Silvi (10/5): Excelente cabaña con estufa. Súper tranquilo el lugar. - Excelente la atención de Cristian. La cabaña está equipada para cocinar, calefaccionar, con ropa de cama. Tbn tiene un secador de cabello. Nos proporciono leña para la estufa. Solo diría que es un poco alejado si uno está sin auto. Ya q hay unos caminos medios complicados si uno está sin vehículo. Y tb estaría bueno más oscuro el dormitorio, las cortinas que no pasen luz. Por otro lado, pero no tiene q ver con el alojamiento en si! Booking cobro un extra, una comisión que en ningún momento la vi antes. Un día antes de ir me lo notificaron desde el alojamiento y busque y busque y no encontraba lo de ese extra que eran casi 80 dólares. Obvio lo pagamos, pero sería mejor dejarlo claro !

Richard (8/5): Quiet, rustic, easy parking, hard to find first time - Quiet, nice view, out of the hustle and bustle of town but still very close. Roomy and I selected a cabin that had a washing machine, which is super useful on a long trip. Cooking facilities are adequate to save $ on a few meals (there are many good supermarkets in town), and the shower is fine. Loads of easy parking. I got in the habit of driving partway to town (where there is still free street parking) and walking the rest of the way. It can be a long uphill walk home if you leave the car behind entirely. Like others say, it is a very rough last 1000m to reach the property. I would not want to arrive after dark the first time as it is not signed or numbered; you have to truly believe your Google Maps navigator. Also I’m ambivalent about the only source of heat being the wood stove; it provides a nice ambience but is stone cold by morning, so it’s a chilly start if you have a cold night outside. The couches are getting a bit musty and you might find the kitchen counter stools a bit “kids table” height.

The log fire and constantly topped up kindling and wood was fabulous, especially when the rain and wind arrived. Gutted we didn't have a view of the volcano but 🤷‍♀️

Cristian (el anfitrión) se encargó de tener la estufa prendida para estuviese calentita. Nada. Todo muy bien.

Loreen (10/5): Comfortable, well-appointed cabins perched above the lake - A clean, simply but comfortably furnished cabin with spectacular views over the lake. Our host Cristian thought of everything, even laying out kindling in the wood stove so it was ready to be lit when the evening turned cool. Comfortable and firm beds, great water pressure, well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in two different cabins — one had a washing machine which was very handy. The property is only about 1.5 km from town but at the top of a hill (hence the views!) which ends on a bit of a bumpy, gravel road — it is quite drivable but be prepared. It’s accessible by taxi or Uber but is most handy for visitors with their own car. Cristian, please get Google Maps to improve the driving directions! (Our host met us where Google left us, about 400 metres’ shy of the cabins).

Wombat-1 (9/5): Secluded place with a view - Very quiet location. View of the volcano. The host was very friendly and responded to requests immediately. He also fired up the stove every evening. Large living/dining room. There was no microwave. The hot water in the shower was unsteady, suddenly the hot water stopped and came back after a while.
