• ellie (10/5): helemaal geslaagd! - De prachtige grote omheinde tuin voor de hond en het achterliggende weiland langs de rivier waren geweldig. Het huis zelf was heel mooi ingericht, heel schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. En de gastheer en gastvrouw waren bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam, kortom, perfect! niets
• Evelien (9/5): Super fijn verblijf op geweldige locatie! - De prachtige locatie en hoe het perceel hier ook naar was opgezet (afgesloten stuk, door poortje toegang tot het grotere perceel en de rivier) waren geweldig! Maar ook de geweldige ontvangst van host Carolien en algemene communicatie waren top! Er was weinig tot niets dat ons niet beviel. Als ik iets moet zeggen, dan vond ik het misschien niet het meest comfortabele bed.
• Meijaard (10/5): Very comfortable, stylish and well equipped property with great hosts - This is a lovely property in a nice little village. The house is beautifully restored, very warm during cool spring days, and really comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a decent meal. Caroline and Thierry were great and very friendly hosts. We will be back.

• Pletincx (9/5): Séjour confortable à la campagne dans un logement bien équipé et d'aimables propriétaires - Endroit calme dans un petit village. Ancien bâtiment très bien restauré et aménagé. Lits confortables. Accueil et contact très sympathique. Nous avons eu bien chaud, douche impeccable. Pas de serviette de bain prévue mais la propriétaire nous en a fourni facilement. Pas de wifi dans les chambres mais fonctionne bien dans le salon
• Maarten (10/5): We hebben genoten, wat wil een mens nog meer . - Warme ontvangst met prima uitleg over het wel en wee in en rond de accommodaties. Grote afgesloten tuin waar de honden veilig konden darren. Prima bedden en een geweldige douche.. Met andere woorden we hebben oprecht genoten Helemaal niets. De Host ook tijdens het verblijf super attent. Meermaals gevraagd of het ons aan iets ontbrak , hetgeen niet het geval was .
• Gillian (10/5): - A beautifully renovated property with lots of original features and the underfloor heating was a bonus at this time of year. The garden is great, dog friendly, and has gated access to an additional field and the river. The local walks were interesting and easy to follow. The area is full of history and nature and is perfect for a chilled out break. Thank you for sharing your part of the world - we hope to visit again!! Nothing!!
• Martine (10/5): Prachtige, karaktervolle woning in een supermooie omgeving - Supermooi, kraaknet en karaktervol huis met heel veel smaak ingericht. De 2 slaapkamers met annex badkamer, echt top👍. De ligging, de rivier in de achtertuin, de volledig afgesloten tuin voor de honden, allemaal pluspunten. Wandelingen vanaf het huis naar de rivier en naar het bos; geen verplaatsing met de auto nodig als je er een weekje bent😀. Ook de warme ontvangst door Caroline. Discreet en beschikbaar wanneer nodig. Kortom een fantastisch verblijf👌🏼😃 -
• Tamara (9/5): Prachtige authentiek, gerenoveerde gite 👍 - De prachtige renovatie van een oud huis. Uiterste vakmanschap met oog voor interieurinrichting, tuin en omheining! Accommodatie is super. De locatie als uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Bastenaken zeer ok. Echter in de herfst, meeste mooie wandelroutes verboden terrein door jachtseizoen. Super vriendelijke gastvrouw en een gastheer met gouden werkhanden 😀

• orca68 (9/5): Wir werden sicher gerne wieder kommen - Die Lage der Unterkunft, Möglichkeiten direkt ab der Unterkunft zu tollen Spaziergängen , eine prima Joggingstrecke direkt vor der Haustür. Ein mega tolles Grundstück (abgezäunt) für unsere Hunde mit direktem Zugang zum Flüsschen vor der Tür. Viele kleine praktische Dinge die der Gastgeber mit eingebaut hat und die ganze Unterkunft ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Ein echtes Bijou!!!!! Das einzige Manko und das ist jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau, die Unterkunft ist etwas dunkel halt ein Umgebauter alter Stall. Es gibt genug Licht und leuchten aber es ist halt wenig Tageslicht. Im Sommer aber sicher herlich kühl auch an sehr warmen Tagen, und jetzt im Herbst durch eine tolle Heizung auch an Regentagen sehr gemütlich und heimelig.

• Pieter (10/5): Top! - De zorg en aandacht die de gastheer en gastvrouw aan de locatie en informatievoorziening besteden is heel fijn. Alle details klopten. Maar één klein puntje, op de weg langs het huis kwam 's middags wel eens een motorfiets voorbij. Verder alles perfect!

• Gio Buttiens (10/5): - Beautifully renovated barn with lovely hosts who will give you ample information about the neighbourhood. Every room has its own small bathroom which is quite handy. Big, fully enclosed garden for the dogs which is a big plus. Pictures on booking are exactly like in real life Nothing. Everything was great.
• M. (10/5): Top! - Mooi gerenoveerde boerderijstal. Van binnen was het top! Alles aanwezig. Erg smaakvol ingericht. Heerlijke bedden. Ondanks de hitte buiten was het binnen lekker koel (zonder airco). Geen handdoeken aanwezig. Geen probleem als je een paar dagen gaat, maar voor langere periode wordt het lastig. Vooral omdat er geen wasmachine is.

• Vivian (10/5): Very cosy - We come here every year and every time we loved there! Caroline is so helpful and kind. Also very close to Luxembourg, if you want to buy some alcohol or need to filling gas for the car. Just a 7 min drive. & Nature is just behind the stay, our dog had a really good time. See you next year :)
• Patsy (10/5): A very comfortable stay in a creatively refurbished gite. - Le Scailleteux is a beautifully renovated property, with very creative use of some of the old and attractive features. Caroline gave us a very warm welcome, and recommended many of the local attractions. The property is very comfortable and well equipped, and we appreciated the underfloor heating in the main kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed the old game of riboulette! We thoroughly recommend a visit to the Bastogne War Museum, one of the most interesting and creative museums we have ever visited. There was nothing to dislike.

• Thijs (8/5): Excellent stay; definately recommended for a peaceful holiday surrounded by nature. - We had an excellent stay at this beautifully restored accommodation. The location is great; private with a large garden an a river at the end. Some possibilities for hiking in the immediate area, but quite close to Luxembourg and a very nice lake. The only downside we can think of is the lack of a washing machine.
