the issue is as she still hasn’t received payment. At this stage I strongly believed that the owners aren’t trusting me at all and believe that I’m some kind of scam. I got very upset. I’ve done what I needed to do, I provided evidence and now asked to ring a bank to find out what the holdup is when there is no hold up. It’s bank transfer it needs a day or 2. I explained that some banks take longer than others. The next day we couldn’t go to Falls due to weather conditions and although we still had a day to enjoy I just couldn’t. I felt so uncomfortable being there knowing I was not trusted I had to leave. Packed up my kids and we left. I’m not a criminal my card just declined it doesn’t make me a scammer but I was treated like one. Very bitter experience we will not be returning.
• Tess (10/5): We loved staying at this cosy barn with it's soothing aesthetic. - Marise and Tim were exceptional hosts with their thoughtful hospitality, allowing our stay to be relaxing. I felt comfortable to approach them if needed, however we didn't need to. The property was clean, quiet and warm. The breakfast was tasty, the spa was divine, the couches and bed were comfortable. We were a short drive from town and the kitchen was well equipped to dine in. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Marsie was always available to assist us with any questions about the area or the facilities. The property is clean and comfy with a cosy feel, beautiful gardens surround the property. The spa was great after a day on the slopes! N/A- everything was well thought and considered, no concerns and would stay there again in future if the opportunity arose. Thank-you Marsie! Your hospitality was very much appreciated and we will recommend Lothlorian to others.

One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby trails. The hosts were the epitome of hospitality, always on hand to ensure my stay was flawless. Their attention to detail and the cleanliness of the property did not go unnoticed. I left with memories I will cherish, and I cannot wait to return to this slice of paradise.

The owners were very accommodating and kind. It was not a bad thing at all, just that customers need to know that the owners are in a house on the property right beside the barn.

The hot tub is so nice at the end of the day and the bed is quite possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The owners are lovely, thoughtful and it's really nice to meet some locals and know they're not far away if needed.

Excellently appointed property, well equipped, with added bonus of a hot tub. Bountiful and varied breakfast provisions and bottle of local wine. The second bedroom is listed as having a double and single bed. In reality it is a single and king single bed.

• Simin (10/5): 10 out of 10 Staying - Property locates right next to Kiewa Valley Highway, easy access to all facilities and Mt Beauty surroundings. Perfect place to getaway, as all sorts activities for families, either chill out or adventure. The host Marsie and Tim are both welcoming. Variety of breakfast options prepared. Rooms setup nice and neat. Beautiful orchard and hot spa are bonus.

She asked about my kids, left toys for them, left the table set up for breakfast, waited for me at night to do check in, explained me about some basic stuff of the house. Left us some gifts as well. Hot tub was fantastic, perfect touch for a relaxing holiday. Both Marsie and Tim was welcoming and so thoughtful. So many little touches and thoughtful gifts made our holiday special. Definitely we will return and it is home away from home. Would love to score 11/10. There was nothing specific that stood out to us.

• India (10/5): A PERFECT GETAWAY - EVERYTHING! The photos show exactly what you will get. Breakfast was lovely, the beds are super comfy, hot tub was perfect. The hosts were incredible and provided everything we needed. Marsie and Tim did our laundry for us and provided us with a baking tin on request. Marsie was kind enough to pick us up from town as we didn't realise the taxi services were no longer running. I would 100% stay here again! Nothing, it was perfect.
