Guest Reviews
- Raimond (10/5): Awesome place, wish we could of stayed longer - Very warm and comfortable. Easy walk into the harbour. Nothing was bad
- Johnston (10/5): Spacious, clean and comfortable stay with everything we needed to relax for 2 nights - This was the perfect place to stay after we completed the 3 Capes Hike. Our party of four loved how clean and comfortable it was, spacious and well equipped. We did some laundry and cooked in the first night. Kitchen and dining area were great too. Location was easy to get to shops and car parking was safe. No complaints at all
- Carmen (10/5): Great stay in Hobart CBD - Everything!
This place had plenty of supplies ro keep you comfortable
The house has lots of charm and is very spacious
It was quiet, very clean.
On eof rhe best holiday rentals I've stayed in.
Excellent value for money. The area is hilly. Wasn't as close, within walking distance of the Salmanca and water area as I had thought it would be.
- Leeanne (10/5): This house is in a wonderful location for aHobart visit. It is comfortable, gorgeous and welcoming. - Location was amazing. House was gorgeous adn spacious and felt like home away from home. Nothing
- Dinesh Lama (8/5): - Clean, tidy and spot on location... only one toilet for whole house was bit difficult for us as we were big family
- Emma (8/5): -
- Chanpaseuth (10/5): - Beautiful home with modern furnishings. Close to supermarkets and restaurants.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Great location, easy to walk to everything. House was fantastic and host very easy to communicate with. - Great location, very clean and room for everyone to spread out. Nothing

- Nadine (10/5): House on Princes - The house was spotless clean and very well heated. We loved that it had doonas with proper covers (not just blankets with top and bottom sheets). Location is great, in a quiet neighbourhood.

- Con (10/5): Lovely home, convenient location, great for families. Hosts were very helpful. I highly recommend this property. - Location, amenities & cleanliness.
- Julia (10/5): Great family stay. - Perfect location for our family while in Hobart. Huge rooms, lots of comfy beds. Walking distance to lots of nearby shops and restaurants. Only one bathroom with a toilet but we all managed.
- Clare (10/5): Great place to stay - Great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of room for our family of four. V short walk to shops. Definitely stay again when back in Hobart!
- Fiona (10/5): Great house and location. Would book again. - Great location, walking distance to shops, cafes and battery point. House was lovely, comfy beds and sofa, large bedroom and living space. Basic amenities (coffee pods, tea, milk, toiletries and loo roll). We loved playing on the Wii and the little garden was lovely. Was also great to have off street parking as the street had time limits. Wifi worked well. There was also a cot!
- Lyle (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Angie (9/5): Fabulous Family Friends & Peace in Comfort and Style🏡🌹 - Princes Street is a short walk in beautiful Sandy Bay to everything you need … supermarkets shops hotels restaurants beach local buses …
Hobart City … Battety Point - Wharf - Salamanca Market - and Access to the Huon Valley ! So easy to get to where you choose to go😋 The age of the area makes for smaller streets … parking can be an issue! I suggest a smaller car around this area !
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annie (10/5): Very comfortable home in nice area with off street parking - Great location, handy to everything in a quiet location and the host (doesn’t live on-site) was very accommodating to have lights and heating on for us for our late night arrival. The house had all the facilities needed for our 4 night stay. It was spotlessly clean, had off street parking and a lovely private courtyard at the rear which was a great spot to have breakfast with an outdoor dining table and chairs. The beds were comfortable and the house decor was fresh and welcoming without being too fussy. An added bonus was a great cafe, Giddy Up, just a little way further up Princes Street for coffee, breakfast or lunch It was ideal for us and there was nothing that we disliked.
- Rosmarie (10/5): We‘d be happy to return anytime we come back to Hobart! - It was an easy anytime check-in. The place is spacious yet very cosy. The owner is super fast in his replies and always happy to accommodate whatever he is asked for. We had a great time at this house. Thank you!
- Lesley (8/5): Home away from home. - Excellent and quiet location. Place could have better heating for winter as when we arrived the heaters had only just been turned on but took many hours to warm up and we had to leave them on for our stay to maintain the heat but a lovely place, would stay again in the future. Only other note was the dryer is extremely loud and may be on its way out.
Manager was easy to deal with and excellent communication.
- Beatrice (10/5): Exceptional - The house was warmed up for us when we checked in, the room sizes were bigger than expected, just a beautiful house overall.
- Chi (10/5): Large cosy house, can walk to Salamanca Market, shops and Pier. Excellent value for money - Entire house with various rooms. Whole house is cosy. Within walking distance to Salamanca Market and piers and shops. Nil
- Hedy (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent spot godd to do in all directions daytrips
Even most southern spot. Brunie Island.
Good facilities near by walking distance.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Jeremy (9/5): Superb -
- Usmansaleem (9/5): Beautiful house at the best location - Exactly as mentioned in the listing. Excellent location and beautifully maintained house. The host was very responsive. Nothing to dislike as nothing was unexpected.
- Andy (9/5): Superb -
- Jeanette (9/5): Lovely full-sized self contained House for a getaway - The house is very spacious and clean. There were a lot of self-contained rooms like the lounge, dining, kitchen are all self-contained. The laundry was hidden in the hallway closet, very modern. A full-size bathroom with a full-size bath. The ceilings are nice and high, and there was two air-conditioners to warm the home and one portable heater. It was very close to the city centre but had some views. Being a freestanding house you get your own independence which is lovely and a nice little courtyard at the back and lots of little things like a portable clothesline, microwave, TV with the extra programs like Netflix available on smart tv. Most of the beds needed upgrading, or a very good topper. On the very last night, I found a single bed that was actually pretty good and had a good night sleep, but all the other nights we were waking up. It would be good to have more blankets the 2 blankets in the queen size room, we didn’t notice them until too late. The blanket in the lounge is very nice but a few more would be great considering it can accommodate eight people. The only other thing was there was cat urine in the driveway so whenever we went to the car we could smell it but that’s probably unavoidable because it’s outside. We would’ve loved more information on the local areas like the beaches, the botanical Gardens, Mona Museum, but other things that we might’ve missed because we didn’t know on a Google search if it really showed us what we needed. Most of the brochures were for sightseeing far away.
- Karen (10/5): Family friendly very comfortable accommodation with a very accommodating host. - the host was extremely helpful and allowed us to check in early. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. Thoughtful extras supplied by host coffee pods, tea, coffee. Extra towels available. Washing detergent Clear instructions for use of washing machine and dryer Liked everything
- Anne (8/5): Nice gesture from our host Shane leaving the heating on for us after our late arrival from QLD. We enjoyed our stay in t - Comfortable, clean and roomy family house set in a pretty garden located handy to local shops and supermarket and a 5 minute drive to Hobart CBD. Kitchen could do with more bench space for food preparation etc but fine for a short stay.
- Indee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (8/5): Very good - Location is great. Lots of room
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Denis (7/5): Very nice - Good location, plenty of space Only one bathroom

- Jan (8/5): A very comfortable house for a holiday in Sandy Bay. - The location was great, you could walk into the city. Lots of restaurants, cafes within walking distance. Nice outdoor area and well-kept garden.
with a car-port. The lounge was comfortable and the dining area was good with a nice outlook. The beds were very comfortable and the 2 main bedrooms are a good size. We liked everything.
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional - So close to eateries, ease of booking, cleanliness, large house with big dining table to share meals, warm and inviting, would stay again.
- Yu (10/5): v nice. I will recommend others to try - the owner prepared heater before our check in. no
